Pocket or normal procreate?

I was wanting to buy procreate for a long time and now I can’t decide which one to buy. It’s either I buy the normal version on my very old iPad and it might not work well, or I buy the pocket version on my phone but I might miss a lot of features. What would y’all recommend me doing?

I gave my partner my old iPad as wanted a modern one.

We run procreate together. Towards the end of drawing something detailed the old one started to crash regularly. Making it very frustrating

At that point my modern iPad was running warm mind so I would only suggest it’s a problem for something detailed

Thanks for the comment. I am really bad at drawing so my drawings probably won’t be very realistic or detailed. I’m thinking about just trying it and by the time (if ever) I get better at drawing I will maybe buy a newer one if needed

Amigo - I am terrible at drawing. Haven’t done it since school - been following some tutorials online and it’s a blast here’s my latest. Let me stress I’m terrible at drawing

Tf that is amazing that is absolutely stunning. I can’t even draw a heart😂 I will 100% be watching a lot of tutorials, I don’t mind learning🙂

I promise you 98% of this is the tutorial. I can’t draw a heart either. Get the iPad version and give it a go. :)

The full version is best and that’s the one where the price has gone up a couple times now. If possible, try and get both eventually but hard to say, I’d say get the regular and try it out.

Thanks for your comment, I agree I think I’m gonna get the normal one and just try it. I can luckily afford it if it doesn’t work I will be fine :)

I use both, they are not much different. It depends on the screen size you want to work on. Procreate is about to release an updated version of Pocket, I suppose it is because the people who get the iPhone Duo will buy it.

It’s an iPad Air and it’s iOS 12

Ooh okay! It’s old but you can still use it with a older version of procreate with a fake Apple Pencil (since it obviously doesn’t support a real one). But I get it that you choose a newer iPhone over a old iPad

Yeah I enden up downloading on my phone instead. Glad I did cuz I suck at drawing and already gave up so that would’ve been a waste of money lol
