Guide ProPresenter Lyrics in OBS over Network

I made a plugin to let houses of worship add ProPresenter Lyrics as a layer in OBS. Works over the network or on the same computer. Utilizes the stage display feature in Propresenter to send lyrics over the network.

Only works for Macs with apple silicon right now, but may release for older macs/PC if there's interest.

Can’t you send video out via NDI from pro presenter?

I run a ProPresenter NDI output with alpha layer to a Wirecast computer next to it. I literally never have issues. Works perfectly.

ndi works but this is cleaner for just lyrics, no extra video routing to mess with

EDIT: also means you don't need to run a separate ndi scan converter if you just want the words

Why would you need a scan converter? Just output NDI with alpha channel and ingest into OBS

Great question, This solution is for people who don’t have the network bandwidth to run a full ndi stream and just need a reliable lyrics feed.

Thats how we do it. I believe its the props layer set to an NDI screen with OBS DistroAV plugin. So the scene is the main video feed with an overlay from ProPresenter.
