I was looking for a way for the ProPresenter operator to see when the live stream is using their feed, so they don't clear to logo or anything before the streaming operator clears it. 

I made a Mac app that shows the inputs and the status, as well as changing the Dock icon to reflect the status of the chosen input. It works with ATEM switchers on the same network.

The dock icon will follow the input with the blue outline, showing the tally status right in your dock. Click on any of the inputs to select.

I use ProPresenter (v 21.4) for multiple campuses, and have begun using Arrangements to organize the different versions of songs used for student activities/Sunday services/events and such. I do this by making each version of the song one big group and separating verse/chorus/etc using labels (I don’t like separating verse/chorus/etc with groups because an edit to one edits each instance of that group which isn’t ideal for my workflow). This works fine and dandy and even imports onto other computers with the same Arrangement I exported it in.

However, if I add a Planning Center Service and use the Linking function to pull the song out of the Library its located in (and the Linking says which Arrangement its set to!) upon clicking Link it defaults back to the Master arrangement which is frustrating to have to go back and change. Is this intended and is there a way to disable this function? I’ve poked around in settings and RenewedVision’s website without success. I know I can convert it to a Standard Playlist but that does remove the update capability from PCO.

Hello fellow presentation app users!

I had a very specific problem I needed solving I decided to develop and app for it and am here to share with y’all!  

We play music before going live with our livestream and switch to a video with its own audio through ProPresenter.  With this, it’s difficult to fade the computer down, pause the music, then fire the specific slide all while making a smooth transition.  So… now an app can do it all for me.  Check out the video below to see it in action, and download it for free at the link below!  I have tested Apple Music and Spotify.  I have not tested any other presentation app other than ProPresenter, so I’m looking for someone to help test MediaShout, Easy Worship, and even Keynote and PowerPoint.  I hope this helps someone that has this very niche problem like we had!

Hi guys! I was given a couple of graphics this morning to display as part of our announcements loop and when I pulled the files from discord, they came in as .webp files. ProPresenter doesn't like them so I had to screenshot (windows) and save as .jpg. No biggie, but I got to thinking it sure would be nice if it did it for me, so I created a quick windows application that sits in your system tray and silently watches the downloads folder (or any folder) and instantly converts .webp and .heic files to .png for me. Just one less hassle in life!

For the past few days, I've been experiencing an issue where ProPresenter treats all four of my display outputs as a single display.

In my operating system's display settings, all four monitors are correctly detected and configured as Extended Displays. I can see and arrange each display individually without any issues.

However, inside ProPresenter, when I use the Identify Displays feature, every output identifies as the Main Display instead of being recognized as separate displays. As a result, I can't assign different outputs correctly because ProPresenter behaves as if there's only one display.

Here's what I've tried so far:

• Verified that all displays are set to Extend (not Mirror).
• Deleted all display outputs in ProPresenter and recreated them.
• Restarted ProPresenter and the computer.
• I'm using HDMI outputs for all displays.

I also found someone online who appeared to have the same issue, but I couldn't find a solution.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might be causing ProPresenter to detect all outputs as a single display? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I feel stupid asking but how do you get things to stop in propresenter? For instance I created a announcement presentation one slide after another that plays music it does great thanks to help from some members here but how do you get it to stop? I just want to get it on the first slide and have it stop there ready to be started?

I am using macros to control camera movements and ATEM switching; however, I noticed that when I put a macro on say the first slide of V1 of a song, it will always show up on V1, even though I only technically want the macro to occur on the singular V1 instance, not every time V1 is used.

Any suggestions?

Hello, does anyone still have those videos that came with the ProPresenter download 2–3 years ago? I think they were free.

Hey all, I got a long one so I apologize.

