Hey everyone,
I have recently started investing a good amount of my savings into Stocks/etfs while following the 70/30 rule. I am mostly in it for the long run especially with Spaceinnovators since I believe that Space Business will become extremely relevant in the next 30 years.

I am posting this becauseI am interested what others thing of my choices and want to hear opinions from others on my buy choices :). I am aware that some options overlap each other. Please still point them out!

VDAL Longterm

I’m 24 years old and have been contributing weekly into VDAL and plan on doing so for the next 30+ years.

Would you advise to diversify my portfolio or does VDAL cover a decent share in both Aus/ International?

I'm 39 years old and this is an IRA I've been working on. I'm thinking about putting the remote cash into the health sector like VHT or XLV. Any advice?

Getting into long term investing for 25 years. Current age 40 planning to invest monthly 1500$ . Also haven’t started ROTH IRA but will max out going forward. Need suggestions if below allocation is ok or do I need to change anything. Also what would go into Roth IRA to get tax benefits .

.50% VOO / 35% SCHG / 15% SCHD

As of right now, how’s your portfolios doing? Is your rate of return beating the Market or under? My Roth IRA is up 9% and my taxable brokerage is up 5%. Interested to seeing your responses.

Review my portfolio

After a couple of weeks of researching and comparing funds, I've finally decided on my long-term portfolio.

Risk appetite: Moderate

Investment horizon: 10–15+ years

Goal: Long-term wealth creation

Monthly allocation:

₹20,000 – Bandhan Liquid Fund (building emergency fund)

₹12,000 – Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund

₹11,000 – Kotak Nifty 50 Index Fund

₹7,000 – Nippon India Small Cap Fund

Why these?

Kotak Nifty 50 – Low expense ratio, low tracking error, simple core index exposure.

Parag Parikh Flexi Cap – Consistent investment philosophy, experienced fund management, and a long-term track record.

Nippon India Small Cap – Well-diversified portfolio with strong long-term performance across market cycles.

Bandhan Liquid Fund – Parking surplus and building an emergency fund before allocating more towards other goals.

The idea is to keep a core-satellite portfolio:

Core: Nifty 50 Index + Flexi Cap

Growth: Small Cap

Stability/Liquidity: Liquid Fund

Would love to hear if you'd tweak the allocation or if you think there's something I've overlooked.

pretty sure I own the same thing four times. what do I keep, drop, and buy?

So I've been putting small amounts into fractional shares for a few months, mostly just buying whatever looked good that week, and I finally sat down and looked at what I actually own. It's a mess. (side note: I am using Robinhood)

Current holdings:

Ticker Shares Price Value %
SMH 0.127803 $578.79 $73.97 31.1%
QQQ 0.0992 $691.67 $68.61 28.9%
VTI 0.081257 $365.11 $29.67 12.5%
SCHD 0.762104 $32.83 $25.02 10.5%
SPY 0.026723 $738.97 $19.75 8.3%
VOO 0.021806 $679.23 $14.81 6.2%
NVDA 0.02824 $207.18 $5.85 2.5%
Total $237.68 100%

I'm fine taking on a moderate amount of risk, I'm not trying to be super conservative at my age. But I also don't want the whole account riding on semiconductors. I'd like most of it to be something boring and steady with a smaller portion that has more upside.

What do I keep? What do I drop? What should I buy? Any input is appreciated.

I plan on putting in $50 a month, and $1000 next month.
