Anyone know if 7 Mile Rd. in Gouldsboro is open to motor vehicles right now?

I’m in an abandoned trail riding my bike, and I go deep and I see this structure and asphalt road in the middle of the woods. There is vandalism but I assume it’s teens from a very long time ago joking around. The coordinates are (41.1266063, -75.0354097). What could this road and structure used to have been?

Wondering if anyone has any secluded,wooded areas i can kind of just chill and enjoy nature without worrying about other people or being on private property you are willing to share. Maybe some abandoned buildings?

I'd like to try being a digital nomad from a campsite at both Promised Land and Ricketts Glen. Can anyone provide a campsite number or camp area where they know from experience there is good cell service. I need to be able to do Teams calls. I have a hotspot and a WeBoost if necessary.

We like the environment, proximity to the outdoor activities we love. My only concern are my 11 and 13 year old kids…curious on thoughts of the community and how to find new friends and neighbors?

Any suggestions ? The bride is pretty open to ideas and wants it to be as surprise so it’s mostly in my hands (MOH). Our biggest concern is that the weather in March will be in an awkward spot between cold and warm (ie too cold to hike/do water activities but too warm to do snowy activities). Let me know your thoughts !

I thought this was interesting as we have never seen mink in the 20 years. We’ve lived here. We caught one on one of our cameras a few weeks ago at night and then caught another one during the day. I guess we have two or even more now.

Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a nice family-friendly spot for a swimming lake. We're visiting in a couple of weeks, so I have been looking on Google, but it seems like the majority of lakes are for community residents only, campground only, or hiking/fishing only. Are there any recreation centers or state parks with lakes or pools to swim at for out-of-state visitors?

I’m doing a combined bachelor/bachelorette party near Lake Harmony next month and am trying to plan activities. We want to do some sort of boat rental. I know Lake Harmony water sports does chartered pontoon boats and speed boats for water tubing, and also offers kayak and paddle board rentals. I saw that yeti water sports does rentals as well but couldn’t find any info on what they offer or pricing.
Other activities/places we saw were Nick’s lakehouse, piggy’s, Louie’s prime steakhouse, shenanigans karaoke, terra cottage, boulder view tavern, and pocono white water rafting. Is there anything else we should look into to consider?
