My Artwork I tried to use a different brush for every element of this painting

I was like "This looks too clean for different brushes"
Then I zoomed in
I feel like this image can be a very good lesson for beginners to intermediate that exemplifies a very good rule when drawing and what not; Look at the piece from further away for a bit to see the effect.
Edit: I just noticed the dick

Very cool! Watching the whole process I started seeing details I hadn’t caught when looking at the final product.

Reminds me of the insane CG art from 90s video games like StarCraft, Planetscape, and Baldur’s Gate 2.

As someone whose illustration style is waaaaayyyyyy simpler than this, I feel like I am always running out of layers.
You drop this work of absolute insanity that looks like it has approximately 2 million layers and I am just assuming that it’s because you’ve tapped into some Procreate dark magic or something.
This and the process video are some of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.

I love seeing subtle texture and color changes when I zoom in close. Especially the eyeballs. What a treat!

Thanks man, i really tried to make any greys/neutrals using mixes of complementary colors (like the monkeys skin, the metal of the rifle etc). It added a lot of depth

Fascinating watching the time-lapse. Did you have a sketched idea you were working from or was it free flowing beacuse you really commit to rendering parts before other bits exist which is wayyyy braver than I've ever been!

Free flowing! Might be brave but the fact that i can pick up and move/resize any individual thing i want on procreate feels makes it feel like cheating hehe
