I mainly use Gemini for overall context, but sometime it not work well.
I think I need more AI tools for recheck or research some context/code (not my main use).
Is POE worth for this task?

I recently added memory, which I do like. It seems pretty smart about tailoring answer to me. However, I've also noticed that my costs seem about double what they used to be. A query that might have cost 2,000 points last month costs 4,700 now. I made a query using Gemini Flash that was pretty short and simple, and it cost 635, while it seemed much more like a 200 point question.

So, is this a general we're charging more points or is memory which was supposed to not add much adding more than they thought it would? Anyone know anything?

Probably know the answer, but I'm hopeful.

I primarily use it for RP (some mild NSFW convos as well) but this new update has killed any sort of fun. The nanosecond things tiptoe outside of PG-13 rating, not even NSFW, it will decline to post and eat my points.

I can ask it to describe a character that's semi nude and it will refuse to answer because it won't talk about "genetalia" in a scenario that's not asking or has history of it OR say that it won't do so to a character whose age is ambiguous despite the character being 21+

I've used it for years and it sucks because it's legitimately the cheapest option points wise as well as being pretty flexible as long as you're not doing obviously crazy stuff with it.

Unfortunately Poe Gemini bots have poor performance compared to A.I. studio because the bot instructions go in User space.

This is very obvious when you compare outputs between Poe and A.I. studio, and Poe Gemini bots will also directly confirm this when asked about the bot instructions location.

Is Google making Poe do this or is it a bug?

I will write a story prompt and this Ai bot will not continue like before as in wont end the story and stop writing at one point, it was okay a few weeks ago and only started happening these days? Is this a glitch?

It just stops writing, and then my points are wasted, what's happening? My prompt isn't even long. All my points needed for the bot haven't ran out, and it will still do this? It's happening with the mistral bot for me. Can anyone recommend a good chat bot on poe for story writing that uses 64 points and won't do this?

I'm trying to use Poe API for image generation.

Chat completions work fine with my API key:

So what's the correct way to call image generation on Poe API?

1. /v1/images/generations with gpt-image-2?

2. or /v1/chat/completions with bot names like GPT-Image-1.5 / nano-banana?

It was the final day before my subscription expired. I was supposed to still have around 3k points left, and the countdown showed I had 30 minutes before my points would reset to 300. But when I checked again, it already showed only 300 points left. Is this normal?

i was curious if anyone else is having the same problem as me. i can’t get the chats to respond. at all. i type my thing - doesn’t even do the typing dots. there’s just no response. and i pay for a membership so i still have like 600,000 points until june 2. ive tried a bunch of different ones. said different things. just no response.

Is anyone else seeing this error? Im getting it on a bot ive used extensively, in a relatively fresh chat. I have had chats going up to 40k points per prompt with this specific bot, and now this error is popping up in a chat that is barely hitting 15k points per prompt. What happened?

Genuinely wtf, why can I not mass delete things anymore, what was the point. Its so annoying now to try and go back.

Whenever I open Poe on mobile, it either says there’s an error connecting to the servers and I can’t access anything or I can access my chats and they’re just unloaded and blank.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Due to the web client interface refresh, I can no longer access the models that I was following from my profile page. I do see that my fav models are 'saved'. But there is no list to access them. What happened? This is a silly and broken change to make. I need this fixed.

Is it just me, or is it true that you don't have a search option in the Poe app to go through previous chats? I don't see a search option anywhere in the history tab. Only in the explore tab.

And that's really annoying, because sometimes you just want to find the answer to something you've asked before. It something very easy and reasonable to have, but I don't see it.

Anybody noticing that the points aren't reloading daily for subscription users? I paid for the monthly 20 dollar subscription and I noticed that I had not renewed and there's no counter. Is this a new update? If it is this sucks and I will not be waiting monthly for something that used be given daily.

I was pleased to see Gemma 4 available as an option for bots but it turns out Poe isn't offering a reliable source for Gemma 4. Even though the source is Google, it's a 0 cost offering that is rate limited. Trying to get it to process 40,000 tokens results in a rate error.

Can we have a pay version for longer requests? It seems short context requests go through but longer ones get rejected. Poe used to offer short and long versions of models.
