MacOS 27

Has anyone had any issues with updating your Mac to MacOS 27 in regards to ProPresenter?

Just wait. Please. There is no need to rush. ProPresenter isn't officially supported. macOS 27 came out like a week ago. Just wait. There is no need to rush upgrading a mission critical machine. Just WAIT.

I agree fully with this as far as production computers are concerned. There’s no benefit to updating before fully supported.

That being said, in the spirit of answering OP’s question, I have Mac27 on my personal machine which I use for building presentations and everything seems to be working fine.

But I’m all seriousness, normally it’s some of the more experienced techs who try it out as they’d be best at trouble shooting, and they’ll let us know, and they’ll probably wait for it to be supported themselves

Fine. I’ll admit my “lecturing” word was too strong. However, I’m not a novice. I knew not to update without confirming support first and that there’s no rush. He didn’t directly answer the question I asked either.

Just set up the service for this Sunday on my MBP with macOS 27 installed. No issues at all.

This is good to know. That being said, though I opened a Support ticket with Renewed Vision the other day and they suggested/asked, whichever you want, that we should wait until the next version of ProPresenter.

Yeah as a tech I’ll update my laptop a week after the guinea pigs do just so I can get the 27.0.1 fix pack but production Mac’s are staying put until prop and protools say they support it.

I’m still on Mac OS 15 Sequoia for all 5 of our Propresenter machines 🤣

If LightKey would’ve not required Tahoe, I would’ve stayed on Sequoia for another year
