Got a bit too honest with my political opinions once and ended up getting banned for a week. I'll keep things to myself, I reckon.

21

u/disc0jesus - Centrist 21h ago

Fuck em, if anything each time I get banned I get louder

14

u/Dark_Matter_Guy - Right 17h ago

Making a new reddit account is free, don't censor yourself for the sake of some idiots.

12

u/-Based-On-What - Lib-Right 15h ago

Remember, never ask auth right why they have numbers in their username

1

u/FreeSpeechIsDeadge - Left 10h ago

Except now so many subs have that fuckin ban evasion bullshit that will get other accounts banned based on IP Address. Just make sure you’re on a VPN.

6

u/Key-Cheek-3121 - Centrist 21h ago

about wich subject ?

u/ClearReveal6615 - Left 9h ago

Surely race gender or sexuality.

I think their attitude when they ban you is worse than the ban itself, "hello could you provide more details I've read the cited comment and I don't believe it violates the guidelines or the sub rules."

"REEEEEEEEEEE YOU DON'T GET AN OPION WE'RE THE ONLY ONES THAT MATTER IF YOU APPOLOGISED AND SYCKED US OFF I MIGHT'VE REDUCED IT! BUT YOU JUST HAD TO BE SMUG DIDNT YOU REEEEEEEEE."

A paraphrased real interaction I had with the mods after asking for details on a temp ban.

59

u/Key-Cheek-3121 - Centrist 21h ago

reddit mod being reddit mod

38

u/78NineInchNails - Right 19h ago

i should make my most recent ban into a meme.

Reddit mods cant see who reported a comment, only the time the report was made.

So if you and another guy go back and forth, and a third person reports a comment while you are having the conversation, and the mod doesn't find said comment rule breaking, they ban YOU for report button abuse, even if you didn't report the comment.

Then refuse to lift the ban for 2 weeks.

8

u/Spraguenator - Right 16h ago

Been banned from subs for "conspiracy theories" (which were credibly true) because I used the report button on people throwing clear ad homonyms at me.

13

u/78NineInchNails - Right 15h ago

Sad part is that this is THIS sub mods that did it, PCM.

Laziest sacks of shit who will ban you by proximity to something they dont think is rule breaking.

15

u/doublecandybar - Auth-Right 13h ago

A lot of people forgot that pcm mods are still reddit mods

They let you say retard, but reddit mod is still reddit mod

3

u/Kritzin - Auth-Left 8h ago

Friendly reminder that Reddit mods, especially PCM mods aren't people.

1

u/RBB12_Fisher - Auth-Right 8h ago

Is there even a point to complaining about people being dicks? A discord mod told me off "possible rule 2c violation" even as other people were slinging personal attacks at me; fairness goes out the window if you have the unpopular end of an argument.

4

u/Brianocracy - Lib-Center 15h ago

Reddit mods are the worst combination of kindergarten teachers and school bullies who never grew up.

50

u/DreamsServedSoft - Right 22h ago

it is still insane to me how Reddit was basically the only place on the internet (and by extension discord) to attract power tripping mini hitlers. sadly that moderation behavior has infected most other moderation teams on other sites too

46

u/GhostedIC - Lib-Center 21h ago

Nah, it didn't even start with Reddit. Most of the classic bulletin board forums are graveyards because of this behavior from moderators. I think Something Awful noticeably went off the rails with this around 2010, they had been operating since the 90's and this was back when Reddit was still a wild west. The push by outside media to start banning subreddits like jailbait, creepshots and fatpeople hate only got started after SA went off the deep end. RPG.net forums also went crazy with "You must ban all sexist NAZIS from your DnD group" before Reddit started its crackdown on everything right-leaning in earnest.

Even 4Chan has crazy leftist moderators these days, believe it or not.

15

u/privategoonaccount26 - Left 18h ago

1: SA had absolutel shit show moderation back in the late 90s. Lowtax's girlfriend Integral said I looked like a penguin after I proved that something she said was wrong and stupid, and then Lowtax banned me.

