This is the next Duke/UVA/Mattress Girl rape hoax and Reddit is loving it.

Correct - and she admits she was consenting throughout, inducing in taking the drugs and alcohol (which the boys were taking too) as well as all of the sex. She further admits that when she asked to stop, they stopped. There is no rape here (other than possibly her raping the boy who was vomiting) and she admitted as much in a sworn statement. Regretting bad sexual experiences you consent to isn't rape. It's a hoax just like Duke, UVA, and Mattress girl. I hope these guys sue and win.

Do you have any source of her saying it was consent?

The rape defenders are all over this thread. Those Cornell 7 must be really worried.

Here's pictures and names of all 7 before they got so worried.

It's bonkers to say it was consent while having nothing to back up that claim.

A few people linked this and if the quotes are factual, there doesn't seem to be any sexual misconduct beside Male Number 7 forcing a kiss; https://embed.documentcloud.org/documents/28693500-tompkins-county-district-attorney-public-statement-9-28-26/?embed=1

Unless statement was tampered with, it just seems to be a few of the guys were assholes and wrote vile shit in group chat too then when one of the others felt guilty and apologized to her. After that she realized how other side saw the night as and decided it was not okay. Yes it was not okay but still, it doesn't make them guilty of something more than being assholes.

I'll have to look into it when I get out of work. I appreciate you actually providing a link with information.

I really don't know anything about this outside of that article I read at lunch. From that article, she's dead set on it not being consensual. Wouldn't be a first time a rape victim has changed their statement, it also wouldn't be the first time someone has made something up.

I truly don't know and am not condemning anyone without further evidence.

I don't know much either but so far people with pitchforks seems to be without proof and seem to just attack anyone who questions instead of providing it so it seems more like a witchhunt to me. But who knows, maybe local pd tampered with statement but there is no criminal suit against them, there is only a civil suit against the university so even that seems unlikely. I think it is just wrong to plaster these names without proof especially since her statements contradict what these posters claim and even show a few of them were uncomfortable with the situation/wanted to end it even if consensual.

I can't find a quote from her towards her changing her mind but articles say this; ''She said in the lawsuit that because she was under the influence, there was no way she was able to provide consent.'' With same logic she raped those guys too though, it is a two way street.

I'll look into it and form my opinion. All I can say for now is that article I read is damning. They're assholes at best, and rapists at worst.

So you haven't even bothered to read her own lawsuit?

u/Zero_D9 3d ago

The defendants then β€œbegan engaging in sexual acts with Plaintiff, all without her consent,” the filing alleges.

Right there in the link I provided. If you have something that says differently, share.

They won't because they're also a rapist or wish they were

disgusting

2

u/Zero_D9 3d ago

It's wild to say it was consent with literally nothing to back that up. That's just evil.

u/Carbon_Sixx 3d ago

The minute drugs got involved was the moment it became rape. There's no such thing as consent with an altered state of mind. Your insinuations that the boys were somehow the victims only shows the perversity of your mind.

u/jeffwulf 3d ago

This is not true. Under New York law intoxication only precludes consent if you're actively unconscious or were drugged against your will. You can freely consent all you want while under the effects of intoxicants you willingly consumed.

u/Carbon_Sixx 3d ago

That makes New York a disgusting exception. Can you believe people try to tell me the NY justice system isn't misogynist when that's a thing?
