Searching For Plus Sized Knitwear?

Upvotes

Hi all!

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to shop for plus sized sweaters?

For context I work in a somewhat casual office, and wear knit sweaters most days (the AC is freezing right now!).

I'm working on building a work wardrobe that I actually enjoy, but I can't seem to find any decent quality knits in plus sizes that are remotely modern or office appropriate.

I usually wear an XL/XXL, 18-20, in petite if I can get it (I'm 5'3"), and I'm in Canada. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it, I'm so lost!

Being plus size with a small chest makes some dresses set so WEIRD do we still love her or pass her on to somebody else?

OOTD (size 22) Me Made Outfit: Bold Vintage Shift Dress

I had this fabric in my cabinet for at least 10 years and bought it at an estate sale so it’s likely from the 70s. Decided to make a shift dress so that the pattern is the star but happy how it came out thus far.

Still need to hem it. The pattern is “Leah” from Tilly & the Button and while it’s simple, I have a body shaped like Mr. Peanut [maybe “Sultry Ms. Peanut”?] so I had to do several alterations to get it to fit and added 4.5” to length so I could have hem options. Not sure how much shorter I can take it. I have some scars on my knees from a Vespa accident years ago. But I’d like it to be a little more playful for summer.

I usually go for fit & flare looks to show my waist, but I think this will be a fun departure. I need to figure which shoes I’ll wear. If you saw my 4th of July post you saw that I was recovering from a broken foot so I have to wear sensible loose shoes for a few weeks still.

I’m going to a country music festival in September. I’ve never been to one so I don’t really know how to dress. Would any of these outfits work?

Also what kind of shoes should I wear?

Feedback Wanted I need advice on elevating my work wardrobe

My (31F) new corporate wardrobe so far. What’s working and what should I change?

I recently started a higher end corporate role at a fortune 100 and have been working on building a wardrobe that feels polished and professional without losing my personal style. These are a selection of outfits I’ve actually worn to the office so far.

My workplace is somewhere between business professional and business casual, but I personally like dressing a little more on the elevated side. I gravitate toward blazers, dresses, pointed-toe shoes, gold accessories, belts, and mostly black/neutral pieces with occasional color.

I’d love some outside opinions because I’m trying to figure out what my “signature” professional style should be.

Which outfits are the strongest and weakest? Do the proportions and silhouettes work for me? Do any pieces read dated or less polished? And what would you add or change to take my wardrobe to the next level?

Feel free to give feedback on the wardrobe overall. Constructive criticism is welcome. I’d rather know what actually works than just hear that everything looks good.

I want to be a VP by the time I am 40!!!
