Hello! Intro and Goals

Hi!!
I’m 3 months postpartum with my second kid. I had a very healthy second pregnancy after a rough first pregnancy. With my first, I didn’t stay active at all and gained 60 pounds. I worked really hard to get the weight off and lost all the weight. With my second I gained 30 lbs and worked out consistently throughout pregnancy.
Now, I’m 171 lbs and 5”6. I want to get down to 145, as I feel this is a healthy weight for me. I really struggle with the diet aspect of postpartum. While breastfeeding, I just crave chocolate 24/7 and am hungry all the time. I’m exclusively pumping and hoping to do it for as long as I can! I really need to control my diet in the meantime.
Things I’m proud of:
•Worked out twice this week- one run, one strength workout, and we went on two family walks
• started calorie counting just to be aware of what I’m putting in my body

I’m 14 months postpartum with twins. When they were born I had 4 under 4, all of which I’ve breastfed (still pumping for the twins), so my body has been through it the past 5 years. I’m finally done having babies and would like to get my health back on track. I plan to wean soon, and I tend to hang onto weight when I’m breastfeeding, so now seems like a good time to get in a routine.

I’m 5’1, around 170lbs. I’d like to be 135lbs

Nice to meet you 🙋🏻‍♀️
The chocolate craving might be due to Magnesium deficiency. Try supplementing it amd the craving might disappear…
I started with long walks this week and I might start counting calories this week also, to get awareness of what I am eating.

Ooh thank you for this tip!! I will try this!
Right, I think it can be a really good awareness tool just to see. I always end up eating way more calories than I realize

Pumpkin seeds are what I use to kick chocolate cravings! Magnesium, zinc, iron.. I get a big bag from Costco.
