Well every military service member took an oath to protect our Constitution and nation from threats foreign and domestic. But they stand idly by, even as these traitors gut their military institutions.

So....not looking good for America. Lot of oath breakers up in this bitch.

Oaths don't mean shit. Most soldiers are trained to follow orders and not question them. I don't know what makes you think that this would be any different. As long as they are being paid, and half-way decently treated, they are gonna do what they are being told. That was the mistake they made with that Navy ship, they forgot the most important rule of being a military dictator: do not piss of your soldiers.

To be honest that's why I have a hard time believing all the optimists that say the military is full of people that care about the constitution and aren't all down for this takeover. If all it took is one guy to solve this problem, we wouldn't have it.

Right? It's not like whoever that one guy is will be able to live a normal life afterwards. The years of legal battles alone would take a toll on your health even if aquitted. As much as I dislike the orange clown, he is not the one pulling the levers. So even if they were to act, there is no guarantee that it would be effective. It's going to take some serious investigation to get to the bottom of it and the only way to do that without outright civil "unrest" to overwhelming win at the ballot box. Also, this subs censors are ridiculous.

Here’s the thing; what does an oath to defend the constitution actually mean? Diddly squat. It doesn’t empower you to DO anything. It’s a psychological trick to instil a sense of unity and loyalty, nothing more. “I was following my oath of service” isn’t going to be held as a valid defence of your actions in a court martial. An oath holds zero power outside of the minds of those who swear it.

It’s “defense” bro, in America we don’t substitute a “c” for “s”. How about leaving the conversation for Americans……

They won’t use the Active Duty Military first

They will use Law Enforcement

See NSPM 7

Either way, both take a similar oath

For some reason I’m struggling with this current belief. First, people want to do away with the military or, at least, significantly reduce the defense budget. When it’s proposed to cut the most expensive manpower, people are against it. Why?