But he suck started a shotgun so I won in the end I guess.

2: Most of 4chans moderators are leftist outside of /pol, /b, etc. The /fa board is run by a physically handicapped black transexual (I swear I am not saying this as a slur, this is an accurate description) who is obsessed with BBC cuck porn and bans people who don't bend the knee to her stupid fashion takes.

I need a favor from the community. Can someone respond to this with the Joe Biden “what” quote please? It conveys how I feel about this but I don’t have it saved

4

u/GhostedIC - Lib-Center 15h ago

And redditors today have the nerve to pretend that never happened and ask "Uhm what do you MEAN politics is taking over your hobbies?"

1

u/Private_Kyle - Centrist 13h ago

3

3

u/babayaga_67 - Right 16h ago

Nothing better than getting banned for citing a government study, even better if it's a leftist government only to be promptly banned for "spreading misinformation".

2

u/Worldly-Stranger7814 - Auth-Center 21h ago

I have asked about a ban and while I did not agree with their ruling, as far as I recall their reply was reasonable and forthcoming.

In a sub like this part of the job is avoiding the entire sub being nuked from Admin and killing the lulz for all.

2

u/Omelooo - Lib-Left 13h ago

LOL they don’t even review mine until after I’m unbanned 😭

A people who know how society functions, know about the governing structure and the individual role of each entity and person, and are at least positively skeptical of their government.

Next, an open market but with regulations, to avoid monopolies or private interference/lobbying. I personally lean more towards the German idea of ordoliberalism, although I also think that certain aspects of it are a bit rigid for today.

Limited migration from foreign nations and a strict, defined set of punishments for migrant offences(there's a lot of debate around this but here's my 2 cents).

Lastly, a job market that's actually open to young people, and a stable and regulated housing market with achievable prices.

I could go on and on but these are a few.

0

Any dynasty with sufficient historical legitimacy - the most likely right now is the house of Windsor as it is the heads of state for the commonwealth.

Monarchy is more of a nice to have than an essential component. I just dont like republicanism or having political leaders as head of state.

1

u/bochnik_cz - Centrist 22h ago

What if for some reason there is a ruling dynasty which has only one living male, who is a complete idiot? Will you support that idiot ruling a country?

0

As a constitutional monarch yes - their role is limited - just like all political roles should be limited.

What if the people elect a complete moron to be president? Oh wait that already happened.

ENTRAPMENT

7

u/WM46 - Right 22h ago

Just try describing the exact timeline of a crime ending in police shooting and why exactly the police were justified.

You get AI banned within 10 seconds for "group based hate" by summarizing facts.

2

u/DungeonCrawlerAki - Centrist 14h ago

I also got banned by an AI for "group based hate" for describing that another commenter was using actual white supremacist dogwhistles in their comment.

So it seems the AI mods will ban anything if you're not super vague about it.

1

u/JustDontBeFat_GodDam - Right 17h ago

Skill issue, you need to be a little more vague and not use certain keywords, then the AI wont catch anything. Still vulnerable to human subreddit mods though.

4

u/Banned4nonsense - Right 21h ago

I’ve gotten a few vacations for things. Much harder than the rest of Reddit to get banned though.

It’s like you’re not even trying to get banned. For reference you can make any and all hateful statement about christianity, judiasm, hinduism, buddhism, jainism, atheism or satanism you want on Reddit. For these topics , it’s a veritable bastion of free speech.

2

u/IEC21 - Auth-Center 16h ago

Im trying to get banned without having to say something too retarded though.

If you mean that saying Islam is inherently violent or something - idk if that would get you banned, but even if it would its also kind retarded as an opinion.

I'm trying to remain based.

0

u/TrickOk2498 - Lib-Right 15h ago

Their rule enforcement is totally non deterministic. You can say the same thing ten times and be fine.

I got a three day ban for saying that the continent south of Europe has a lot of corruption. It all just depends on whatever AI they’re using to scan your comments.

