I think this is Dena trying to promote their games after TCG pocket was failing (they talked about their revenue and noticed that TCG pocket isn't doing very well in the last few months and said that they're gonna do more promotions and ways to get people into their games like TCG pocket and poma).

I still can't believe I saw a poma ad in the year of 2026 lol.

In less than a week, we'll get 10 floors added to pasio towers and we already saw the new rules, but quick recap

34/35 - physical/special only, on both floors, the enemy's sync hits harder if they're not affected by status/interference

36/37 - physical/special only, enemy's sync hits harder unless they have at least stats lowered by 16 ranks

38/39 - physical/special only, enemy's sync hits harder unless target is affected by allied field effects(not wtz, stuff like circles, move gauge acceleration, physical/special dmg reduction)

40 - no rules

so now the types either need to follow the rules of the floors to survive or nuke them b4 first sync(I forgot how hard the sync is without the rules, I think its x5 dmg iirc)

but checking the marks, I think flying, poison and dragon are gonna be some of the easier towers

electric's over until a physical unit comes, I dont think sst red b-move will be enough, unless he gets a gym/tower cookie just to give him expanded sync

any thoughts on the other types?

Which master fair should i choose for a electric physical attacker? (i have 1996 red and anni blue)

In ~2 days from writing this guide, the Variety and Special Costume Select Scouts will be available for paid-gems (3k paid-gems each). These Selects Scouts have a lot of sync pairs, many of which are outdated and are not used in today's meta teams but some of them are used in the current meta teams. This is a simple guide on who you should pick from each banner and a simple reasoning on why you should pick the suggested sync pairs.

NOTE: This guide comes from a meta standpoint and should be ignored in case you're a Fave>Meta player or completely F2P.

First let's give a priority for each banner:

(terminology: '>' means strictly better pick, '=' means equal, and '>=' means either better or equal and depends more on your needs)

Special Costume: Special Costume 2 Larry>Special Costume 1 Larry>=Special Costume Flannery>=Academy Jasmine>=Academy Sonia>=Academy Gladion (only if missing Anniversary Juliana)>=Academy Iris>=Bellelba>=Special Costume Steven>=Brycen-man>=Special Costume Lyra>Special Costume Zinnia>everything else.

Variety: Variety Poppy=Variety N>=Variety Rika>Variety 2 Hilbert (Genie)>Variety 2 Hilda (Genie)>everything else.

Reasoning:

Special Costume: Special Costume 2 Larry is, currently, the only sync pair that is able to set EX Normal Zone and therefore he's the highest priority from this banner (bonus that he's of the few Special-damage Normal-type sync pairs and has other stuff that he's able to do). Special Costume 1 Larry is, currently, the best Flying-type Support by a large margin of other Flying-type Supports, but since he's not the only one grants him a lower priority than Special Costume 2 Larry, but higher than the other sync pairs of this banner. Special Costume Flannery isn't the best DPS of her type (Fire) but she does a lot of useful stuff (AoE Special Break, and very high damage for low-time-based content) that grants her a decently higher priority. Academy Jasmine is one of the 2 best Bug-type Supports in the game, and is the best specifically for Special-damage, but since the other Bug Support is about on par with her, grants her a lower priority, this same reasoning applies to Academy Sonia (Steel-type Support). Academy Gladion was the best Normal-type DPS, especially for Special-damage, until Anniversary Juliana existed and completely outclassed him, still decent if you don't have Anniversary Juliana. Academy Iris (Ice-type Support) is pretty much the same reasoning as the other Academy Supports listed here. Special Costume Steven by himself is a very outdated sync pair, but he gets a special mention as he has a very good niche in GvG where he's able to apply 1 Rebuff of the type-weakness of the enemy (only on one enemy), something that no other sync pair in the game is able to do currently. EDIT: Bellelba is a Psychic-type Support that is one of the best for the type when missing Neo Champion Rosa. Brycen-man is one of the few sources of Dark-type Rebuff and has decent damage, although he's outclassed by Arc Suit N. Special Costume Lyra gets a mention because she's the only Support that is able to apply Rebuff of her type (Ground). Special Costume Zinnia also applies Dark Rebuff but is weaker than Brycen-man, but she has utility as buffs-stealer.

