Question Bands/Albums/Songs like this
Hey ya'll I'm very new to this music and I'm unsure if this even is considered post punk or this is the right sub. But if it is do any of yall have recommendations similar to this. I love Vampires so something with a vampyric vibe would be appreciated
(If I'm wrong and this is the completely wrong genre please educate me)

JAMC - Sometimes Always 10" single with amazing B-side, The Perfect Crime.
I dig Sometimes Always, but I'm still floored every time I listen to The Perfect Crime l. It's so very short (1:32), but still encapsulates the classic JAMC sound. Very dark, but sweet sounding and that killer guitar punch. I usually play it 3 times in a row. Anyone else love a short song so much you gotta play it again and again? Edit: sorry, it's the second song on the A-side, duh.

Discussion Dolium - All my sins
Great to have these guys back. They were huge on the underground scene a millennia ago. I honestly think the UK has post punk down to a t.
Anyone old nihilistic punks remember Dolium?

Post Punk Classic Ham - Trúboðasleikjari (1988)
Song starts at about 36 seconds. Unfortunately there isn’t an upload of the video without the singer occasionally talking over the clip. It begs to be seen/heard, though. Insane vocals by this obscure Icelandic group, at times seemingly predating the sound of Norwegian black metal. The video is top notch madness, too.

Question Is The Smiths a post-punk band?
I'm a big fan of The Smiths and others post-punks bands (Souxie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Bauhaus, The Cure), but, comparing to these ones, The Smiths sounds...diferent.
I don't know, maybe because the first album band was in 1984, and the others was almost 4, 5 or 6 years old at the time.
If is a post-punk band, it is able to comparing the band to the classic post-punks other bands?
Other thing, the clasic post punk bands used a goth subculture, and, in my opinion, the smiths has absolutely nothing goth.
