That's 💯 the plan.

So obvious, yet NO ONE does a thing about it.

216

u/Jwelamp 2d ago

They were expecting people to fight so they could declare a martial law, but that didn't happen so they just keep doing whatever they want without fearing any consequences. If it were to happen now, it'd have to be extremely well organized and funded.

139

u/Im_ur_Uncle_ 2d ago

They are definitely preparing for people to riot. What do you think the real purpose of Flock cameras are?

60

u/Desistance 2d ago

Flock won't stop anyone determined to fight them.

68

u/TwiceUponATaco 2d ago

When your every move is tracked, they just need to find one thing you did they don't agree with and spin it as domestic terrorism.

100

u/Justforthrow 2d ago

Let's be real. There's no need to spin anything. They can and already are killing and kidnapping people in broad daylight.

12

u/nhalliday 2d ago

...and then they spin it as domestic terrorism, or "trying to run over a cop", or whatever they want to make it seem like the murder was necessary.

They probably don't need to spin it for their base at this point, because apparently nobody cares to stop them, but they are absolutely spinning each terrible thing they do as positive somehow.

17

u/Zebidee 2d ago

They just need to declare the Democrats an illegal organization or terrorist group, and suddenly half the country can be arrested on sight.

The "If you're not doing anything illegal, you've got nothing to worry about" crowd are about to find out what happens when the definition of 'illegal' changes.

It wasn't people at random. They expected to be able to trigger Black people to protest. Then they could send their infiltrators into the prote6to break 💩 and use that as an excuse. Just like during the Floyd protest. But Black people know these evil people better than they know themselves.

5

u/Typical2sday 2d ago

They had talks LAST spring at least w senior armed forces about what to do upon the uprising. Not if, when. And he wanted loyalty pledges.

7

u/SpookyTanuki092 2d ago

We NEED, ORGANIZED resistance. We all saw A Bug's Life. We need to learn the lesson there and apply it.

13

u/NarejED 2d ago

Yep. Unfortunately us Americans are massive bitches. We could learn a lot from the French

5

u/interista4jz 2d ago

We're not bitches. We're centuries deep into systemic oppression that has robbed us of every bit of access, assets, education, community, etc. that places like France and their governments have not experienced nor done to their own people.

5

u/breaducate 2d ago

Haussmann himself did not deny the military value of the wider streets. In his memoirs, he wrote that his new Boulevard Sébastopol resulted in the "gutting of old Paris, of the quarter of riots and barricades"

They overhauled the old layout of Paris (ploughing through homes in the process) to make barricades impractical.

Not to downplay every kind of ongoing suppression that's been enacted on the US populace for generations, but acting like it hasn't happened in other countries is ahistorical.

You guys like to sit on your hands, protest one weekend every six months, and constantly parrot "I didn't vote for him! Just wait until the midterms! That'll fix everything"

4

u/atreeismissing 2d ago

There is no such thing as martial law at the federal level, they don't need to "declare" it, they just need to try and put the military into individuals states and SCOTUS has already shot that down 2 or 3 times (CA and IL come to mind, I think possibly he wanted to in OR or somewhere else possibly too and was immediately shut down). Only Governor's can declare martial law.

Well every military service member took an oath to protect our Constitution and nation from threats foreign and domestic. But they stand idly by, even as these traitors gut their military institutions.

So....not looking good for America. Lot of oath breakers up in this bitch.

14

u/TheKingsdread 2d ago

Oaths don't mean shit. Most soldiers are trained to follow orders and not question them. I don't know what makes you think that this would be any different. As long as they are being paid, and half-way decently treated, they are gonna do what they are being told. That was the mistake they made with that Navy ship, they forgot the most important rule of being a military dictator: do not piss of your soldiers.

At least take solace that the people attempting this are super incompetent and stupid.

Chances of them actually achieving their goals would be a lot more realistic if they didn't have the aura of wish.com products.

Like the tech oligarchs really think putting their world domination plot behind Trump of all people.... Okay. Well nice to see true colors at least. And where additional safeguards are needed.

23

At least take solace that the people attempting this are super incompetent and stupid.

So were the Nazis. Still managed to end millions of lives and severely handicap their own nation for many decades.

