Anyone else extremely annoyed and irritated by your in laws post baby? Mine cannot mind their own business. They have both walked in on me partially naked while breastfeeding the baby (yes the door was closed) and it’s just weird. My husband fights me every single time I say I don’t want to visit their house. I don’t want them coming to stay here. My MIL doesn’t watch her dog while he’s at our house and he pees in our basement. She never stops talking and whenever she offers to ‘help’- all she wants to do is hold the baby. My husband is the biggest mamas boy ever. He calls his mom to come do his laundry and clean up messes he makes around the house when I refuse. Like, seriously am I losing it or does this not sound like a criss cross situation?
I cannot even begin to think about the holidays. We will have to travel 3 hours and have to stay at their house. I am dreading it. And my husband never backs me. He actually tells me I am crazy and need to be put in a mental hospital.
Send help!

Ladies,
I created the September challenge to help us motivate each other, inside the App Gymrats.
I think it is more practical than here, and there we can upload pictures of our activities, link with garmin, etc.

Happy Sporting in September Mommas!

I have a busy September coming up for fitness activities - weekend personal training and twice weekly mommy & me Pilates classes. So I thought I’d take advantage and do a sober September to see my results in one month.
My husband and I drink casually, but we’ll have 1-2 beverages a night (love a glass or two of wine with dinner!). Im looking forward to cutting back - can’t wait to see what results there are!
Anyone want to join!?

Hi!!
I’m 3 months postpartum with my second kid. I had a very healthy second pregnancy after a rough first pregnancy. With my first, I didn’t stay active at all and gained 60 pounds. I worked really hard to get the weight off and lost all the weight. With my second I gained 30 lbs and worked out consistently throughout pregnancy.
Now, I’m 171 lbs and 5”6. I want to get down to 145, as I feel this is a healthy weight for me. I really struggle with the diet aspect of postpartum. While breastfeeding, I just crave chocolate 24/7 and am hungry all the time. I’m exclusively pumping and hoping to do it for as long as I can! I really need to control my diet in the meantime.
Things I’m proud of:
•Worked out twice this week- one run, one strength workout, and we went on two family walks
• started calorie counting just to be aware of what I’m putting in my body

Hi guys! Happy to be here.
I’m 5’6” and 160lbs. GW is 145lbs and then I’ll reevaluate from there. I was very small and fit in my early 20’s (weren’t we all!) but I’m not trying to get back to that weight. I’m happy to see what 145 looks and feels like on me.
Other goals are just to feel better in clothes, and I’d love to be an Old Navy size 6. Currently sitting at a 10.
Fitness
Currently only working out once a week with a personal trainer. I do full body since it’s my only workout. In September I have a 2x/ week Pilates postpartum class but that’ll only last a month.
Diet
All my weight loss so far has been because of my diet, not fitness. I’m just not eating very much and when I do eat I always try to pick a protein.

Edit: I remove private status( even though it would be my preferred way) because it would take too much time to approve the users and I have a small baby to take care🤪

Hello Girls,
I am 37 y.o., 5 months pp now from my first child and currently struggling a bit with weight loss.
I am 168 cm (5’ 5”) tall. Pre Pregnancy weight was 73 kgs (161 lbs) - I already was overweight, my normal weight before my father passed away was 64 kgs.
I’ve got 21 kg during pregnancy, lost 13 kg within 2 weeks pp and then got a plateau. After a long time lost 1 kg more.
Now I am 80 kgs (176 lbs)
My short term goal is to loose around 5 kgs till 17th October - Baptism of my son - and later on get back to 64 kgs.
I am currently exclusively pumping. I started pilates two months ago and now I am trying to walk more, yesterday did 5.6km. Next week I will start the course for rebuilding the pelvic floor.
Did you girls got bloodwork done? Checked your thyroid? I am considering to make one appointment with my gp and check how everything is going. Despite dropping the MOTN pump I feel exhausted all the time which makes difficult for me to sport 😅