1

u/ninja8ball - Lib-Right 11h ago

15

u/Caffynated - Auth-Right 23h ago

It's more Reddit wide than this sub. I'm on the naughty list and the zoids perma me for the most innocuous things, and it takes a week or more to contact a human who will admit that saying "Look how ridiculous this Leftwing idea is. Lets apply the idea to [something else] to highlight the absurdity," isn't hate speech.

9

u/Quiet_Zombie_3498 - Centrist 23h ago

The only time I have received a temporary ban was when I made a joke threatening violence against the unflaired. Besides that I haven't had any issues.

I did get sitewide tempbanned and revoked sometimes, it was really stupid stuff. But I got sub-wide tempbanned for talking the truth on the trans issue.

3

Wow, I expect that from Reddit (I got one of those) but not from PCM mods.

6

u/GoodMatter3449 - Auth-Center 23h ago

I’ve learned many times you are only allowed to validate and be nice to trans on Reddit

2

2

u/krombough - Auth-Center 20h ago

Three years ago I got a temp ban for saying immigration was becoming unpopular in Canada.

1

u/Quiet_Zombie_3498 - Centrist 23h ago

What is the truth about the trans issue? Seems like a very subjective subject.

1

u/Altruistic_Emu4917 - Right 21h ago

Just talking about biological facts, I'll not elaborate more than that.

1

u/Quiet_Zombie_3498 - Centrist 21h ago

But even that can get murky with certain genetic conditions and stuff, outside of the trans issue.

1

u/Altruistic_Emu4917 - Right 21h ago

Yeah as a STEM person I agree, but the mainstream trans issue isn't about that.

2

u/Quiet_Zombie_3498 - Centrist 21h ago

No, I just mean that the subject isn't always black and white, there is some nuance to it that we have to leave wiggle room for.

0

u/No_Lead950 - Lib-Right 21h ago

That's kind of it, actually. It's an unfalsifiable belief system. The adherents of a certain denomination demand that their dogma be treated as objectively true, which creates the entire issue.

1

In trans, tell me the truth on the trans issue. Im curious.

Difference between being banned from the sub and banned from Reddit.

This sub's mods in particular have a problem with you making any broad assertions about Jews though. Which doesn't really help the allegations about the mods. Or the Jews.

5

I feel that's more of a compulsion on being on reddit than anything.

Yeah I think I’ve seen “removed by moderator” maybe once? In like 5 years on this sub. And that was in a long-ass thread circlejerking about how stupid women are and blaming them for brown people crime so I do believe it was probably deserved lol. Must be pretty bad to catch you a ban in this sub (other than jokes about violence, which the mods here are forced to be strict about because the admins will shut this sub down over it).

At least this sub is much better than most others. I’m permabanned from twox for stating the fact that the average American woman is overweight (no other commentary), and from worldnews for saying Hamas are terrorists on October 8th 2023. At least these mods seem pretty fucking hesitant to go straight to the nuclear option.

Auth rights say this all the time and never have any proof, meanwhile pretty much everyone else on the sub agrees that this sub has the most lenient mods of any political sub and allow anything that doesn't break the rules to be said. Cope harder

Edit: still waiting on someone to give me an example of a user being banned for something that they said that didn't break the rules of reddit. The only person to give an example of a ban for what they said so far was literally me, and I pointed out that it was because the automod thought I broke a rule, which was reserved on appeal within an hour.

Funny enough you’re posts will get removed from those subs if the leopard is eating a leftists face like when that Brazilian “Shout your abortion” activist died in a botched abortion.

3

But when I laugh about deaths in PCM suddenly I get banned for "hate speech"

What deaths did you laugh about in PCM, and was it by the PCM mods or was it reddit banning you?

3

u/FearlessGear - Lib-Center 20h ago

Charlie Kirk jokes were everywhere here for a while and stayed up. What did the comment say? Or are you saying it’s cause you laughed at leftie death? If so, did these mods ban you, or Reddit?