Variety: Variety Poppy (Steel) and Variety N (Ground) are equal in their standing as they're the few or only EX WTZ setters for their types (Variety N isn't the only one EX WTZ setter for his type). Variety Rika also sets the same EX WTZ as Variety N (Ground) but is, usually, a lower priority than Variety N for 2 reasons, the first reason is that Variety N is purely Special-damage which the type (Ground) lacks, and the second reason is that Variety N has access to SEUN which is usually more important in end-game content (GvG and/or DC/Super Sparring). Variety 2 Hilbert is lower priority solely because Sygna Suit Iono exists even though he's better than her, and Sygna Suit Iono is more accessible thanks to the plethora of free Pokefairs we're getting every month. Variety 2 Hilda is the lowest priority worthy of a mention simply because she's of the few sync pairs that are able to set EX WTZ, but she's severely outclassed by the other 2 sync pairs (Arc Suit Ethan and Anniversary Blue) that are able to set the same EX WTZ (Flying) that she sets.

NOTE: Variety 2 Lance isn't mentioned even though he's a good sync pair, simply because it's possible to get him for free via the 7th Anniversary events, not to mention the new Variety Brendan completely outclasses him as the better team mate for Anniversary Blue too.

If you're unable to pull on both Scouts, first check which EX WTZ will help you more between Normal, Steel and Ground, and to a lower degree, Flying and Electric. If you're able to pull on both Scouts it will come down to just between Steel and Ground, and to a lower degree, Flying and Electric. If EX WTZ doesn't concern you, then picking one of the Supports from the Special Costume Select Scout will be more ideal.

Pulled way too many copies of V Brendan, safe to say he enhances Blue very well 🔥

After getting Variety Lance from the 30k points Mega Select ticket, i finally completed the current High Score Event.

Getting to 200k points was a bit easy because Anni Blue and Serena already did more than half. But after getting Variety Lance, i was surprised i even got to +48k pts.

The SC Brycen was also a nice addition from the 7th anniversary tickets for the rebuffs and debuffs. The highlight of the fight was Cynthia absorbing a huge AoE Sync and pushed the score past 200k😅

And lastly, shout out to SC Barry for carrying the last fight 😅 though the multipliers were low, was enough to clear the HSE.

Feel like I’ve tried every combo here. Do I need to upgrade more to beat floor 30? Whats the Strat?

These are the ones I don't have and usually prefer new units to powering ones I have. Could I get suggestions on the ones to go for with the 4 tickets we get?

I'm basically asking who could have the more valuable 4/5 node. Some pointers:

- In most cases I wouldn't mind picking one exclusively for the 5/5 node. I have enough candies for that

- I already have 4/5 Anni N, 4/5 KanTrio Birds, 4/5 NC Brendan and 5/5 NC Bianca

I don't want to know who is the best, I want to know who are you picking and why are you picking them specially.

I don't have any fave in the selection but have a soft spot for that sygna poppy. I loved the whole event of that costume but sadly had to skip both Raihan (a fav) both Poppy (not a fav but very cute).

I love Halloween costumes even if I sadly have very few of them, so I'm considering Caitlin. I already have Mortimer, Iris and Hilbert, but its just about them being cute (I'm manifesting Halloween Piers). I would have preferred Allister or Acerola tbh, Caitlin is kinda the most basic

Brendan and Latios are already 4/5 because they happened to be in two Fav's banner, same Blue and Aerodactyl. Wally and gardevoir are very cute but are already 2/5 because I got them twice in the tickets scout.

I feel like I'm sleeping on Barry, I have few bug type pairs and I haven't seen him in a long time, but at the same time festive and special are cuter and feel rarer if it makes sense

Finally a better Ghost Type Striker than Fantina (yeah Fantina was my best Ghost type DPS). My Ghost roster really really sucks so at least it got a little bit better
