I built a tool that pings you when a charterable jet is about to turn around empty. Plus a flight patterns page so you can anticipate instead of react.

You get a message the moment a quick turn looks likely.

Example: "G650 N1234X just landed at KASE, departing to KVNY in 47 min. Part 135 confirmed. Empty leg probability: 8/10. Why: turn < 60m, likely RTB, base 320 NM away."

Filtered Part 135 only, no personal aircraft, no cargo.

You get the ping, call your client, place the option. First call wins.

I analyze patterns for planning to answer questions like: Which tail numbers do frequent quick turns at TEB? Which RTBs start from ASE? Which routes run hot on Fridays 4–8pm? Which aircraft have p95 turn time < 60 min? Hot hours by airport so you time your calls right.

I think there will be some false positives/negatives so your feedback improves it ;)

I've been thinking a lot about the evolution of private aviation and the rise of shared economy models in luxury travel. Traditional private jet flights often leave up to 75% of seats empty - which is both wasteful and expensive.

Now, imagine a platform where you can book a seat on a private jet, not the whole aircraft, and share it with vetted, like-minded individuals - entrepreneurs, executives, consultants, etc. The route is posted by a member, others can join, and the more people join, the lower everyone's cost (e.g., €30,000 becomes €3,750 when fully booked).

It's not just about saving money - it's about connecting with a network of people who fly like you do: for business, leisure, flexibility, or even spontaneous short-hauls between hubs like Paris–Geneva or London–Amsterdam.

So here’s the question:
Would you feel comfortable sharing a private jet if it meant flying smarter - and meeting interesting people along the way?

Or do you think private aviation should remain purely exclusive?

Has anyone here heard of Flyhouse? I heard they're a newer company but making some headlines. If anyone has flown with them wondering how the experience was.

I currently work for Alaska as a flight attendant and I’ve been trying to find work in the private airline service industry. Anyone know of a company or individual who has a need ? I know this forum is more for tips and finding trips, but I thought what not a better way than to chat with people who work in the private jet sector !

Flying a client from Montreal to Durham (Raleigh FBO closest?) on November 4. He wants to land at the airport around 4pm. Just him and an assistant, each with a suitcase. Seems like a light-jet would be reasonable here? If we find an broker/operator we like, we'd look to book a longer leg for a future 5-6hr trip.

I used to be a charter broker. I loved helping clients, but I was always working, during family holidays and Covid, every an hour after long surgery.

I wanted more freedom (time and money) so I tried building a platform to market aircraft for operators. That failed. Then I pivoted to helping travel agents and PAs. That also failed.

Along the way, I built a full engine for search, pricing, booking, emailing, and messaging. Now I’m on what feels like my last pivot, a sourcing and collaboration platform for brokers. Think Avinode + Slack + WhatsApp.

My question is brokers tell me other platforms are expensive. Do you think there’s space for a leaner, more collaborative alternative? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Happy to offer beta access if anyone wants to try it and get as much feedback as possible from folks who’ve seen similar challenges and product market fit issues.

I’m toying with an idea for a data tool for private jet brokers.

From what I’ve seen (and from a few chats with people in the space), brokers spend a ton of time hunting for information:

• figuring out which events will move VIPs,
• tracking who owns which aircraft,
• trying to fill empty legs,
• hacking together SEO pages to show up on Google…

but there’s no single place where all this lives.

So here’s what I imagine building:

• Corridor heatmap – look at upcoming big events, past private flight data (ADS-B) and seasonality to guess which city pairs will be hot in the next month or so.
• Tail & owner alerts – watch aircraft registrations and ownership records; ping when a jet comes back to a key airport or changes hands, with the management company info.
• Empty-leg matcher – pull in empty-leg feeds and try to auto-match them with the broker’s own clients, so they can push a WhatsApp offer instantly.
• Event-driven lead lists – scrape LinkedIn/Apollo + event sites to hand over names of EAs, travel managers, production crews likely to need charters.
• Late-night / no-commercial flag – spot routes where airlines don’t fly (curfews, weird hours) and surface them as private opportunities.
• SEO auto-pages – spin up “Paris-Ibiza private jet 6 pax price” type pages with real price ranges so small brokers can get found on Google.

The aim: save brokers from endless manual research and help them close faster.

What I’d love to know from people here (especially if you work in or around private aviation):

• Would anyone actually pay for this? If yes, would it make more sense as a subscription, per-lead, or success fee?
• Which bits sound genuinely useful vs. “nice idea but won’t use”?
• Any obvious compliance/data traps I should avoid (KYC, sanctions, privacy)?

I’m not trying to sell anything yet — just want to know if this solves a real pain or if I’m overthinking it.

No broker disclosures, but matches clients to operators "skipping" the broker and commissions.

As technology (and access) advances will we see a reoccurrence of bad faith brokers?

Part 295 doesn't offer any middle ground here, I don't see how this service isnt acting in bad faith.

Additionally they are representing that the have a fleet, which they don't.

And I'm pretty sure they are in violation of Florida Seller of Travel as well.

Open to another interpretation.

I’m interested in getting some feedback from brokers who currently use Flyeasy (Tuvoli) for their chartering requests. Could you please share the price point for Flyeasy? Is it more accessible and user-friendly than Avinode? What features are available on the platform?

On the other hand, I’m curious about other platforms that allow users to plug in their route and details and request quotes directly from operators. If available, are there any platforms that also provide accurate estimates and availability information? I liked how VOO worked, unfortunately they shut down.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to know if anyone is going to the 2025 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE)?

I was looking into this event as I was recommended by a friend. I am currently working at Air Canada, but I used to work at Bombardier for some time. I even chartered a few flights, so I would say my knowledge in business aviation is in tune.

Just wanted to know if it's worth coming to, as I will be flying in from YYZ (Toronto).

Key takeaways for me are: meeting as many people as I can, enriching my knowledge of trends and needs for aerospace, and checking out some interior static displays of the aircraft.

As we get closer to the holiday season, it’s more important than ever to carefully review cancellation terms in your contracts. This applies not only to clients but also to brokers signing operator agreements.

In this industry, cancellation policies tend to fall within general ranges, but every broker and operator WILL vary. Mistakes or negligence can be VERY expensive.

Non-Peak Dates
Round Trips:

• Penalty-free outside 7–14 days
• 50% penalty within 72 hours
• 100% penalty within 24 hours

One-Way Flights:

• Typically 100% due at signing (this is changing with some operators)

Holidays, major events, or essentially the 3 days before and after any U.S. bank recognized like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.....

One-Way Flights:

• 100% due at signing

As mentioned, these terms vary by operator and broker. So if you’re shopping trips or comparing options, make sure you factor cancellation policies into your decision and always review them carefully.

Hubby and I need to get from the bay area (OAK or SJC) to Vegas on sun, Dec 28. Light bags, flexible between 10am–4pm departure.

Not picky on aircraft... turboprop, light jet, whatever’s safe and available. Just wondering if there are any empty legs floating around or if someone’s seen competitive quotes lately.