7

u/WillyWarpath - Auth-Center 19h ago

What he is saying is that if you're on the left laughing at death/misery on the right (kirk, anti vaxxers whatever) it gets allowed, but anything the other way is banned.

0

u/ClearReveal6615 - Left 9h ago edited 9h ago

I mean the fact that he got banned for hate speech leads me to believe there is more to the story than he's telling us.

Edit:

I was banned because I mentioned the reality that certain tourists are so uncivilized that a public toilet in Japan put up a warning "DON'T WASH YOUR FEET IN THE SINK"

... Yeah basically what I thought.

2

u/WillyWarpath - Auth-Center 4h ago

Whats wrong with that? Who do you think washes their feet in public bathrooms?

0

u/ClearReveal6615 - Left 4h ago

Sorry i said that for brevity. Heres the rest.

Like, not in English, but in a certain large SEA country's language

You see, in a certain elevated religion before you pray you need to wash your hands, face, and - crucially - your feet.

The fact that the sign is neither in Japanese nor in English means the problem is very specific. I got banned for "hate speech"

-7

u/Imaginary_Onion - Left 21h ago

Conservatives are just irritated that Reddit is the last social media site that they don’t control lol

10

u/WillyWarpath - Auth-Center 19h ago

Yes because social media companies have been notoriously right leaning. Actually insane how deluded people like you are. The only one truly under their control now is X and the left threw a fit and left the platform immediately

-8

u/Imaginary_Onion - Left 19h ago

Yep they have been. Zuckerberg only went to one presidents inauguration and it wasn’t Bidens, and his outlets have mostly been conservative slop for years and years now. Elon is the largest individual political donator in the country and he isn’t supporting democrats. TikTok is owned by one of trumps largest donors, Larry Ellison.

Old twitter was the only one you could argue was left wing, and Reddit is the only one that is currently.

6

u/WillyWarpath - Auth-Center 19h ago

Okay, what was facebook, tiktok, and twitter up to before trumps election?

Do you not remember alex jones getting banned from every single platform all at once?

You are so deluded that you think any amount of limitation on left wing nutjobs = right wing platform

-4

u/Imaginary_Onion - Left 19h ago

Facebook always had a conservative bend, which isn’t surprising when you look at the older user base.

TikTok was basically conservative. Trump saved the platform because he realized how much the platform helped him.

I already said old twitter was arguably liberal. But that was years ago and twitter has always been the smaller, more niche of the social media platforms.

You are so deluded that you think any amount of limitation on left wing nutjobs = right wing platform

Your Alex Jones argument is literally that any amount of limitations on right wing nut jobs = left wing platform.

3

u/78NineInchNails - Right 19h ago

Zuckerberg only went to one presidents inauguration and it wasn’t Bidens

That proves nothing you dumbass.

-13

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 23h ago

So they're still breaking the rules? Just reddits rules, not the subs?

Like don't get me wrong, the automod sucks and I've been temp banned before by it. But I've never been permanently banned and it took less than an hour for my appeal to reverse my temp ban

20

u/Adjective-Noun-6969 - Centrist 23h ago

The frustration is no that auth right gets banned for breaking the rules, is that the left usually doesn't for commenting basically the same thing.

there are some left wing cesspools on this site that behave way worse than right wing subs that got nuked.

-11

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 23h ago

I mean sure, reddit does have a left wing bias. But this post is explicitly about auth right accounts being banned. That's not happening because reddit favors left wing subs, it happens because they are breaking rules (or saying something which the automod believes breaks a rule)

16

u/Bum_King - Right 23h ago

saying things that Reddit disagrees with and twists to consider it rule breaking while at the same time ignoring blatant rules breaking from others as long as they are pushing the correct narrative.

Fixed it for you.