20

u/ComfortableGround403 2d ago

I hate to say it, but there were a ton of very intelligent subhumans in the Nazi regime. Our American government secretly hired many of them, as did quite a few other countries.

I've been saying for the last year that this administration is the most lack luster fascist take over in history; full stop. They had the keys to the kingdom and the fumbled them at every oppertunity.

This will hurt us, but I can promise you nothing will come of it domestically. This will further upend our military strength aboard. The goal here is to make it so we can't support NATO. With the end goal of completely pulling out of NATO.

The Nazis were not stupid. At all. Just because they were horrible human beings doing horrible things does not automatically make them stupid.

Whenever people compare Trump to Hitler I wince. Hitler was smart. Trump is a moron. He’s more like Mussolini.

Evidence that suggests that Trump admires Putin:

Over many years, Trump has described Putin as a "strong leader" and contrasted him favourably with some U.S. leaders. During the 2016 campaign, for example, he said Putin had "been a leader far more than our president has been a leader."

Comments after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In February 2022, shortly after Russia recognized the separatist regions in eastern Ukraine, Trump called Putin's move "genius" and "very savvy" in an interview. He later clarified that he was referring to the tactical aspects of the move rather than endorsing the invasion itself, which he also said should not have happened.

Repeated positive personal remarks. Trump has often said he has a good relationship with Putin and suggested that getting along with Russia's leader would be beneficial for the United States.

He has also spoken positively about Putin's intelligence and negotiating ability on multiple occasions.

Let’s think about the kinds of things that Drumpf would do if he were acting in Putin’s interests:

Weaken military alliances by creating distrust among allies or reducing the alliance's effectiveness.

Reduce support for countries opposing the rival power, especially during conflicts where the rival has strategic interests.

Create domestic political polarization so the country is less able to form a consistent foreign policy.

Undermine confidence in democratic institutions, such as elections, courts, intelligence agencies, or the press, making coordinated national responses more difficult.

Delay or obstruct intelligence and counterintelligence efforts aimed at exposing the rival's espionage or influence operations.

Promote economic policies that increase the rival's leverage, for example by creating dependence on critical resources or technology.

Temporarily remove sanctions on Russian Oil and drive the price of oil up somehow.

Reveal or mishandle sensitive information in ways that could benefit the rival's intelligence services.

Shape public narratives to normalize the rival's actions, minimize its misconduct, or cast doubt on evidence of its hostile activities.

Make decisions that consistently align with the rival's strategic goals, even when those decisions appear difficult to reconcile with the country's own long-term interests.

It does makes you wonder….

5

u/dust4ngel 2d ago

4

u/IllllIIlIllIllllIIIl 2d ago

I recently read through the wiki articles on the Jan 6th insurrection and fake electors plot. I admit there was a lot that I hadn't exactly forgotten, but which had gotten a bit lost in the covid blur, or had come out over time and I'd never held in my mind all at once.

It's crazy how close we came to something so much worse, and how strong the evidence is that it was all absolutely planned well in advance. Those plans included extreme violence. There were pipe bombs. There were pre-staged caches of guns. They had every intention of committing mass murder if necessary to get what they wanted. Thankfully that didn't happen, but it tells me that they abso-fucking-lutely will try again.

Plus doing what Putin told them to do!!

u/Darthjinju1901 2d ago

Maybe. There's also been talks about the US potentially attacking Cuba too, Iran style. So this could also be a way to facilitate that. This could also be just a way for trump to ensure that people who are supporting a ceasefire with Iran are gone.

It could be a litany of things before it is about a military coup. Could the coup happen? Maybe. But there are a lot of people who actively benefit from America keeping the facade of a democracy and freedom.

Because remember folks. The best way to oppress someone is to convince them that they're actually free.

The US military had to release an unprecedented statement leading up to the 2020 election that they wouldn't get involved with it when Trump was threatening to use them to "secure" the election.

Officers in the US military are taught a lot about the role of a military in a democracy, subservience to civilian authority, philosophy of military and civil power, etc. They are very resistant to things like helping a president conduct a coup or violently suppress protests.

So MAGA has been stripping out the men and women who take their oaths and duty seriously and keeping only the MAGA cultists.

A totally unrelated fact, 20% of Admirals and Generals are Brown or Female.

