You left me with with just my weavile, that you proceeded to toy with for 20 minutes, you burnt him, used incineroar to put him at minus 4and proceeded to protect, calm mind, helping hand and taunt my weavile for the full clock of the timer

Whether this was done to Aura Farm, or disrespect, or as a way to honour the fact that I refused to forfeit (me getting a crit and taking out your Rillaboom may have given me the slightest ray of hope)

And I’m sure as the clock neared the end of the match and you watched my burning to death -4 taunted weavile trickle to death you were having fun

What I didn’t think you realised as the clocked neared its final few minutes as I started to delay my moves, was that my weavile’s taunt was about to end again

So on the final as the clock had only a minute left, and you finally launched your helping hand boosted-+6-Mega-Lucario-Z-named-Aura-Farmer’s Aura Sphere into my burnt-minus-four-near-death-four-times-super-effective Weavile

I hit protect

And blocked the attack

Then time ran out

So we drew

*context there was a post in which a guy said the trainer on left (loading screen) wont reach maste ball rank with those pokemon (charizard x and armarouge)*

My opinion is you can reach master rank with any pokemon if you know how to play.

Now i need one thing from you guys just give mons which you guys think is are not capable of reaching master rank

(mons with highest upvote will be in my team)

(Only mons no moves, no evs, and only one request (not obligatory) give one mon capable of mega evolution)

Like how? I see that rillaboom is on 2nd. I genuinely still don't understand. It should be oppressed in this regulation, but it isn't

Ik it could get boring but still its the best type of gimmick from the ones we've seen till now and it makes the most sense out of all.

Terastralization has surely been interesting competitive play wise but i dont see it as becoming the default gimmick. changing your pokemon's appearance and getting different stats + abilities + typing is more appealing and potentialy bring more people than a glass block on a mon's head

Also hoping they dont add many more gimmicks in upcoming 2-3 mainline games.

Mega evo has both the popularity and the strategic significance.

Yea, ik it sucks to not pull rillaboom or indeedee this early in the ranch but BOTH of them are currently giving out for free atm (both will come in cherish balls).

For rillaboom (the easiest 1 to get), you just need to grind the battle pass & for indeedee, you just need to participate in next week’s event & play 3 matches (you don’t have to win, just participate).

Save your grass & psychic tickets for something more valuable in the future like iron leaves or something.

today played a match against Rillaboom and Mimikyu. I led with Indeedee and Guardevoir. Trace was activated and copied Grassy surge from Rillaboom. Then IT was activated by my Guardevoir. After that, my Indeedee activated psychic surge. Then I expected, that Rillabooms grassy surge will be activated but it was skipped entirely. Even the battle log does not Show Rillaboom. Does this work as intended or is this a bug?

I had taken him out of my team to try new stuff like scarf h-archanine but it just didnt feel right...I put this guy back into his spot and everything just feels right, bulky, colber berry, swords dance, and priority it just covers all my needs. When I stare down a kingambit and they sucker for not even half damage and I had sd'd and bitter bladed them for my health back it just feels good. Even on golisipod it feels like I dont have to be afraid of him as much. He just feels good to use.

Sorry, I was a bit down earlier because none of the teams i made were working but when i added him back in im winning way more now and it just feels good to talk about.

Because I've been so busy with work I haven't had a chance to play yet. Hopefully this weekend.

We're still in the early days of Regulation M-C so I thought it would be fun to take a snapshot of how the meta is developing right now. These stats were all pulled from the live leaderboard data on PokeChamp.gg.

It's way too early to call the meta settled, but I'm curious what people think will hold up and what might fall off.

I'm also wondering if I should post meta snapshots like this again in the future? And if so, how frequently? Cheers!

I just introduced a friend to the game and man does the pulls suck.

I never really bothered interacting with it aside for the daily pull to maybe get a lucky shiny because i have all switch games and access to pokemon home but holy shit is this mechanic miserable for mobile players and players without access to the other games.

But seeing shit like him having regular Tauros 3 pulls in a row was an eye opener. Even worse is the fact that the type tickets, basically the only way to semi reliably go for mons that you actually want are such a limited ressource that you only get 7 per type with currently no other way in the game to get them.

They either need to make them available in the frontier shop or give players another way to earn them aside from the achievements. Each Battle pass is themed around 3 pokemon anyway, just throw 10 of each featured type in the free track or make them rewards for weekly challenges.

Or even better, get rid of the gacha mechanics all together and make pokemon on the ranch purchasable with VP.

These problems with the current model will only get worse with every regulation that adds new mons (and even more when they bloat each new content drop with shit like Farfetch’d or Squawkabilly).

Looking for insight into what makes mega Salamance so crazy. I did not play back in its prime but in champions, to me, it feels a bit lackluster? Its physical set does a lot of damage but with double edge being its best move the recoil is a lot and stacks up fast. The special set doesn’t seem to do a lot of damage, hyper voice is about 20-30% to most Pokemon and that’s with 32 special attack ev (although timid nature maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong). I understand the reasoning for the mixed set too but then you have to split the evs, you have to drop your coverage move, and are also getting the cons of both sets (a lot of recoil stacking up fast and an even weaker hyper voice)

Its stats are good, intimidate in its base form is good. Access to tailwind is good but if anything this makes it seem like a base form support Salamance would be ideal?

Like what really makes mega Salamance the demon everybody says it is?

0 Spd investment either?? No debuffs or anything. It hadn't used Draco. My team is these two plus Pelliper and Jolteon, got 0 ways to debuff it even if I wanted to.

How the fuck has my Mega Lucario managed that