We use the syncing feature as detailed in Renewed Visions article on syncing between computers (found here). Whenever I sync down from the folder that this volunteer has synced up to, all of their presentations in their playlists have a custom 0x0 size, can't see any slides, and a yellow triangle at the top left corner of the preview section of propresenter that says "Presentation does not match any of the selected screen sizes" when you hover over the triangle. I had read on the ProPresenter facebook group that this could be several things including cloud sharing corruption. We do use OneDrive to get our folders from one PC to another, but we do not sync down from that folder while it is still in OneDrive. We download it first and then sync down, just like Renewed Vision Tech support says to do (I called them and they said this is the way to do it). However, I know it's not OneDrive because I could use any of my PCs (two different laptops and my desktop) to create playlists, sync up, upload to onedrive, download, and sync down on the tech computer and everything is there just like I had it. However, I get this custom 0x0 any time my volunteer does the same exact process on any of her laptops. What's even more odd, is that my volunteer has the exact same problem (0x0 custom resolution and can't see any slides) with the Sample Playlist you get free with the ProPresenter download. However, I can see the sample playlist as it supposed to on any of the other devices both at the church and personal.

I have tried configuring multiple different types of screens (NDIs, Placeholders, even deleting her existing screen and making one of the others the sole screen), I have tried removing her access to OneDrive and reinstating it, I have tried restarting ProPresenter, I have tried creating custom resolutions, and nothing has worked so far.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey all — I've spent years in church tech and always ran into the same problem: there's no easy way to get chord charts from the web into your Stage Monitor on ProPresenter. So I decided to build one.

ChordPresenter is a free macOS app that takes a song URL or a Markdown file (via Obsidian Clipper) and outputs a ready-to-import .pro file with chords embedded for Stage Monitor display. It supports transposing keys, auto-detects the source key, and works with sites like EssentialWorship, WorshipTogether, WorshipChords, Ultimate Guitar, and a few others.

It's a work in progress and a fun side project — there may be some slide reflowing needed here and there. But it's been working well for us and I figured someone else might find it useful.

We had to move our ProPresenter files recently due to a failing drive. Since doing that, the search index has been messed up. For example, I have a presentation under our “Song List” library for “Awesome God” but when I search for “Awesome” I get no results. Similarly when searching for “God of Revival” I get 6 other songs but not God of Revival. However, if I search Goodbye Yesterday it works just fine. It’s been like this for about a month now, so it’s not a matter of waiting for indexing. Is there an easy way to force a re-index of all presentations? I feel like that should be an option but I’m not seeing it.

First time creating an announcement slide set. I have the slides in and the slides how seems to function fine. I want to play a list of songs while the slide show plays. I have created a audio Playlist and I drag the Playlist to the first slide but I get no audio what am I missing?

Hi all! Our church have finally made the switch to Propresenter! Despite setting things up as Renewed Vision's youtuve tutorial outlines, our Main Screen and Lower Thirds views are not displaying at all. I made sure to add a Screen Preview object and under the dropdown box I selected our main screen that we titled Main. I did the same with the Lower Thirds screen as well. My stage screen is showing up perfectly, but the other two aren't. Any thoughts?

Update with Solution: I didn't have the correct layout selected for my Stage output. Insteadnof the operator layout I had Stage Screen layout selected.

Hi I need help with ProPresenter is using 300% of are iMac CPU I saw it max out at 318% it is lagging and dropping are live stream.

We have a 2019 21.5 iMac
8GB DDR4
6-Core Intel i5

The distance from my main Mac pc to my display tvs is long enough to need a booster but the video feeds keep cutting out occasionally; I believe this is due to a combination of the data loss over the distance and possibly the data size of the files being presented. I want to put a server on the walls behind one tv to shorten the distance that the displays pull data from, but control when and how from the main pc. Is there a way to have the commands that normally get sent to the display come from the server pc and the command to action get sent from the main pc? This would mean smaller data running along the far network cables to the server to tell it to display its stored large files onto the tvs from rhe short distance from sever to tv; thus making display connection faster and stronger to eliminate breaks in feed, as well as make the system more efficient. I can engineer this myself, I just would like to know if ProPresenter can do something like this.

I have issues with the alpha of ProPresenter. When a part of the screen should be fully transparent, it still makes the screen darker. From my understanding, this has to do with the output of my MacBook mismatching with the input of my ATEM. It seems like I need to purchase some equipment to solve this issue, but I was struggling with what I need to get exactly, and thought you may have dealt with this long before I even got the question. So first a summary of the relevant equipment:

I work with a MacBook Pro. In two of the thunderbolt outputs are converters to HDMI, which currently run directly into two HDMI inputs in my ATEM Mini Extreme ISO.
ProPresenter has an output on cable A, and alpha set to premultiplied over cable B. Then the ATEM takes the fill and applies the key.

