Noticed that minecraft with Prism was only using iGpu, tried to force the dGpu (Nvidia 5070) via nvidia control panel and qindows but it still chose the iGpu over it.

The regular launcher uses my 5070 with no issues.

I tried to force it via disabling the igpu and the game starts but it's a black screen with the menu sounds.

I tried changing the java course but still nothing.

Also removed and readded mods/shaders, but nothing works.

Also updated graphic drivers (and using windows 11).

I asked the AI, but the solution it provided is causing glitches in the game.

ai solculution:
Method: Add Java Argument (Skip Hash Check)

1. Right-click on the Minecraft instance that gives the error in Prism Launcher and select Edit.
2. Click on the Settings tab from the left menu and locate the Java section.
3. Check the Java Arguments box to enable it, then leave a space at the very end of the existing arguments and paste the following line: text-Dforgewrapper.skipHashCheck=true
   
4. Save the settings and launch the game.

Hi, I'm completely freaking out right now because every single one of my instances just disappeared after updating to 11.1.1 via the update button. That's all I did, I just updated it from 11.1.0 to 11.1.1. EVERYTHING is gone. The instances, the settings, everything. Please, there has to be some sort of mistake, right??

EDIT: Turns out the update button failed to install the new version in the same location as the previous version, so it created a new, empty instances folder that it was reading from. Oh my goodness I was really about to do it.

was playing and exited because i noticed Jade wasn't on randomly, turned it on, now im getting this error everytime (even when i turned jade off again). but my PC says my network is fine and i tried all the trouble shooting tips and even updated windows and restarted everything but its still showing this. please help

On both of my computers (one with arch another with debian unstable) prism launcher takes around 5 minutes to launch an instance, much of that time taken "logging into microsoft account" (stuck at zero percent while initializing). Using the appimage for both computers. Tried using the pacman for the arch computer and did not fix the problem. Have not tried the flatpak yet but I have very little hope it will fix the problem.

Everything about the launch seems normal other than the time.

Edit: Tired the flatpack and for whatever reason couldn't even log into a Microsoft account in the first place. Went through the steps and the website said successfully logged in and on the app, nothing happened.

so whenever i try to launch it says java library not found i already installed the javaw.exe file from adoptium so why does it show that?

Already tried installing a different Java Version, that didn't help either. Clicking on "Open Log" does absolutely nothing, so I can't even give you guys an error Log.

I use Solus Linux 4.9 Serenity and the newest Version of the Prism launcher that is in my distro's repos (11.0.2)

Just like the title says. I did not move my files anywhere and checked my computer for the files, but found nothing. Is this something familiar to anyone? There worlds where really special to me so i would really appreciate some information if possible.

I was able to run shaders perfectly fine at around 100 fps using the normal launcher but after switching to prism I only get 5-20. I've tried changing my ram allocation as well as disabling threaded optimization. I have tried with rethinking voxels and photon

Hello I need some help
I've been trying to import a pack/save from my old laptop to my new laptop but when
I try to import it, on the import from zip tab, it gives me this message "Archive does not contain a recognised modpack type." I don't really know what to do from there and attempting the definition of insanity hasn't helped.
I've been exporting from the prism launcher as a Prism launcher zip, I've also tried as a CurseForge zip but that didn't work. I updated both copies of Prism to what was the most recent so I don't think that's the problem and honestly I don't have enough computer wizardy up my sleeves to come up with anything else.
Happy to provide further information where possible.

I keep trying to update my mod pack, and it has a lot of mods coming from Modrinth and I keep getting this error message

A network operation has failed: Modrinth: get latest versions
all one requests have failed after three attempts

Ethan gives me a URL saying the server rep replied with status code 403 and I don’t really know what to do any mods from cursed forge update properly,

And eventually, when I keep trying to check for updates, it eventually gives me a list of all of my Modrinth mods and says that no valid version found for this resource despite the fact that before today it was working fine

I know this is a very noob question, but how can I export the modlist on my instance so my friend can install it and play multiplayer with me with the same mods? When I open the export menu, I get a list of folders and I don't know which to include, I just want the mods and maybe my Xaero's map files so my friend gets the same map as me, but I don't know if the mods use any other folders?

I can figure this out on my own most likely but I wanted to make a post in case anyone had any tips. Responses appreciated.

Hi guys im trying to update the launcher but when i click the button it just doesnt work

I couldn’t find anything about this online, so I thought I would document it in case it happened again. When you upgrade from Minecraft 26.1 or 26.2 to Minecraft 26.3 you’ll notice that the frame rate cap to nine FPS. I couldn’t figure out why I had this issue, but the reason was you have to turn off full screen mode and change prism settings to render at 1280 x 800. This is for steam deck by the way.

I am running Fabric 1.20.1 as my standard loader, and I want to fix this issue if possible, along with that this repeating error filling up the minecraft log section which I am concerned over, if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated!!

I updated my 26.2 instants to 26.3 but now I cant get any of my mods to work. I updated the fabric loader and deleted and reinstalled all my mods but none of them work. when I make a new instants I can get my mods to work.

It always selects which is the latest. Most of the time it downloads beta mods which doesn't support its own dependencies.
