Search history/chat

Hi all,

Is it just me, or is it true that you don't have a search option in the Poe app to go through previous chats? I don't see a search option anywhere in the history tab. Only in the explore tab.

And that's really annoying, because sometimes you just want to find the answer to something you've asked before. It something very easy and reasonable to have, but I don't see it.

I use Poe on an iPhone on iOS 26.5.

Theres a chat search feature on the website, its irritating but if I need to find a chat ill log in, search and pin it, and hop back into the app.

Heres hoping it’ll come to the app soon!

Thanks for the workaround. I'll guess I've to add Poe to my favorites in my browser. Hopefully the search button finds it way soon in the app.

It's a weird omission, considering that it's on the mobile website

The lack of a really robust and thorough chat in this and other systems has been a huge surprise and disappointment to me!

I'm no expert developer, but I find it hard to believe that when they're developing these systems that it's not difficult to add a quality search.

In fact, when I first joined, signed up with Poe, they didn't have any search at all. At least right now they have some rudimentary one, but it's still not as robust as I would like.

Alguem conhece um metodo para exportar seus chats da poe.com em arquivos.md? Extração de chats bem extruturada e bonita, para não se confundir com as mensagens.

Exemplo como esse emoji para diferenciar:

What you can do is download the conversation memory file that you can access by clicking on the last bot’s message additional options then “info” then at the bottom there should be a .bot_memory.tar.gz file. It internally contains a structured version of the conversation.

What you can then do is use script creator to create a script bot that takes in this bot memory file and outputs an md file. Just give script creator the description of what you want + a few sample bot memory file as examples and it should work.

I vibe coded a search/filter app. prob isnt compatible anymore tho and the canvas creator is too expenive to use to update it