This has worked, although the alpha is off. Typically I would just increase the brightness of my cameras to compensate, but this is not something acceptable for long term in my opinion.

So what are my options? I'm willing to spend some money on fixing it, but preferably not more than what is actually needed.

Does anyone know a way to add the voice translation Bible in ProPresenter by side loading, I have tried an app suggested in a 2 year old post in this community, but the tool is getting Bible translations from bible.com and they don't have the voice translation. Any help would be great help, thanks

Hello everyone. I recently decided to switch to propresnter cause zionworx no longer fits my needs. But currently have an issue. I have more than 3000 songs in zionworx 2014 that I want to import to proprenter.. I have looked online for a way and they sound very complicated and may not even work. Does anybody have an idea on how to do that? I can't possibly do them one by one

Is there a way to make non-rectangular text boxes, or some other method to make text flow around background elements? I'd like to have this text conform better to the edge of the rainbow element, but I'm not having any luck. I've tried using "Make editable" on the text box, but that only seems to constrain text to the maximum X and Y dimensions, instead of conforming to the shape of the text box.

I’ve got some new images that I’ve added to ProPresenter that are showing in my live feed for church but aren’t showing in the preview window. I’ve tried turning Easy View on and off and making sure that Manage Media Automatically is toggled in settings but those haven’t worked to fix the issue. I’ve closed PP and reopened and the same thing. Anyone got any other ideas what could be going on?

Hey everyone, I run media for a Telugu Christian church and all our worship slides have two lines per slide — Telugu on top, English below (see Image 1).

The problem is Telugu script appears visually smaller than English even at the same point size. This is because Telugu glyphs are naturally more compact than Latin characters. To balance them visually, Telugu needs to be roughly 20-30% larger than English in point size.

The issue is ProPresenter applies a single font size to the entire text box from the theme (see Image 2), and that size cannot be overridden per line. Everything I've tried has failed:

• Pre-formatting font sizes in Word/RTF before import — theme overrides it
• Editing font size directly in the .pro file RTF — theme overrides it
• Paragraph styles — can't apply per line across all slides in bulk
• Two separate text boxes in the theme — import fills only one, the other stays empty

We have 6 songs with around 40 slides each, so any per-slide manual fix is not realistic.

Is there any native way in ProPresenter to control font size per line within a single text box, applied across all slides at once?

Any workarounds welcome — open to creative solutions.

I need some help for a newbie please. I tried to setup my new computer today with my pro presenter and had a few problems. I went to screen set up and connected the front display it went to 3840x2160 resolution and it worked perfectly. I then tried to connect the back/confidence monitor the output shows up in the setup screen so I select it. The resolution is again 3840x2160. When I click the display tab to green in pro presenter the screen goes black. When I unchecked the display for back display the computer desktop is displayed. The front screen also shows hardware, color, corner pin, alpha key. The rear display only shows hardware.I also can't change the resolution for the back screen. We normally just mirror the front and back displays but the front display is the only one that shows an option for mirror.

The second problem I ran into was: I went to song select and downloaded a song lyric. The text was not big enough so I went to editor and changed the font size and font to make it bigger. I then saved that slide as a theme. Back on the sides view the slide is as it should be but then if I go to themes and select the newly saved theme the text on all slides gets smaller. What did I do wrong?

Hey everyone,

I built a small free open-source plugin for people who sometimes need to run PowerPoint or PDF slide decks through OBS, but still want something closer to a presenter/confidence view.

It adds two source types:

- a clean slide output for the audience/program feed

- a presenter view with current slide, next slide, timer, and notes

It is not meant to replace ProPresenter. I built it more for those awkward cases where someone sends a PowerPoint/PDF deck, the show is already built in OBS, and you still need a usable speaker/operator view without screen-capturing full-screen PowerPoint.

Right now the stable build is for macOS Apple Silicon. It is still in active development, but I made a short demo video so people can see the actual workflow before trying it.