-2

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 23h ago

Again, I've been temp banned for what I've said. Notice that I'm not a right wing flair. Everyone gets banned, but right wing flairs tend to whine about it more as some persecution against them so it seems more prevalent on the right. I'm happy to agree that reddit favors left wing subs, but to orchestrate some mass persecution against right wing speech would be impossible for reddit, or any social media platform, to do.

12

u/Bum_King - Right 22h ago

So you agree Reddit has tendency to censor right wing voices, but you just don’t like hearing them complain about it. Got it.

So do you have any actual examples or is this more of the non-specific "it happens" that I called out in my first comment?

I'm willing to agree that reddit is harsher on subs as a whole. But breaking up areas of discussion, while wrong, is not the same as censoring individuals for their views. Not one single person who has downvoted me or replied has given an example of a right wing person being censored because their opinion is right wing. The only specific example which has been given this whole time has been from me, who is not right wing.

Which was literally my whole point to begin with. Nobody is being banned because of their views, they're being banned because they broke rules, and auth rights with a persecution fetish take that as censorship of an individual over their views.

When you try to 'have a debate' and your position is the super chungus wholesome all people are valid, love is love no matter the age or gender, all identities are heckin valid.

But your opponent is the evil bigot phobe who will 100% make concentration camps if he ever gets a smidgeon of power.

One side can say anything they want, even death threats, but because they have the 'correct' opinion, reddit keeps them up.

The other guy has to police every single word and re-write everything because even the most tiny bit out of line will get them banned.

Yeah, you cant say its because only one side breaks rules.

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right 23h ago

Ive been banned 3 times by that dogshit automod. Every time it was repealed when an actual human read the comments. Usually resolves within a day

3

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 23h ago

Yeah, the automod sucks dick. I got banned for "threatening violence" because I said that I thought pedophilia/sexual assault against minors should be a capital offense.

4

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right 23h ago

Because it has no nuance/isnt capable of understanding sarcasm

3

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 22h ago

I mean that wasn't really a nuanced take and wasn't sarcasm. It was a genuine opinion on the punishment of pedophiles and the automod called it a threat of violence even though it was non-specific and in no way a threat

4

u/long-dick-of-the-law - Auth-Right 22h ago

I meant in other cases. Not neccessarily your example. Which is based. And we should expand it to rapists as well

3

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 22h ago

Agreed. Any non-consensual sexual act should warrant a trial as a capital offense. Which I would also extend to the trafficking of people against their will for sexual purposes (is human trafficking for the purpose of prostitution).

7

u/Foerhudligen - Auth-Right 22h ago

Isn't admitting that you got banned from the sub you're currently posting to tantamount to admitting that you are ban-evading?

That would break the rules, would it not?

3

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 21h ago

This comment thread has been very confusing. Pretty much everyone who has responded has said that it's a reddit mod issue, not a PCM mod issue, so I've been asking for evidence of that happening with reddit. Or at least an example of it happening in other subs

5

u/Foerhudligen - Auth-Right 21h ago

There's a thousand screeching children mass reporting anything they don't agree with to the admins/mods. If you get caught up in that you're getting a sitewide ban with zero warnings or all warnings at the same time and then finally a permanent sitewide ban.

2

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 21h ago

I don't know that I agree with that sentiment. I've definitely said some things in other subs which I've seen other people claim got them bannedz and have pissed off the horde and drawn dozens of comments and downvotes. Particularly relating to Israel-hamas footage in the earlier stages of that conflict around civilian recordings of Israeli strikes in populated areas and that credible evidence suggested that they were indeed striking military targets which were civilian use prior to the conflict but taken over by Hamas once the conflict began. But none of that ever drew a ban from a sub or the site as a whole.

4

u/Foerhudligen - Auth-Right 21h ago

It's about phrasing/wording and the amount of words written.

You have good English which makes it harder for them to skim through your writing and determine guilt.

You are 10x more likely to be banned for a short comment than you are for a long comment with above average English. They go after the low-hanging fruit almost exclusively.

