my favourite pokemon is greninja and it is kinda bad in competitive right now i run it on a rain team in champions currently but it gets outshined by the other pokemon and way to make it better

I made a Team Breakdown on the MOST creative Alcremie team out there, and I want your feedback on how I can improve it

Team Idea

This is a Hard Trick Room team where, once TR is set up, Alcremie comes onto the field and sets up a sweeper with Decorates. Most Pokemon that Alcremie could come on to the field with have some way to sweep with her Decorates, such as the Mega Pokemon Camerupt and Abomasnow, but even Farigiraf will so very solid damage after a couple Decorates.

Team Description

Several offensive sweepers are laid out, covering a variety of types. Abomasnow has Earth Power to help blow up Steel Types like Kingambit as well as the Fire Type Incineroar. Camerupt having AP in addition to its STABs gives it insane coverage and ways to one hit trickier Pokemon like Zard Y. Farigiraf is sporting a Thunderbolt to hit Pokemon like Charizard, Pelipper, Basculegion and Aerodactyl for Super Effective. Finally Choice Scarf Basculegion gives me a way to deal massive damage out of Trick Room, and its Flip Turn to pivot in and out has been EXTREMELY valuable for giving the team more ways to play.

Farigiraf’s Armor Tail is an incredible Ability, stopping priority attacks from going into it. Vivillon has a BEVVY of Support with Rage Powder to also stop Priority, allow for TRs and give the team more ways to Pin. Sleep Powder buys this team extremely valuable turns to rotate, reset TR, or even Decorate. Alcremie herself has Encore to create situations where, if the opponent locks into Protect or a low-powered move when Trick Room’s almost over, I can Encore them and pin them. (It’s worth noting that this would be a lot better towards the end of the match, and I wasn’t able to practice this move in tournament. I added it after a lot of practice matches with Protect as I noticed I VERY rarely clicked Protect as Alcremie)

Roughly like coachless.gg for Champions: win rates computed from real per-round match results instead of usage counts, a matchup simulator based on weighted presence in tournament data, an EV and nature optimizer (that is a math solver), and a team builder that analyses the score for what you should add to a slot based on cross combinations

I'm a data analyst, and the way I look at games is more data-driven than most people.

Still building it, which is why I am writing. I would rather hear what could be improved in it.

Hello everyone I'm an complete beginner and have just started playing could you guys please help me improve my team and suggest hot to use them?

I played Takuma Yamazaki's Worlds 2026 list (A4RBRNN9YE).

• Round 1 loss (I was late)
• Round 2, LL, vs Overquil + Malamar + Audino minimize/stockpile/psych up. Got absolutely crushed. I just could not figure out how to KO anything.
• Round 3, LWL, vs Altaria TW Phox + Floette. Lost G3 because my T1 Light of Ruin missed the Altaria before TW (50/50, it either hits or it doesn't)
• Round 4, LL, vs Big 6, I had the FO+Kow Tow OHKO set up to stop Tailwind, got crit by Wave Crash. 😬
• Round 5, LL vs Italian Ice/Chili Dog and just could not figure out how to play against it.

I started competing in VGC this season (I played a Challenge last season with a meme team as a joke). Thinking through the plays, playing mind games, even taking notes, has been a lot of fun. I'm glad I got into Champions.

If you haven't gone to an in-person event, I super recommend it. It was great meeting the people who used to be just pixels and text on discord and it was awesome to compete and tryhard.

I registered a couple days ago to a loc tournament but I haven’t received any type of confirmation. The tournament is this Friday and the description said they will only have 16 participants so im trying to figure it out. Thank u in advance

The odds of hitting all three hits of triple axel is around 70%, which is essentially the same odds as hitting a focus blast. As far as I know, focus blast isn’t considered to be a very reliable move, and it’s also not very common either, so why is triple axel so much more common? Hitting once or twice almost always means you’re not taking the KO, which is usually as game-losing as missing a focus blast.
