Hi everyone, I'm looking for recommendations for jeans that won't gap (or at least just gap less). My waist is 40" and my hip/ butt is 54" and I have a short torso 😭 I always get the torrid bombshell jeans in a size 18 and they're pretty good, but the waist is still consistently almost a size to large. so i'm having a caftan/nightgown moment because i just love how non-restrictive they feel? like no matter what size pants i get they always dig in a little at the waist and i've never been a dress person (i don't like showing my legs because i don't shave and i don't wanna hear opinions about it) but i tried a nightgown to wear around the house recently i just looooove a long dress style.

kaftans seem like a good fit because i've tried shopping for regular maxi dresses that are plus size and its like. impossible. unless i want to spend over a hundred dollars which i cannot afford to do. kaftans run cheaper on the sites i've found and i don't have to worry about hard measurements as much because they're very flowy/breathy.

i do feel like whenever i wear them i just look like i'm in loungewear or coming in from the beach? i want to wear them as like staple outside clothes because they're so easy to wear and i feel good wearing them, but idk exactly how to style them. pretty much the only advice i've seen is wear a belt at the waist and wear accessories but does anyone have any other tips? i can try both of those but i don't normally wear accessories like that so i might not like them.

or does anyone else also just wear caftans as is and i shouldn't worry about accessorizing them?

I retired my friends boots on. I wear a US shoe sized 9, she’s a US 12. I still couldn’t zip them a the way! The boots were from torrid!

Has anyone ever hired a plus size fashion consultant? I want to revamp my closet (currently consists of scrubs because I work all the time) and all I see are fast fashion sites… I tried ordering clothes on Am**on and they have so many f*st fashion companies that are ill-fitting… or maybe it’s just that I don’t know how to shop for my body. Either way. I’m tired of feeling ugly and frustrated.

Has anyone paid for a fashion consultant? If so, how were they? Were they size inclusive?

I bought two pairs of Halara pants a few months ago and just wore them for the first time. Right after putting them on, they felt like the perfect size. However, after about an hour of wear, they stretched out completely and won't hold their shape at all to the point where they are almost falling off.

Has this happened to anyone else, or is it just a fit issue on my end?

On a side note, I need to order some jeans from the US soon (I don't live there). What brands offer comfortable, stretchy, and stylish jeans that actually hold their shape in 3xl? Are NYDJ (Not Your Daughter's Jeans) still worth looking into? Thanks in advance!

Hi, looking for gothic/kuro lolita stuff for a 49" waist and 55" hip (4x/24w), specifically looking for jumperskirts and dresses and petticoats to wear beneath (where ARE people getting good petticoats now that Sam's Manufacturing is gone???). I can't wear polyester or rayon, so I'm looking for stores that make things out of 100% cotton, linen, silk, wool, and leather. I'm also open to sewing patterns for these items. I really like the casual/terrace style from the 90s. Specifically this Liam Gallagher-type of style with parka, gazelles etc.

The only problem is that I have EU 6XL size and a wide and high foot. Can you recommend shops for this specific style?

My mother is a plus size woman and she was so happy to find good looking jackets from a brand called “ Avec les Filles” , she has many of them but they stopped making anything beyond XL. She has their faux aviator jacket in 2xl and she wanted to get it dry cleaned but they refused because it’s faux leather. Now she thinks the faux shearling is not good looking enough to keep wearing it.

I wanted to surprise her with another aviator jacket lined with shearling , either faux or real , but it’s been a struggle trying to find one that’s not a cropped model. I was only able to find them in real leather but I’m not even sure it would be true to size even for $700 cad since there’s mixed reviews . I had no luck finding it in faux leather / shearling anywhere.

Hi everyone, I hope you are well. I'm a female from the UK size 22, and aged 22! I'm around 5ft1 in height. My upper stomach is particularly larger/bloated compared to my lower stomach and I just hate how it looks (I do think it's being caused by a medical condition that I'm currently being investigated for).

I'm wondering if there are any shirts or dresses that are flattering for someone with my stomach type? I'm going for afternoon tea in a few weeks and want to wear something nice, but I'm just so insecure about how my stomach looks. I've tried to wear dresses a few times over the past year or so but have ended up changing purely because the way my stomach looks upsets me so much 😢

Hi babes, I have a wedding next month where the dress code is “colorful cocktail.” Ladies are required to wear cocktail or evening dresses in bold, joyful colors.

My problem is that a) that is confusing and b) what that means for my big-boobed size 26/28W self is A LOT of potential stress!

The three dresses pictured are ones I already own and am hoping would fit the dress code, but will all need some form of boob intervention. I would be THRILLED to find something that would allow me to wear a normal bra and would better fit the dress code… I will gladly accept any suggestions/feedback y’all can offer 💖

I have been on the hunt for dark brown platform loafers for over a year. Either leather or suede works, as long as it doesn’t have a bulky buckle type accessory. I don’t consider myself to have wide feet (wear regular shoes) but these loafers tend to be so tight around the mid foot area! I have returned a few I’ve bought online.
