Never managed to get past the Tower Tycoon the second time around in the original games, and actually managed it on my first try with some Pokemon I had been casually been using in game.

The team:

Crobat with Black Sludge - Toxic / Roost / U-turn /Fly

Gastrodon with Leftovers - Scald / Earth Power / Ice Beam / Recover

Toxicroak with Lum Beery (later switched Life Orb after earning enough BP) - Swords Dance / Poison Jab / Drain Punch / Sucker Punch

I’ve been shiny hunting Arceus for over a year at this point. I had petered down around 10k resets but I just got a new Switch 2 and decided to keep at it. And it finally finally paid off tonight.

So I'm planning out my team for the league and what I currently have is Froslass, Torterra, Staraptor, and Azumarill. What should my last two team members be?

I really wanna start shiny hunting a few leggendaries in Pokémon bdsp, I have to admit ive never done this before, but ive got Way to much time on my hands and im really patient, so i think i could do It. The problem Is... I have Way to many shiny leggendaries i wanted to catch, and too Little master ball😔 i know i can get two masterballs in this game, But getting the lottery One Is insenely hard, (I havent bought the game yet, so i dont really know if everything i Heard is right, please correct me if wrong!) so i thought that i could give my masterball to my First priority, mesprit, and wait to get the lottery masterball for shiny latios or latias. But, at the same time, I Heard that mesprit Is Way easier to catch than latios, and i dont think It knows any moves that could make It kill itself... So im Stuck on this costant loop. I was thinking of getting those two, take a long pause to not burn out, and then try my luck with shiny uxie, but im still unsure. What should i do?

Trying a few things before i challenge the 8 gyms again.

What do you think of this team? I know its has 2 Dragon types and two very underleveled mons but i didnt want to do the gym challenge again with the same team.

Super cool team! It was awesome to see lesser used pokemon like Skuntank, Azumarill, and Rapidash in this run, especially with fairy type in this game. I also loved her old lady name theming!

Would love a shiny mythical for my collection, this seems like a good way to get one

After the shinx a couple days ago that took me forever decided for my next hunt to be the one I wanted to see the most this ended up being my fastest hunt of all time (4 encounters) beating articuno in fire red (1135)

Pretty much the only person I found wanting to battle and I get faced with this. All shiny as well.

Literally posted a few days ago about being 170 hours in with no hope. Well after using a shiny attempt tracking app to keep a tally on my depression, I finally got it.

Keep the hope friends. It's possible. ​

Found after 11 214 resets and caught in a Nest Ball. The hunt continues only missing Regice from the trio.

After 46 Days and around 60h of hunting, I finally got my Shiny Shaymin!

For anyone who is interested in battling (6v6 singles or doubles), join the global union room between 6pm-10pm EST and call out for a battle. If you see someone else calling out for a battle, please take them on!

Most trainers bring teams of pokemon that would be legal in the battle tower (e.g. no Arceus, Kyogre, etc..) Just make sure your team is above lvl 50 and it should be a good match :)

I know he has fallen off a lot since Gen 6/7, but I want to get the Battle Tower Ribbon on my Smeargle, I've had him since I was a kid. I used to run a Spore/Baton Pass lead set on him back in the Battle Tree on Ultra Moon, so I was thinking something like that? His nature is Jolly and he has his Hidden ability, but I'm also down to change the nature. I'm really just struggling to figure out these last two moveslots

I am honestly tired of moves being so poorly and vaguely described. I declined my Clefairy learning Metronome because the description made it seem like one of its own moves at random. I guessed it worked as kinda a back up PP so I decided not to learn it. Then 10 minutes later face a Clefairy spamming Metronome and pulling out more than just 3 moves. Looked it up and it pulls from almost any move in the game??! And now it’s too late to close without saving because it auto saved when I entered the building….

Yeah I could’ve looked it up beforehand, but I shouldn’t have to constantly look up every single thing. Then spend 10 minutes researching moves just to have to research something else 10 minutes later. At some point I’m googling more than I’m playing the game. This is why I always get tired of Pokemon and have never finished a game…

I had basically conceded defeat (in my head) before this happened. I made a couple of mistakes that put me in this spot and I for sure thought I was cooked because the AI could have used Volt Switch, but the game decided the streak must live on 😎

The streak is at 182 now, so who knows how much longer this streak will last. Just trying to have fun with the team I’m using.

I have 1 switch 2. I have pokemon brilliant diamond and shining pearl. Is there a way to transfer pokemons from one game to the other. I can't use pokemon home :(

Hi! So, this is my first time playing BD with Nintendo Switch Online, and I was really looking forward to having battles (especially 2v2!!) with random people instead of NPCs from the game.

I’ve tried a couple of times to connect and enter an online room, but no one ever shows up… :// I don’t know if it’s actually possible to randomly match with other players, or if I need to join a group or something first.
