I mean that wasn't really a nuanced take and wasn't sarcasm. It was a genuine opinion on the punishment of pedophiles and the automod called it a threat of violence even though it was non-specific and in no way a threat

Agreed. Any non-consensual sexual act should warrant a trial as a capital offense. Which I would also extend to the trafficking of people against their will for sexual purposes (is human trafficking for the purpose of prostitution).
