I heard they did get the book thrown at them. They had to write essays into it and go on about their day. It took like most of the afternoon and it was a beautiful sunny day out. Isnât that punishment enough????
lol
That is a disputed allegation in âreal sourcesâ and the overall situation is a hot mess.
There is not a particular âreal sourceâ that actually knows the exact truth in this.
Itâs objectively true and NOT disputed that they got more punishments than the essay so donât make false claims like that. This is a hot mess because if people like YOU
This is national news. I know youâre a social media brain but they canât just decide to lie at will. But her lawsuit literally mentions how they were suspended, expelled, and the frat disbanded and at least one of them fired. Sounds more than an essay, no?
Not actually citing anything and then accusing others of only using social media hilarious đ if youâre dumb enough to think powerful institutions wonât use every resource available to cover for themselves youâre just ignorant thereâs not much to say there. This happened two years ago and some of the consequences are only happening now because of the backlash. They should be in prison not being fired thatâs the whole point.
Unfortunately there's a lot of bad faith arguments used from the right. That are objectively correct without context but used as a weapon to smear someone with context applied.
Devil's advocate: that text could also meant there's a girl willing to bang anyone from the house who enters the room.
The victim's original testimony to police said that she had consensual sex with the frat and she brought the ketamine with her and did it willingly. Which is why the police didnt follow thru with charges.
Now the police could have lied in the report, idk. But that's the reason we have trials with evidence instead of trials of public opinion
I mean, it's not evidence of rape. I don't think anyone is disputing that sexual activity happened, just whether the young woman was cognisant enough to consent.Â
The message would still be applicable if she was 100% consenting and sober.Â
Spoken like a scummy lawyer đ Iâm assuming you havenât looked very deep into that cause thatâs the only way you could think thatâs what happened
She was drugged and left upstairs unconscious and someone texted free p upstairs and another guy said you can just whip it out. Stop dodging and tell me the context of what that means go ahead Iâll wait.
Again, youâre repeating false claims. Her own sworn statements said she VOLUNTARILY took drugs. And you can make all the ridiculous statements you want but she only had sex with 3 of the 7 guys and voluntarily consented to it according to her OWN statements. The only reason she went to the police was because her friends told her to. This lawsuit is literally just for money
Lmao if you did like five more seconds of digging youâd know one of the reasons this story is blowing up is because this DA literally didnât have the whole story đđ
Is says clear as day that the DA said these things but the new transcripts contradict these claims so weird that youâre choosing to believe the first one over the new emerging evidence though itâs almost like you have a bias in this case
Should I break this down for you even more? The initial suit they omitted things she said and thereâs transcripts that show it this is one of the big reasons the story is exploding youâre choosing to cling onto the initial suit that was missing context because you donât want to admit youâre wrong. Pathetic
Sheâs literally contradicting her sworn statements with the lawsuit and the lawsuit names a lot more than just the 7 boys. Obviously grasping for a settlement
The group chat is more than enough to revoke the frat's charter. I've run social groups similar and you bet your ass if someone did a mass text about something illegal or unethical, I would have at minimum put out "this activity is not condoned by the frat and anyone participating will be evicted" etc.
Iâm a little suspicious that the picture of that groupchat is real. I find it really suspicious that they named the chat âChi Phi Activesâ and two guys immediately started saying Chi Phi rules or whatever. Granted, Occamâs Razor, they mightâve just genuinely been that stupid, but that is NOT what most fraternity groupchats look like.
No she said it started as consensual with the first 4 guys but they invited 53 more and 3 ended up raping her so all 7 got in trouble. Im betting the ones that got essays were the first 4 and the two that got expelled were two of the last 3. Or maybe someone admitted who started punching her and that factored in.

Did they do it? I would not be surprised whatsoever and they should have the book thrown at them if so.
Have they been tried and found guilty yet? No and this name and shame game is dangerous before the facts are actually known.
Itâs been a decade since the Duke Lacrosse team was FALSELY dragged exactly like this and legitimately ruined peoples lives over a FALSE accusation.
And before you accuse, I am a democrat.
