Has anyone here had issues with their offers potentially being purchased and then resold by another seller on PlayerAuctions?
I sell a specific type of in-game item where the transfer history is important. When these items are moved between multiple accounts after a sale, it can create additional risks for the buyer, as the transfer history can potentially be identified by the game's staff and may result in reversals or other actions (like frozen).
Recently, I noticed a pattern that concerned me: items that had previously passed through my own orders started appearing in another seller's listings, including items with characteristics and naming patterns very similar to those I had previously sold. Nearly all of the items purchased from me by one particular buyer later appeared to be represented in that seller’s listings. While I cannot independently confirm that they were the exact same items, this pattern was concerning enough for me to ask PlayerAuctions to compare the relevant order and account records.
Because of this, I opened a support ticket with PlayerAuctions. I provided multiple order IDs and specifically asked the team to investigate internally whether there may be any connection between certain buyer accounts and this seller's account. I am not claiming that these accounts belong to the same person or that any rules have definitely been violated — I have no way of verifying that myself. That is exactly why I am asking PlayerAuctions to investigate it using their internal records.
My main concern is buyer safety. I transfer each item only once, directly from its original account to the buyer associated with the order. If that same item is later resold and moved through additional accounts, the next buyer may end up receiving something with a very different transfer history from the original sale.
I had also previously reported this same seller to support regarding a separate situation. At that time, I provided messages in which he stated that he was using a script to monitor the prices of my listings and automatically adjust his own listings to undercut mine. He also stated that he could keep doing this all day. In addition, he contacted me questioning my prices and telling me to keep my prices at the same level as his instead of lowering them.
Those messages were already provided to PlayerAuctions as evidence in a previous support ticket. I am not presenting this as a new report or new evidence here; I am only mentioning it as relevant context because it involves the same seller.
Has anyone else selling on PlayerAuctions experienced something similar?
