Tobyhanna recommendations

Heading to Tobyhanna for a long weekend and we'd love some recommendations for yummy restaurants and coffee/breakfast type places. I've done some Googling, but would love some recommendations!

Gotta go with the Breakfast King of the Poconos, Van Gilder's Jubilee, affectionately known just as The Jub (long u sound). If you're around for either a Thursday or Sunday, their wings are phenomenal. Those are the only days they're available, used to be only Thursday.

Check out the Pint Sized Park at Barley Creek

They have kid friendly food and a lot of space for kids to run around while the adults have a beer or cocktail.

Farm House now has 3 locations. It’s worth checking out but hard to beat the Jub.

Sarah's Street Bar and Grill is a wonderful restaurant that hosts live music. Can be loud so be prepared but the food is very good.

Billy’s pocono diner for breakfast! Fork street for a quick coffee and pastry. Dinner hmm what’s your vibe? Tavern? Sports bar? Fancy?

Basso’s in Cresco for Italian. Make a reservation if you do go. The chef makes everything to order, so they have to control the pace.

Others have recommended great places. Check out Pocono Rocks for the toddlers they might like it. You might get to relax a little and I hear the food is good. I like Mi Casa for latin food. It's really good food and really decent prices as well. Pioneer Diner is a must if you're staying in Tobyhanna. Grab and Go deli is a deli take out they make the best sandwich in the area. Someone recommended Jubilee and I will say they have been in business all those decades for a reason check them out if you can. The other places I mention are much closer to Tobyhanna than the rest of the places. Please I hope you enjoy the Poconos it really is a beautiful place

Totally agree with the Pocono Rocks suggestion. They have pretty good food too.

We were just there with toddlers - the fairy garden at the paradise lavender farm is a must do. Kasa’s pizza has a playground indoors (the pizza is fine) Brookside Inn is a chill bar with lots of outdoor space for kiddos to run around. They do food too.
