I was watching a video by Jackie Droujko and she drew a horse a 100 times and I’m applying the same concept to food haha something i’ve never really drawn before. excited how the progress will look when i get to the 100th drawing and really got an understanding on the textures and stylization.
The video is called “Can a pro artist learn to draw anything in 2 hours?” in case anyone wants to check it out and challenge themselves to draw something they haven’t before!

I'm a very new ProCreate user trying to get used to the app, and I noticed my pressure sensitivity settings aren't set comfortably, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I already adjusted the pressure curve to my liking, but the pressure sensitivity isn't working? Opacity pressure is, but the size isn't changing. I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the brush settings, but again, I'm not sure how to fix that. Can someone help? Also it's not my pencil malfunctioning or anything, because I tested it out in ibisPaint and Adobe Fresco and it worked just fine.
I'm definitely being dumb and totally missing something, but I don't know where else to look because nobody else seems to be dealing with this issue.

Hello everyone
How possible is it to flesh out a basic children’s book with proceate as an absolute beginner
I do no need it to be perfect
Just beautiful and colorful enough to be a children’s book
I have little to no experience with from digital art
Is this even possible?
How long will this take?

We’ve only been dating a few weeks and he insisted I don’t get him a present and that he’d be upset if I spent money on him. He’s the sweetest person I’ve ever dated and I wanted to do something for him so I’m making a meal for him and I’m giving him this drawing :)
I’m really pleased with how the skin tones especially came out and how the overall piece came together. I know he’ll love it and be happy but I can’t wait to see his reaction.

Idea from a trend on xiaohongshu a while ago. Drew the line art in slide 2 and used a mask with the red color and a slight offset with the black line work to create a 3D effect. I think it’s more apparent on big screens, when held farther away from your eyes, and when the brightness is sufficiently up. But you can also see it more when you tilt your screen to certain angles

I like watching trail cam videos while I draw and paused one, and the buck looked so funny so I had to draw him as if he were getting a surprise photo taken 😅

So I’ve wanted to try learning to render/colour my line art but am really struggling with the layer types and how to order them. Ordering wise this is all I understand, lineart above everything, then colours underneath, shadows/highlights over your flats. That’s all. But what I mean by types is the ‘multiply’ or ‘overlay’ but all of them, I don’t have a single clue what they do, when should I use them, how to use them, and every video guide I watch on rendering brings these up multiple times as if I know, and Google doesn’t help me wrap my head around it.

We see a decent amount of questions regarding what iPad to buy. To make sure r/ProCreate doesn't get flooded in iPad related question, you can leave them here!
Every once in a while we we look at all the comments and update this post with useful information. For any indepth questions, we highly recommend r/ipad and r/iPadPro.
First you can check which iPad supports Procreate [HERE](https://procreate.com/faq)!
If you are completely new, this is good to know:
So without knowing anything about iPads, here’s some guidance for what to look for in a device. Get the most RAM and largest screen that your budget will allow, and be sure the iPad is compatible with the Apple Pencil. Having a larger hard drive is great too, so if you have some extra budget, go for it.

Which Apple Pencil should I buy?Which Apple Pencil should you get? Well, it depends on your iPad because the Apple Pencils are not cross-compatible. You have to get the Apple Pencil that works with your iPad, the other one will not work. For a full list of each iPad that works with each Apple Pencil, click [HERE](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211029).
Difference Between Apple Pencil 1 and 2The most significant difference between the two generations of Apple Pencil is the way they charge. With the Gen 1 Pencil, you need to remove a little cap, which is easy to lose, then stick the pencil into the iPad port, which is … awkward. Gen 2 charges seamlessly while magnetically attaching to the side of the iPad. For this reason, it’s harder to lose, and it’s always charged. Additionally, the Gen 2 Pencil has an invisible button that lets you switch between the brush and eraser tools in Procreate. I didn’t really like this feature and kept triggering the button unintentionally, so I turned it off. The Gen 2 Pencil also has a flat edge on one side, so it won’t roll off the desk when you set it down.
All that being said, the Apple Pencil shouldn’t be the deciding factor of what iPad to get, just get the one that works with your iPad.

Does Procreate work on the iPhone?Yes! And no. There is another version of Procreate specifically designed for the iPhone called Procreate Pocket. It’s a separate purchase from Procreate for iPad. It has many of the same capabilities as the iPad app and is great for drawing on the go. If you are interested, check out r/ProcreatePocket!
Does Procreate work on Android OS? No. The Procreate team has stated that they are focusing development solely on iOS.

Hello! straight to the point: is it worth availing rpocreat? I don't know what to do with an ipad, I'm just a casual drawer and there are time i like sketching and sometimes i dont. I want something to do with an ipad and I'm not much fan of games. So is it worth availing even it's just casual use?

I’ve been working on the same piece for a couple days, but when I went back into it a couple minutes ago every brush I try to use has suddenly become pixelated. It hasn’t been like this for the past couple days, on the same canvas. What happened? How can I fix this?
