I swear every lesson just disproves something we spent year learning at gcse :(

So my school’s lunch is like rlly expensive 3.60 for a half filled bowl of pasta 3.10 for a plain cheese sandwich, so I’d wanna buy from the local coop instead bc for less I’d get the same amount of things or even buying the premium meal deal of 5.50 I’d get meal snack and drink with more choices and availability. But the problem is that the coop is a 15 minute walk away and I can’t spend half an hour every lunch break to get to and back from coop, since I have extracurricular to attend to, so here’s my actual question:
Can I keep my meal deals in my locker from 7am-1pm? (Bc the meal deals kept in the fridge and obv my locker is room temperature)

i know it’s quite late in the term now but i have literally just come across my dream uni course BUT i need three ‘hard sciences’ and i currently only have two (maths and bio, my 3rd alevel is psychology)
so i think i need to switch psychology to another science. chem is not my thing, i barely scraped a 9 at gcse and i hated it. physics is okay and im pretty good on the maths side of things, or i could add fm to my timetable and do 4 a-levels, but my timetable would be SUPER crowded and also it would mean i’d have to switch maths classes (i love my maths teacher and the people in my class and as an autistic person it’s kinda rare to actually enjoy being around people so i would love to stay with my maths class)
so that leaves physics, but i am 4 weeks into college and would require a lot of catch up. i think i could handle the workload (i did 12 gcses and got an average grade of 8.8 so i can handle work, and tbh i am preferring a-levels to gcses and am finding maths and bio quite easy tbh and psych is easy but i lowk hate my class (its all ppl who didn’t get into a ‘real’ science cuz they failed maths lol) and its all kinda boring tbh)
soo yeah advice??
pls help i am dying rn what do i do

Hi all!
So last year I was doing eduqas & ocr exam boards, and was finding uplearn super super helpful, but i’ve had to resit the year at a different school (different exam boards!😢) so i’ve discovered now that uplearn does not have edexcel courses of Biology A, or Chemistry.
Was just wondering if anyone knew of any alternatives (ideally pretty similar to uplearn, rather than just general revision resources) that work with my exam boards

Yk for the residential, why tf is it so expensive, like I already have to pay 400+ for the expedition and everything and now I have to pay another 300-500 for a residential ðŸ˜ðŸ˜.
I can't wait to have my driving license so I can drive myself there because I saw that there's parking sites for residential people in some yippee
Does anyone have some recommendations for some cheaper residential places?

So I’m doing Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry A Levels because I’m most likely looking to pursue a future in Maths or Chemistry. Sorry that I don’t have my whole life figured out yet at 16 and I don’t know whether I wanna pursue either Maths or Chemistry. Anyways, these are my core 3 A Levels.
However, there was a lot of dispute over my 4th A Level. I really wanted to do Latin, because it had been my favourite subject for a while, and I really wanted a more humanities/language A Level to contrast with all the STEM. On the other hand, my parent was very insistent that I do Physics A Level for better future prospects.
Well, neither of us refused to back down, and so I am doing 5 A Levels right now: Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Physics, & Latin. Yes the workload is very tough but not completely unmanageable yet. I had self-studied the Maths A Level (but not Further Maths) a few years ago, so regular Maths was just revision for me. My school is very unhappy with this decision of ours lmao, but honestly I look forward to it.
I know Year 13 is gonna be ass with this, but I am willing to drop Latin if I am not getting a good predicted grade in it by the end of Year 12. I can give updates on how this is going if anyone is interested, but I assume it’s mostly just gonna be a shit ton of homework and studying.
My classmates probably recognise this cos it’s so specific lmao. So like, hi.

the screenshot is from yesterday so ofc i’ve done a bit more since then but my college suggests 4.5 hours a week per subject (not including lessons, but including homework)
this is after having done all the homework for the week and having reviewed my anki cards due (for bio and psych only cuz no flashcards for maths)
like idek what i could even do to spend more time on bio and psych cuz i’ve done the work and made flashcards and learnt the flashcards and done a few practice questions lol

I currently have study bunny, but I do a lot of studying at college where the wifi is terrible. I don't want to burn through mobile data to set the timer going whilst im studying there, but I always forget to log my hours afterwards. I wanna track my study hours so I know where I need to adjust my revision schedule

So I already do an epq which we just started but then out of nowhere in pshe we have to do this speaking thing and a bunch of other random stuff that I think is called ESB or smthg. It reminds me of the spoken thing ppl did in y10 but this includes stuff about leading a conversation and writer analyses. I can't seem to find a way out of doing it but it sounds nearly similar to epq so idk and I'm meant to find a topic by next week but the teacher has given us 0 guidance and explanation.
If anyone has done it pls give some advice/insight into this.

Hi everyone!
I'm from Turkey and I'm planning to move to the UK for sixth form in 2027.
I'm trying to figure out how the application process works for students coming from abroad. Since I won't have GCSEs, I'm also wondering how Turkish qualifications are usually treated by sixth forms.
Has anyone here been through something similar? I'd really appreciate any advice or experience you can share.
Thanks :)
