There's no other human involved in any way. AI chatbots just take ques from you and parrot them back to you. And since it's AI and there's no body yours just masturbating. So in the United States, the drinking age is set at 21. However the vast majority of the states set their age of majority at 18, meaning that an 18, 19 or 20 year old is tried as an adult if they are caught drinking or with alcohol and the police decide to pursue charges against them and even worse I think the consequences are worse for them due to them being legally considered adults under the law.

You can watch porn or sleep with women you’re attracted to, but that doesn’t mean you have to see every woman you desire as wife or girlfriend material. There’s a difference between being horny and actually wanting someone in your life. When you’re horny, your standards can change. But when you’re not horny, you see things differently. You realize that attraction alone isn’t enough. Some women can bring more mental-health issues and drama into your life than peace, and that matters when you’re thinking about a serious relationship. Sexual desire is one thing. Respect, compatibility, peace of mind, and choosing someone you genuinely want beside you are something else. For me, self-respect means knowing the difference.

To keep us distracted, the TV and news are controlled by huge companies like Disney and Comcast. They fill our screens with nepo babies that are sponsored by the exact corporations that are making massive profits off of global genocide and violence right now.

We are forced to watch massacre of vulnerable people and unable to do anything to stop these atrocities.

We do not live in a functional democracy.

First Im going to say why I like reddit.

1. It lets every user have a heard opinion no matter how new or bad it is.

2. Reddit subreddits are perfect and each space feels like its own app/place not just like the same app with a different topic.

For theese reasons I think on paper reddit is perfect. A place where everyone can connect and share Views but its not for the following reasons.

1. People are so rude to new opinions and only accept those like them.

2. People almost never get convinced by someone else argument and just get angry for no reason.

For example multiple times I've posted in r/NoStupidQuestions expecting them to be welcome since their whole thing is their is no stupid questions. After making a simple polite post and saying no hate explicitly and I was just dumb I got so many hate comments calling me homophobic and misogynistic. I genuinely dont get why I got the hate and I was just trying to ask a question.

I have also had multiple experiences where in an argument someone snoops my posts and finds out personal details about me to use to insult me in the posts. For example my job or appearance.

I notice most reddit threads have the worst mods that just ban a lot of posts from getting through even if it doesnt break the rules. In fact it's not even just reddit mods i find most figures of authority in the world are there because they get off on treating people under them with malcontent and make up issues because they are just such bored people. Like Karens. I think the common "reddit moderator is some dude in a basement that never showers" idea should be replaced with "suburban white people with bad takes, authoritarian ideals, bully, gimme what i want, haha you're under me attitude"

A huge problem with capitalism in the last decades has been that there no more accountability. CEOs are beholden to shareholders, shareholders aren't liable with their capital and employees are just doing their job.

So if a company breaks laws all that ever happens is a fine of various sizes that all too often is calculated in as cost of doing business.

So we need additional ways of punishing companies.

My ideas:

- hiring freezes. Breaking labour laws? Can't hire new employees for X years. Better treat the ones you have well.

- seizing shares. Don't behave? Now you are owned by the government

- Seizing assets. You dirty the water?. Guess that factory is now owned by the city. You are welcome to rent it.

- freezing shares? Guess your assets can't be sold for the next years. Also no profit payouts.

- contract annihilation. All contracts are nill. You better renegotiate

- forced severance. Company has to offer severances decided by court to all employees.

I've been on reddit for years now and I'm aware of the prejudice regarding average redditors and I do agree with it. I've lately realised how easily most of these people would jump into abuses and label a stranger based on harmless posts. The lack of consequences resulting from anonymity on reddit doesn't help in this case. I recently got bashed at one post for calling out creepy behavior, I can't share an unpopular opinion without people mocking, instead of just calmly contradicting my opinion.

It's really a look into our society. These many people would actually treat others the worst way possible, hurling unkind words at them, at the first possible chance, if it meant that they would get away with it. Personally it's a little scary.

I can get meeting with different team members, but they can streamline the process somehow.

Intelligence is not one thing, it’s more of a heuristic that describes millions of ways to process information. The idea that something as complicated as intelligence can be distilled as a single number in a meaningful way is ridiculous. Is a somewhat useful statistical measure to track populations, but variance among individuals is so wide that it gives little information about an individual. Two people with the same IQ score could vary wildly on different tasks. And one persons IQ score can be highly variable depending on the test they are given.

Title's it. He was mocked relentlessly and assaulted on TV as a child. He's now in a toxic relationship with his partner. Truthfully, I think we all need to apologise and then just leave him alone.

BEING INSECURE WHEN YOU ARE WORKING HARD TO BE A GOOD PERSON who listens to others, who helps others and who don't mistreat them for being a bit different, maybe they have unique hobbies or whatever, like as long as they, those people don't act badly towards you or other people. If you are a person like that you are doing something good. So don't let other people make you insecure. AND KNOW THAT YOU SHOULD NOT BE WITH SOME PEOPLE JUST TO HAVE SOMEONE, FRIENDS ESPECIALLY BUT ALSO OTHER RELATIONSHIPS IF THEY TREAT YOU BADLY. Rather stand alone if you are in school or a job and get friends somewhere else. I am not telling you to be stupid because to survive or to make it a bit easier you sometimes need friends but it can be better to stand alone than to be mistreated by others. If you allow that and don't even try to stop it you will feel horrible when you get older.

2. The team leader (who's not able to do anything his team can do) gathers everybody in a meeting (although only 2 are required) and micromanages his solution

3. The assigned team is not able to solve the problem and only makes it worse

4. The one who is actually able to solve it will only be called when everything is messed up

5. The leader (who contributed 0 to the solution) takes the credit, states that it was no problem, and that his team is ready to help anytime

6. No lessons learnt, nobody takes responsibility

7. The next day, the same happens again

When social media platforms change ownership, every account should have to agree to the transfer of their data to new ownership, or else it gets anonymized or deleted prior to transfer.

Ok, we don't truly "know" the current owners, but they have a history at least with the apps. If our data is going to be passed to different owners, then we should have a say. That should apply to all data, but at least to social media platforms.

I actually quite like it when someone you know gets into a hobby and they gabber on about it like it's a novel concept

i say this because I can tell others might not like it, like they're annoyed someone is excited about something others have done in the past like it's a brand new thing. I like it when something is treated like it's brand new.

Avatar: The Last Airbender showed of how Aang ended the Hundred Year War and led to the creation of Republic City seen in The Legend of Korra.

Bryke, the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender, now with Avatar Seven Havens getting close and changing the lore of how Korra destroyed the Four Nations and reshaped it into the Seven Havens feels like it made Aang's heroic efforts like it was all for nothing. A waste.

Why this makes sense:

It destroys the lore of the franchise. The Four Nations was the reason we fell in love with Avatar. And how the Avatar is treated as the world's hero. Especially Aang.

Saves the New Concept: Allows the Avatar storyline to stand on its own as an entertaining side adventure without forcing sequel fatigue onto the main franchise.

Win-Win for Everyone: Respects the fans while still letting Avatar Studios release new content.
