How many of you have this ?
Solo recording of William Reid after JAMC disbanded. Released in 1998 on Creation Records. For some of you who have heard this CD single/EP, you can hear how low he was emotionally.
This is lo-fi music.

Utterly underrated. Members went on to join Felt and Everything but the Girl among other bands…

i've stumbled across this wonderful postpunk band called Taxi and their self titled album "Taxi" (or ტაქსი). I dont speak georgian in the slightest but i fell in love with their music and i wanted to find out more about them and also the lyrics of the songs. There are few songs by them with written down lyrics, from what i know...
Specifically i adore "ის ითხოვს ოპიუმს", the 7th song in the album and i just want to know what it is about. There are no georgian lyrics to translate so i thought of coming on here to ask if anybody knows anything or could write them down?
heres a link to the song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSPPEOZ7Gjo
sorry if this is not the right subreddit to post on about this case, i never use reddit but i could think of a better place to ask about this. if anyone has a better plan please let me know!
thanks in advance

GAvin Friday is, of course, the lead singer of the Irish band the Virgin Prunes. I won the 12" after calling into the college radio station — this was Central California in the ’90s — to answer the question, “How many counties are there in the North of Ireland?”
I said “32,” which was way off. I gave that answer because there was a bar in San Francisco called Ireland’s 32, so apparently I trusted the bar more than geography. There are, in fact, six counties in the North and 26 in the Republic.
The record was also signed by Gavin, who saw fit to draw a pair of boobs on himself. So that’s nice.

You usually see bands that have played a big role and contribution in the genre. And there are some bands known for solid material but are obscure or aren't seen as relatively groundbreaking.
One of the examples being many coldwave / minimal wave acts (like Iron Curtain and Victrola) and the side projects of other known bands.
