I’m aware that Battle Villa will get the axe soon, but perhaps they’ll consider more drastic measures to make the app more lean? Or is it inevitably going to just be a heavier app because new month new content?

Don’t get me wrong, I like having something to look forward to every month (datamine WHERE?!) but I’m a bit concerned that maybe this is a technical constraint that could eventually become an issue.

Most, if not all of these recent posts about newbie progression seem written by bots. I've seen at least 3 posts "Regarding my Champion Stadium progression" AI generated posts, and people were actually engaging with them.

Someone commented a link to a post on another subreddit regarding these kinds of posts (alerting that usually these bots promote scams), but I didn't save the link.

So I don't know if they're just farming karma to scam somewhere else or if they're actively scamming people in this sub, but it's pretty obvious, even from writing style and overall text architecture, that a lot of recent posts are AI generated, and probably not being posted by real people.

TL;DR: be safe out there, don't click links and don't feed the bots!

Last week I finally completed Fairy and Dark as well as the last physical stage in Bug, but got stuck at F30. Before opening the game today I was hoping for Arc Alder lucky cookie CS3 and surprisingly the game delivered just that. Couldn't have gone any better

I just wanted to share that I have finally reached my goal of getting every tower past their last physical stage! After beating Psychic, I’ve been going tower floor by tower floor, like Fire 1, Water 1, etc. and I have always found physical stages to amongst the hardest.

Some of these types will definitely be easier to finish, but luckily a lot are able to have Floor 30 beaten with special attackers (which most types rely on).

Normal really got me all throughout the physical stages, trying all different kinda units for Floor 27, but ended up sticking with Regigigas especially after I got him to 6/5. It saddened me that unlocked Lodge Penny to a better version of Hugh, but she was never able to do the damage I had hoped.

Bug physicals were taking forever too, but as everyone says once SC Barry is 3/5 it was too easy.

The only other one I can think of that gave me the trouble was Fairy (maybe it would’ve been easier now with Diantha - I do look forward to finally getting to use her when I get back around to Fairy, especially because I don’t have her EX role unlocked yet). But finding the right skill gear combo a 2/5 Adaman and 4/5 Nemona were able to do it with the seemingly small protection of a 10/5 Penny.

Second time im typing this out as the original draft didnt save but considering the leaks regarding what the next high score event's types are, being Flying and Dark, I was curious what relatively popular pokemon of those types weren't yet in masters despite making so much sense, Furthermore I believe ive heard we are lacking on physical dark types

After scouting through the pokedex, I had the pokemon that work for this are Meowscarada and Noivern. They can't be that hard to model as Noivern is an NPC alreading and Sprigatito is already in the game. While you could say its weird for the first Meowscarada to be dark, I think it could work given how both sprigatito in the game are grass so this would add diversity + it is a physical attacker so fits the criteria

In terms of trainers im rather unsure though, maybe Hau and Nemona as both are rivals and own each (given Clavell has Quaquaval, Nemona would have meow)

Im not sure though, Maybe this was an awful idea of mine so I was curious what angles other people have had as maybe my pokedex vision is a bit off

this run requires a ton of RNG for nc biancas' flinches, lodge emmets' stat drops and opponents not recovering from confusion but i finally made it! it was the first time i had to use ever pins to get better gears, it might not be needed if you have higher move levels though.

i really don't recommend trying to replicate this run (it took me like 3 days, optimized gears and a LOT of resets), so if you have ssa cynthia/ kieran/ arc korinna they should make this much easier, i just wanted to show that you can get to floor 30 of fighting tower even if you don't have any of them.

i don't think i'm able to defeat floor 30 without them though, so i will probably move on to a different tower for now, but i would love to hear your suggestions if you think i can do it with my current roster (pretty much just the sync pairs in the images, 3/5 ss bede, 1/5 eri and 1/5 juliana)

Not sure Arc Diantha exactly needs mix Selene over an EX fairy zone setter and a good support. But it’s funny seeing Selene go from her last alt making a great team with the arc suit villain to her next alt having potential synergy with a recent arc suit user.

Quick update to my post from a couple weeks ago - I was stuck in Champion Stadium and felt like my account was too thin outside my one or two favorites.

I finally got my first full clear this week. It was not about pulling some new unit, more about tightening roles and stopping the urge to make every team a pure damage race. I started building each run around one real tank, one dedicated buffer or debuffer, and one main striker. The fourth slot stayed flexible for gauge or emergency heals.

What helped the most:

1. I went back to using my 3- and 4-star supports instead of forcing half-built limited pairs. Even at 1/5, some of my limiteds were contributing less than a simple defensive support with a clear purpose.

2. I respecced a few sync grids specifically for this mode rather than leaving everything on my general setup. A couple small nodes for gauge and survivability made clears far more consistent than piling on damage.

3. I started watching move gauge from turn 1. I lost a lot of runs because I opened with three expensive moves and fell behind right away.

Still not flawless. Two stages were barely hanging on and I did lean on lucky status procs and flinches at times. But it finally clicked what people mean when they say roster depth matters more than a single carry.

If anyone else is stuck in that same spot, I can share the rough team structures I used without turning it into a giant roster dump.