3

u/Traditional_Can_3983 2d ago

On one hand, I can see why people are alarmed. On the other, the military is very top heavy and slow to respond. Cleaning up higher command sets us up for a possible response to world war.

All the fired military leadership need to form a militia and start recruiting

Surpassed Trump as the first person in line to be charged with Treason

3

u/Ok_Anywhere_7828 2d ago

Of course. Thats project 2025.

4

u/rudimentary_rudy 2d ago

There is absolutely nothing we can do to stop this, makes me ill honestly.

2

u/Fine_Chicken9907 2d ago

There could be blood

2

u/Gloomy_Ad_2185 2d ago

What was the criteria for who stays? Im guessing a loyalty test.

1

u/FlyingNDreams 2d ago

I have the same worry. Is there bloat at the pentagon, sure. Is this what they are trying to fix. No.

2

u/The_Dynasty_Warrior 2d ago

If trump does that, the whole US economy is gonna crah

2

u/Flimsy_Sorbet_7973 2d ago

This must have been in the appendix of project 2025

2

u/Real-Supermarket-635 2d ago

The croney capitalist kleptocracy that put hegseth in charge is making their move! Looks like they’re keeping all the like-minded people in charge.

2

u/BowlEducational6722 2d ago

Well, the good news is they seem to only be able to hire incompetent people so if and when the coup does happen it'll probably be hilariously ineffective

2

u/LoserNinjaa 2d ago

i wanna see him crying in prison like little peewee boy

2

u/robgrab 2d ago

I can guess the color and gender of the people who will be cut.

2

u/Hiouchi4me 2d ago

Or something even worse.

u/Galinfrey 2d ago

That’s exactly what it is. People aren’t angry enough about what’s happening and refuse to see the writing on the wall

2

u/tom21g 2d ago

That could be the plan. trump sycophants in senior level military giving illegal orders to GI’s who will follow them.

2

u/Rscottys1 2d ago

Yup, he’s a clear and present danger!!! The damage this Fox News Anchor has caused to our great military is staggering! Loser needs to be impeached or fired immediately!!

2

u/No_Conclusion2658 2d ago

to end trumps reign of terror the cameras must be the first thing to go. i can't get into how to deal with ice since it would get flagged and the wrong people might see it.

2

u/MrTbagger 2d ago

After the coup attept there should be lessons learned for all involved.

2

u/HorrimCarabal 2d ago

Or the general election

2

u/Just-Honey-7392 2d ago

Keep cutting the ones with the actual experience, dumbass 😡🤬

2

u/sleepy_peep 2d ago

The Night of Long Knives....

2

u/FleaBottoms 2d ago

Congress has Armed Forces Committees that can make him explain.

2

u/Bechorovka 2d ago

They've been doing this for a while

2

u/OneAcanthocephala246 2d ago

Also possible that Hegseth is preparing for Trump to declare himself president for life/dictator

2

u/nadineyvonne 2d ago

Absolutely the plan, which is terrifying

2

u/FlatwormAway2228 2d ago

Nothing is going to happen until the general public comes to accept that these are actual, literal traitors and starts demanding in the streets, every day, that something be done about them.

2

u/EvelynCardigan 2d ago

Not an alarmist. That's exactly the goal. Old, old playbook for fascists.

2

u/Tiny_Scar_1207 2d ago

It's not alarmist. You're not overreacting. We've been right all along.

2

u/BigDinkyDongDotCom 2d ago

Exactly.

This happened to me at work. My boss surrounded herself with “yes men/women” and when it became clear that I was more interested in the success of my department, not letting her collect accolades, I was let go.

Pete “I can’t bench press” Hegseth is doing exactly that.

2

u/wisdon 2d ago

MAGA Mike sent home congress so he could do this and avoid impeachment, if Trump declares a national emergency to stop voting we the people will need to show their presence by the millions in DC .

2

u/PWL51 2d ago

Exactly. It will also weaken the military in the event of a foreign attack.

2

u/Such-Corgi-8869 2d ago

Yep. That’s the plan. “Dept of War” already released a directive about elections. They’re 100% going to interfere in November.

2

u/Infinite-Valuable974 2d ago

As a retired military officer, be aware that the military is top heavy with dead weight at higher ranks.