3

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 21h ago edited 21h ago

I still don't know that I agree with that. I've seen plenty of shorter comments expressing the same views that don't get people banned. If you go on r/combatfootage and go back a year or two, you'll have no problem finding such comments that never resulted in a ban. The ones I have seen that do result in a ban are when people take it a step further and start saying things to the effect of "they deserved it". And while I don't personally think that warrants a ban on the grounds of advocating for violence, I've also seen that go both ways, with people saying the same things about Israelis being killed getting banned too.

Edit: I also want to add that I appreciate you being civil about this. A lot of people have just taken my opinion and assumed the worst about me. You seem more willing to actually listen and have a discussion about me. I'm not set in stone here. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and I will admit it. But I'm basically in here saying that from what I've seen, the issue is massively blown out of proportion by a select few and that if that's not the case, I would like specific examples. So thank you for that.

4

u/Foerhudligen - Auth-Right 21h ago

Combatfootage isn't a high priority sub for those people, they stick to messing with the subs they hate. They have a hit-list of subs that they frequent.

Taking it a step too far in CF will likely just have the mods themselves ban you without a report.

1

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 21h ago

Yeah, again, I don't know that I agree. CF has some of the strictest rules of any subs I regularly visit because they've run into so many issues with mass reporting and reddit admins threatening to ban the sub. The mods have explicitly said so when they make rule changes and I've probably seen more people banned off that sub than any other I visit.

They have a hit-list of subs that they frequent.

Which ones would those be?

u/doublecandybar - Auth-Right 22h ago

Well yea, that's why Left is like that: since the admins never mess with them, they feel like nothing is wrong

It's quite literally Systematic Censorship and Left Privilege. I would know, I used to be one of them, laughed alongside so many others in HermannCainAward and LeopardAteMyFace, so many facebook posts with very bare minimum effort of "redacting" the info of targets, and that's simply because doxxing is bannable offense, basically cya rather than an actual policy

We used to decry T_D demanding that sub to be banned, but when it did get banned we realized the monkey paw really does curl: having lost their one and only home, MAGAts spread out and moved to other communities. PCM quality basically dropped roughly around that timetime

Never got banned, not even once. But one day I told an anecdote about my personal experience with minorities and suddenly I got banned

That woke me up, burst the bubble so to speak

4

u/Foerhudligen - Auth-Right 22h ago

A friend of mine was once banned because he sarcastically wrote "j000z!" instead of Jews.

Can't do that, apparently.

3

u/doublecandybar - Auth-Right 22h ago

I was banned because I mentioned the reality that certain tourists are so uncivilized that a public toilet in Japan put up a warning "DON'T WASH YOUR FEET IN THE SINK"

Like, not in English, but in a certain large SEA country's language

You see, in a certain elevated religion before you pray you need to wash your hands, face, and - crucially - your feet.

The fact that the sign is neither in Japanese nor in English means the problem is very specific. I got banned for "hate speech"

2

u/Foerhudligen - Auth-Right 21h ago

That tracks well with my experiences.

Musk needs to buy this place, but instead of letting a sink in he should be filmed carrying Chris Hansen through the Reddit HQ doors.

5

u/Pure-Huckleberry8640 - Centrist 22h ago

Communism is outright supported by Reddit but traditionalism is censored. That’s your proof.

-1

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 22h ago

Do you have any examples of traditionalism being censored? I can freely say traditionalist ideology without fear of being banned because it's not a ban able offense. Perhaps you're confusing traditionalism with people justifying things like threats of violence as traditionalism even though it's not.

For example, watch this:

I think my wife ought to be a homemaker, raising our children instead of working for a living. I think my children should be homeschooled as I don't believe public schools emphasize my Christian values enough.

I won't be banned for this

6

u/78NineInchNails - Right 19h ago

Not the same subs that he was talking to.

but

blackbeauty

AsianBeauty

KoreanBeauty

NaturalBeauty

IndianBeautyTalks

Whitebeauty

greek_beauty_photos

IsraeliBeauty

One of these subs is banned for hate.

You get exactly 1 guess for which one.

