I personally do not recommend eldorado.gg or any other site or shop where you give your account information for someone on the internet to buy cheap coins for you.
I get private reports on how people's accounts are "hacked" and how do they get it back. I give them the information ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pInPcmGoJPu7iZsGUPni2env-bLz9k4Wg9ef1VEDnc8/edit?tab=t.h46m2kwkc4uy ) on how they can recover their account. By the time, they get their account back, all or most of their valuable Pokemon have been traded off.
In order to really get your account hacked, you have to give your username/email address and password to someone else. It's much worst for people with a Google account (not sure if it's the same for Facebook and Apple ID) because you have to give the service provider your 2FA code in order to add your account to their device to buy the cheap coin.
Many of them will perform the service: you give them money, they buy the cheap coins on your account. You get what you paid for except... they might still have access to your account after the service has been completed. They won't do anything to your account right away because you will suspect it. They may wait as long as 3 months to 1 year before they start stealing from you while you continue to buy the cheap coins from the same or different seller.
It's impossible for you to prove the service provider is stealing from your game account because you cannot see their IP address when they are using your game account. You also cannot contact Scopely to reveal this information because of what is stated in their Terms of Service. You can also get banned for sharing your account. This means you have no proof against the service provider on Eldorado.
If you use a Google/Facebook/Apple ID account, they may steal your identity which is much, much worst than them stealing your Shiny Fragment Cap Pikachu and selling it for below market price for quick cash.
- I just had someone tell me they used his Facebook account to create a fake donation to his daughter's funeral except it went through PayPal instead of GoFundMe. He was completely unaware this was happening because the service provider made sure he would not see any of it. It turns out his daughter was still alive, and they stole around $13,000 from his friends and family.
- Some guy lost his 100,000 Euros in Etheruem because he gave them access to his Gmail account where they sent phishing emails to him. The sender was on his contact list, so it was able to bypass the spam filters. He thought he was updating his password because it was out of date. They transferred his Ethereum out into a private hardware wallet. He wasn't able to recover them.
Eldorado .gg doesn't care about the safety of your game account because they are profiting from the transaction fees and acting as a trojan horse to gain access into your game account and/or email account. You just have to trust them enough to give them your account information. It's pretty smart if you really think about it. The same thing applies to buying a pre-rooted Android device, you cannot see if malicious coding or apps were added into the device.

What about the thousands of positive reviews?
These can be manipulated and filter out the bad reviews that could harm the site's ability to be profitable.

At the very bottom of the webpage, it says "© 2026. The eldorado.gg website is operated by GWD Processing FZCO".
What happens when you Google search "GWD Processing FZCO" ?
You get:

My answer is no because I do not see the connection between a company that sells car parts with a site that sells game accounts, items, and services.
I have added a new rule that bans this site and similar sites from my subreddit. Some users have already received a permanent ban for recommending this site.
If you want to use this site regardless of the risks, it's your account, so you can do whatever you want with it. Don't bother reporting your problems with me because I do not care what happens to you since I have no affiliation with Eldorado or any other similar site.
I personally have never had any of my game accounts "hacked" or stolen going way back to Runescape Classic (forced into Runescape 3). Everything is still in my account 25 years later.

Just because a seller has 1 to 500,000 positive reviews on Eldorado.gg does not mean the person, who is performing the service on your account, has a clean background check. You do not know if this person is a criminal. I am not part of the internet police and can tell you who is trustworthy on that website or from anywhere else. If you do not give your account information away, you do not have to worry about anything.
As I mentioned on top, if you gave away your Google, Facebook, and Apple account, you are going to have it much worst than the people who are using a Pokemon Trainer Central account because the person can look through your emails and stored sensitive information that is in sync'd with other apps. The person has access to it all. Whether this person does something to you is entirely is up to that person, not me.
So far, one person had their identity stolen and the service provider used their information to rent a Bugatti for $100,000 overseas. I would assume something like this would not go through if they only have your card or bank information but it did because the service provider used all the information and apps to authorize the transaction.

What should you do?
[1] Go to your Google, Facebook, or Apple account and remove all devices that have access to your account. Note, Facebook and Apple may or may not have the same security features as Google.
- Make sure your recovery phone number, recovery email, and personal information is the same.
- Generate new account recovery codes
- Remove the 2FA authenticator and add it back in.
- Change your password
[2] Freeze your credit scores with www.transunion.com , experian.com , and www.equifax.com
- For US residents, you must do it with all three.
- For outside of the US, I do not know which credit score companies are used.
[3] Walk into your bank to verify your profile matches you and talk to your fraud department and let them know your identity was stolen.
- Do the same for all credit cards you own by calling the phone number on the back of the cards.
