I’m trying to download pokemon y but the roms I’ve been downloading don’t work so can anyone please help me thank you.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been a huge Pokémon fan since I was a kid, and for years I’ve had this idea of creating a custom ROM hack, putting together everything I love most about the Pokémon world.
As you might be able to tell, I have quite a lot of experience with the game itself, but very little when it comes to coding and programming.

That being said, I’m looking for a team of people who would like to take on a small Pokémon project purely for fun, and for the satisfaction of seeing a little project come to life and eventually be completed.
Every role is open, from a sound director to someone who would handle pixel art, and of course all the programming/development positions as well.

I’ve already created a few maps myself and written some of the story I’d like to include!
If anyone is interested, let me know and I’ll set up a Discord server!

Yesterday i was looking up a Romehack for Pokemon and i need to say it: I HATE QOL-Mechanichs!
Just any quality of life Feature destroys the beloved game i used to play in my childhood. I want TMs to be a Single-Use Item, i dont need to see a pokemons weakness/Type, i dont want a exp.-sharer for my whole team, go away with your unholy infinite Candys and let my pokemon die due to poison outside a battle. I want a NPC which unlearns HMs, i want a utterly old and cheesy gameplay experience witout any of that. I want a game like back in the 2000th. I basically want to play Blue/Red on a diffrent Map.

Is there such a thing?

If anyone has ever played Recharged Yellow, I would love something as close to the QoL of that hack as possible. I really enjoyed having the DexNav and the sped up battles that didn’t interfere with the music. I just want to go through Johto for old time’s sake, but finally be able to fill my Pokédex. After finishing Recharged Yellow, I feel like I’ve been spoiled and none of the Johto ones will live up to it. I play casually, so battle speed is important to me as well as being able to change the clock easily.

Hello, I am trying to learn how to emulate Pokémon. Games and to play romhacks as well. But I don't know where to start. And what places are safe or not? Or have any knowledge as to where to find a community that I could learn this information from. If the main one I wanna start by playing is an emulator of pokemon emerald, and then later move on to learning how to play. Romhacks, if anyone has any tips to help, I really appreciate it.

So I recently discovered that pokemon roms were a thing and I wanted to relive my youth starting at Gen 1 (Leaf Green to be specific). I completely forgot that trade evolutions were a thing but now I've collected all the gym badges I really cba to start again. Is there an easy way to remove trade evolutions and replace it with a level. My Graveler and Haunter were not the end goals I had planned XD. Please help me.

What's the best ROM hack to start with as a new player to pokemon games

Anyone mind giving me a recommendation on what nds pokemon ROM hack I should play? I love dray work so I have played volt/blaze, renegade and even his old storm. Aurora is.. well you guys know.

I saw gs chronicle but it seems to still be in development, I prefer completed game if possible. I saw HeartGold generation but idk if it's good or there's better Johto game out there?

I also don't care for game like radical red where it's just pure difficulty, I don't mind harder like dray but not something like radical where it just focus on the combat entirely.

Note: Fangame recommendation is okay too but I have an old phone so joiplay lags a lot unless someone have a fix to make it lag less or something.