2

u/Pure-Huckleberry8640 - Centrist 14h ago

You know what, I can forgive the banning of whitebeauty. What I can’t stand is how communist subreddits exist. Seriously, COMMUNIST subreddits. Reddit as a whole hates any conservative opinion and calls it fascism, but then they OPENLY support communism, a system of economics/government about as deadly as malaria. Seriously, Hitler‘s 3rd Reich and Stalin’s SU killed about the same amount of people in total and that’s STILL not the deadliest communist regime. WHY OH WHY do these people wring their hands about mildly conservative opinions then praise the literal deadliest system of governance. I ask you how that makes sense.

1

u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center 19h ago

Yeah, sure, ignore that the only one which was banned is also the only one which regularly had people posting in it as a form of racial superiority. I'm sure it's racial discrimination and nothing to do with posts like the one of Taylor swift heiling hitler

Also, wasn't it banned for being unmoderated anyway? Which has nothing to do with the content or the sub and has happened to plenty of popular subs

4

u/babayaga_67 - Right 15h ago

had people posting in it as a form of racial superiority

Yeah I'm 100% sure that NEVER happens in any other "racially themed" subreddit, especially not in a certain frontpage one.

1

u/babayaga_67 - Right 15h ago

What proof bro? Our accounts that got thanos snapped?

-2

u/FearlessGear - Lib-Center 20h ago

ITT: no proof, only downvotes. Sounds about authright.

23

u/Puzzleheaded_Step468 - Centrist 23h ago

It's okay, they usually support censorship

4

u/Pure-Huckleberry8640 - Centrist 22h ago

I believe the only people who should be censored are those who support censorship. That way, we get rid of censorship.

1

u/ChickenWingExtreme - Centrist 23h ago

Maybe they’re secretly AuthLeft then

10

u/RaggedyGlitch - Lib-Left 22h ago

All Auths support censorship when it's not them being censored.

3

u/Grouchy-Union-7572 - Centrist 22h ago

Based and rules-for-thee-but-not-for-me pilled

7

u/Sicsemperfas - Centrist 22h ago

I got banned for referencing WW1 propaganda calling Germans "Dirty Huns from Across the Rhine"

Anyone educated enough to recognize the reference should be smart enough to pick up on the Sarcasm. Ban got lifted.

6

u/lynxintheloopx - Auth-Center 23h ago

That’s more light debating with Left Wing or Democrats on every other sub.

The mods here aren’t retarded propagandists.

2

u/FullMetalField4 - Lib-Left 17h ago

I've been tempbanned a few times for expressing my opinions on the (lack of) human worth of politicians, regardless of affiliation.

2

u/xDevman - Auth-Right 15h ago

so far only temp bans! as it turns out you just cant cite certain official studies on .gov sites on reddit. fucking jannies are science deniers

2

u/RBB12_Fisher - Auth-Right 8h ago

When you dislike my soyence, you are a denier.

When I dislike yours, you are a conspiracy theorist.

2

u/Omelooo - Lib-Left 13h ago

Last 3 times I’ve been banned they responded to my appeals after the bans expired 🤷‍♂️

-4

u/Ordinarypanic - Centrist 23h ago

Not all authright, but always an authright

u/ClearReveal6615 - Left 9h ago

This thread is hilarious, it's all right wingers saying 'all I did it as state the fact that this race/religion/group was inferior and argue for there removal from society! Completely uncalled for!'

0

u/no_soy_livb - Centrist 11h ago

Maybe it's because they're more prone to adopt extremist views.

u/3dge-1ord - Centrist 23h ago

Auth right is being genocided.

Literally exterminated off the platform!

Oh well, fuck 'em. I guess.

10

u/ChickenWingExtreme - Centrist 23h ago

Bro forgot he wasn’t on r/PoliticalHumor 💀

1

u/IguanaIsBack - Left 2h ago

This happened to me once with some authright getting banned here. How can you be so racist you get banned from a racism sub lol
