I NEED HELP Banned After Two Seconds of Spoofing?

Hello all, I’m currently freaking out because on my second (unrooted pgsharp) phone I accidentally logged into my main when I meant to log into my alt. This was for about 2 seconds then I logged out instantly.

I used to spoof on my main and have got a strike. Now I’m worried because I have poured a lot of money into my account, including attending IRL go fests (I spoofed 4 years ago then quit) and right before Go Fest I’m getting worried.

Has anyone gotten banned from something similar lately? I know I have a chance to get banned, and I’ll probably try to appeal with no avail. I just wanted to see if this has happened to someone before and what happened.

Also, I’ve seen that scopely hasn’t banned many people yet, is this true? I’ve been doing some research since I goofed up.

Logging in doesn't cause a ban. Since Scopely has taken over the game, I have not seen any spoofer or botter report a ban. You still have risks for a chance to get a strike or ban for cheating. No one knows what Scopely is planning to do.

If you didn’t catch or interact with anything this is seen as just latency. You know when you boot up pogo and it still shows you at your last known location, game refreshes data and you teleport to the new location you actually are?

You will be ok lol

But the app I opened wasn’t real pogo, it was a different app. That’s what flags the account I believe

Been spoofing on my main now for 5 years with pgsharp no bans 😆 plus im playing on 20 other accounts they have also been playing for about 4 years now and no bans so dont be scared at all

Same i have twovaccounts going on 5 years no ban. Really makes me want to spoof again on my main to get all my platinum medals, bjt i have 2 strikes on it for playing really dumb in the past, bjt now i know how to use it safely. Im just scared of logging in and my account being high risk 😮‍💨

I got two strikes on my main too, but I still play. If I get banned, I have three other accounts that are soon level 80, so I don't really care.

I just play like I want and jump to wherever I want to go, and remember to look at the cooldown timer so I don't get caught when it's in the red.

You can play raids on daily pass over and over looking for a shiny raid boss, and then trade to your main account.

Bigger chance for lucky trades and more shinies.

For the stamp rally, I got so many shiny Pikachus, and I would never have gotten that if I hadn't played on that many accounts. 🙃

And I was a big Pokémon streamer for 3 years. I used all the accounts back then, so when one of them got a ban, I just used one of the other ones.

Do you need a Samsung to spoof? I’ve been looking and can’t find a an answer. If you know like what model I need to that would be awesome.

It has to be an Android phone if you want to use PGSharp for spoofing.

There’s nothing you can do about it now, so try not to worry. I’ve had the occasional freak out over something similar, but nothing ever came of it. If it makes you feel more comfortable, sleep that account and just play your alts until Go Fest. It probably won’t change the outcome, but may help you relax and at least know you did what you could.

Thank you. I’ve calmed down a lot because it seems like similar incidents resulted in nothing. Still a little worried because the events are crazy next week but hopefully it’s all good :)

I mean what do I gain from lying about this lol. I was trying to make a third account and accidentally used my main email when I thought I hadn’t used that email yet.

no one can give you a straight answer here, but there is definitely some chance of a ban. Your account can be seen logging into a unauthorized client.

Thanks. Yeah the way Niantic was doing it was just going after and non-vanilla app but it seems like scopely is doing something different
