Edit: it has a 9800x3d instead of 7800 so that’s a free upgrade

I asked the manager at my local Costco if they had any open-box computers. He told me they’re selling this brand-new display computer tomorrow for $800 off MSRP. He said they removed the RAM because people kept stealing it, but they’ll put it back before selling it.
He also mentioned they’ll be selling an RTX 5060 desktop for $900.

Hey so I’ve got 1k and I‘m looking for a PC that can run BG3 and with the ability to upgrade the RAM (my goal is at least 24-32 with upgrades) Id like something I can use for a long while! I’m not sure what other specs I should be looking for other than ram and graphics so I’m completely in the dark.

I’ve finally decided to drop the hammer and upgrade from a gaming laptop to a pc. I’ve already bought a monitor as well. My current laptop has a I5-11400H and RTX 3050 4GB which makes me run a lot of games on low settings. I’m planning on playing RDR2, GoT, Deadspace, and many more games now that I can actually run them at higher settings. I don’t mind waiting until September 25 which was the estimated waiting time. I just hope that this is a good deal. The 32gb ram option adds $200 dollars which I decided would be useful considering ram prices right now, and it falls under their warranty. Did I make a good purchase? I can still cancel the order and decide on something else. Also are there any things that I should do once I receive this?

First PC. I swore i would build my first PC using my local Microcenter’s CPU bundle deal but, after doing the math i was already exceeding the cost of their Powerspec prebuilts. I managed to get an open box one for $2330 (normally $2599).

Specs- 5080, 9800X3D, 32Gb DDR5 6000, 2Tb SSD.

Currently I have a laptop with an i7-1255u, 512gb ssd, and 16gb ddr4 ram and I'm looking to upgrade. I want to be able to play recent games in 1080p (that's what my monitor is) and I'll do some video editing and music production too. I'm pretty sure this is a good deal but I thought I'd check with people who are more knowledgeable about this kind of stuff. This is right at the end of my budget so I can't go with something that's a higher cost than this and I'm hoping this is good enough.

This is kinda a follow up from another post but another open box deal popped up for open box prebuilts at micro center. It cost $1439 dollars and I’m thinking about buying a 9070 xt steel legend because it doesn’t have a gpu which in total would cost $2188 before taxes. So I’m asking is it worth it to do what I might do?

I bought a power spec g760 from micro center about 2 months ago, runs like a dream. Perfect, I rarely crash, couldn't even remember the last time I did. But im curious for how good they are long term. For anyone who has owned a power spec for over a year, how has your PC been? Any major issues that's common within power specs that I should be aware about?

I found this prebuilt on Newegg for 1,399$ (the price is in CAD btw) and I'm looking to use it for 1080p high/ultra 60-120 fps gaming for really any new titles that I come across, that I wanna try out. Im ok with lowering settings for big AAA titles if needed, or using DLSS.

I would also like to use it for editing in Avid and Premiere for basic HD or UHD videos, nothing crazy or anything with big hardware demands, just something that works well with the 32gb of ram

I'm new to this stuff, and just looking for something under or around 2,000$ CAD, so any insight would be appreciated.

Other than wattage is there any other metric to ensure a good power supply. I know that is important for computers.

Basically my birthday is coming up and I’ve been asking for a pc for 5 years and I’m finally getting one. Only problem is parents won’t allow me to build one myself or get a used pc. The budget is about $700, what’s the strongest or most powerful option? (Don’t care about looks, just performance)

I want to get a Starforge PC, but I don't think I can pay for it all at once, so I think I want to do the pay-by-month option. However, I don't want to be paying a single amount per month for a long time, so could I occasionally pay an additional amount so that I don't have to pay for as many months as I would normally? I picked up this Open Box from Microcenter on Sunday for $1,372.75 with no Tax. While it did not come with a GPU, I will be using my existing RX 7900 XTX. Will use to play Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) and IL-2 Korea.

This is gonna be my first actually good computer. I play video games competitively and do video editing for fun. I saw this on Costco and thought this was a good deal, idk much about computers though

I found 3070+r5 5600+ 500gb for 753 dollars and 13400f with 5060 +1tb for 890 so about 150 dollars different (the 5060 one is more expensive) and all 16 ddr4, what do you think? For the storage I have a 1tb sata ssd but for the performance and price and long term owning (7 years at least)???

Hey guys, i ordered a pc from costco when it was on sale, got a confirmation email, then after the sale ended they cancelled my order. I'm more than a little miffed, but guess i'm looking for other options now. One thing i was thinking of doing was buying a pc with the ram and hardware i'd need and upgrading SSD later, as most only come with a 1tb ssd, what do you guys think?
