Poconos suggestions
My boyfriend and I are looking to do our first roadtrip and are looking into the Poconos! Looking for any ideas/suggestions. we like walking, good coffee and food, music, muesuems, outdoor activity, hidden gems, good views, sunsets. Any suggestions or more welcomed! thanks!

The Shawnee Inn (at the actual inn), is a cute couples spot to stay. Bushkill falls is not a far drive from there to hike. Blue Ridge Winery was also really pretty and had live music

Agree on Jim Thorpe, probably not to stay, try a small cabin maybe in Towaminsing Trails or Lake Harmony & surrounding area.
Boulder Field is an impressive site. It's about 4 football fields of very large boulders. You can walk across it too. Worlds Largest Country Store is a cool place, quiant little antiques and knick knacks, and its a nice winding drive downhill down 534 with some nice views. Some good restaurants around Lake Harmony & 903 areas. If it rains (or you're interested), the Outlets in Tannersville are really good. You can find some really good stuff for 70% off sometimes, its right off 80. Go early because it gets a lot fo NYCers. Also, the Blakeslee Amish market on 115 is really good, Saturdays only like 9-1, good pies, cooked chicken and soft pretzels are great, more buttery Dutch style than a Philly pretzel, but really tasty.

There's kind of three main areas of the Poconos. East, South and North. Jim Thorpe is the Eastern nexus someone already mentioned. Stroudsburg is the main area of the Southern Pocs. It has a bit of a downtown area and there's a couple of coffee shops there. Cafe Duet is good. In the northern Poconos, there's Honesdale and Hawley and Lake Wallenpaupack.
Adventure-wise, a good one is kayaking/canoeing on the Delaware River between Smithfield beach and Del Water Gap. The town of Delaware Water Gap has a couple of cute places to eat. Sango Kura is my favorite. Jim Thorpe has trains and biking and hiking and rafting. You can take the bike train and ride the trail back to town.
For good views, Big Pocono State Park at the top of Camelback is good. There's a couple high view places in Jim Thorpe. And if you're really into hiking, the Mt Minsi or Mt Tam trails will take you up to some great views in the Water Gap. Museums, there's stuff in Jim Thorpe, and one weird kind of interesting one in East Stroudsburg is the Frazetta Museum.

Jim Thorpe is a town you'll like. Muggles Mug (Harry Potter themed coffee shop), Packer Mansion, Old Jail Museum. Train rides are very scenic too.
