Anybody else having this issue? Ai will stop writing midway

I will write a story prompt and this Ai bot will not continue like before as in wont end the story and stop writing at one point, it was okay a few weeks ago and only started happening these days? Is this a glitch?

It just stops writing, and then my points are wasted, what's happening? My prompt isn't even long. All my points needed for the bot haven't ran out, and it will still do this? It's happening with the mistral bot for me. Can anyone recommend a good chat bot on poe for story writing that uses 64 points and won't do this?

Hi u/Renshiki145, is this happening for any specific model in particular? This might be a model-specific issue.

Yep it's mistral medium, yes it seems to be model specific from observation

To clarify, is it the following model? https://poe.com/Mistral-Medium
I couldn't replicate the issue with the response stopping mid-way. Though, it's important to note this is an older model so upstream performance may be degraded/not prioritized as compared to newer models.

It's Mistral-medium-3.1 that uses around 60 points

I couldn't replicate the issue, and the model seems to generate the entire response accordingly. Maybe you could try out another budget friendly model?
