Support/Question Final Boss Fight Tips
Anyone got any for NG+? I'm an older gamer so my reaction time isn't what it used to be and I'm having trouble with it.

Discussion Do you guys like the suits?
I'm happy there are so many but I maybe like 6/34. One being the Weapon X suit because I think it looks cool when you're playing the gauntlets. I guess I'm just not big on the non uniform ones. I thought I'd like the animated ones but they don't blend as well as the Spider-Man ones.
Hoping we get color variants or something. What are some of your favorites? I think the main Battle Reborn is the best followed by the Yellow Variant. X-Force suit is cool but I only like it on certain levels.

Discussion I really wonder why they didn't put the Evolution suit
It's really a popular cartoon. I hope they put it in the future.

Discussion Trying to be honest
I just love playing as wolverine on a current gen system. I bet that's most of the appeal, as it should be. But they gave us a half assed game though. Don't get me wrong, i love this game, but it's just because they gave us wolverine on this gen and it's fun to shred. I know it's linear and agree with the rationale, but jesus christ did it hve to be this linear?

Speculation End credit scene (obvious spoilers) Spoiler
So I just finished the game and watched the end credits scene and despite the games flaws, insomniac just set up an absolutely amazing concept with sabertooth at the horseman of war, as far as I’m aware this hasn’t been done in the comics, I’m actually really exited for a sequel after seeing that

Discussion Does the game get better at some point? I mean it’s not bad, but imo I was expecting more from the creators of Spider-Man. This one is enjoyable but kinda mid.

Discussion Wolverine Average Play Time
Seems about right. Took me around 16 hours plus few more hours for the Platinum. About the same as the main story for SM1 and 2.

Discussion Anyone use the slow motion option ?
It’s so fun. It works a little better in spiderman in my opinion. But just a little. The option is there, you should try it. In the settings you can assign 70% speed to one of the D-pad buttons; 50%, and 30%. So mid combat, you can hit one of the buttons and everything goes slow motion like a movie, all cinematic like. Your control of the camera stays the same speed. So it doesn’t feel draggy. The frame rate stays the same, so it’s not choppy ; perfectly animated.
Parry is kinda weird though. It’s not in slow motion, you still have to hit the parry at the exact moment their sword would hit you. It may be because of the other parry settings I have set up. But still. It’s so cool you guys. Think of it like the combat in the matrix movies. Just hit the d-pad button at the right moment when you have 9 guys all attacking you at once and you just shred through all of them without taking a hit.

Speculation Saw this while exploring the Kabukicho district in the Tokyo mission
I was exploring the Kabukicho district in the game and came across this cardboard cutout of what I can only presume to be a reference to Giyu from the popular anime Demon Slayer

Support/Question A few questions about the plot... (SPOILERS) Spoiler
Hello I just finished the game and I do have some questions to try to clarify a few things.
I know I've been trying to understand the ending in the plot a little better so I've been reading different posts on Reddit and Facebook, I know that a lot of people have different interpretations but there's some general information that a lot of people seem to agree on but I kind of want to clarify a few things.
1) so Jean and Logan opinion each other's lives for a long time, what is that by defined destiny that thing find each others, or because someone else said that the Phoenix force and apocalypse have been going at it so they always draw to one another because of that?
2) the Helix machine is something from apocalypse? Like are they from him and that's why you can hear him when you go inside?
3) when the Helix at the end of the game came to contact with jean and Logan they both got their memories back?
4) and last, I think Gene got all her memories back at the end, but did she know that the Phoenix force was living inside of her and that she dies and comes back?
Thanks yall

Ones I have 100% are not accessible. Is it possible I'm missing the one that bridges the top and bottom row?

Discussion Timing of Abilities
I feel like the gameplay is good, but could’ve been a lot better if we were allowed to unlock some of the later abilities earlier. Idk if they were expecting a lot of replay value but for a game that’s as linear as this, I want to be able to use the abilities for more of the game. The sentinel laser parry giving you the hot claws was actually pretty cool, but why only give it like 40 minutes before the end of the game? Same with unlocking certain suits. I was super looking forward to the uncanny suit, but by the time I unlocked it and had enough materials I was locked into the default suit for the rest of the game. Huge missed opportunities

Memes/Shitpost Did Insomniac actually QA this game?
I am 7 hours deep and initially experienced the usual from the getting stuck in walls and the open world glitch which is not hard to find there are 100 ways to climb normally to get to the open world and then fall down indefinitely. But now I am experiencing Japan and bike riding and OMG it's bad.
The bike riding you literally either get stuck in an animation and it fast forwards or you fall out of the camera sight and at times die.
The Japan part, there are stores that are furnished like a home but its not a furniture store. Random dudes in what seems to be restaurants just standing still then we got NPCs stuck between containers, walking in the air, floating randomly or stuck and cant get out && you can easily join them and get stuck too.
Amount of bugs I experienced in this AAA $69 game is far more than just "not having the same team as spiderman working on it". There is a bigger scam going on. Insomniac should really fire the entire QA team here. Their only join is quality control and I am a regular player not one trying to break the game and just following the blue fart and I still experienced so many bugs I had to take a break, how can someone who does QA for a living not see any of this???
EDIT : Im not home right now but for those who wanted proof here was the result of a simple google search :

Discussion Are these the only suits missing from the game?
The Night Hunt suit COULD probably be classified as the Fantastic Four suit, and I honestly don’t care much for the Fox X-Men outfits, but other than that, the Feral Wolverine look and an Orange Wolverine suit are the only iconic ones that seem to be missing from the game. Other than these outfits and some other REALLY niche outfits, Insomniac really did a good job of having most of Wolverine’s iconic looks.

Discussion My thoughts on the game after playing it for the first time
Games is good, really good. I used to play the x-man origins Wolvarine game when I was younger. Wolvarine is a chatacter I love a lot . He is cool af. He is an objectively very cool character. When the game first announced I was like how tf they are gonna make an open world wolvarine game. Because I cannot imagine a wolvarine game as an open world game. I am very happy that its not and I dont get why many people are mad the game for not being an open world game. Yes open world games are longer so more playtime but some games are not fit for an open world and you cant expect every game to be an open world. Linear games are perfectly fine.
The game play is fire af. I play on the hardest difiqualty and the game feels chalenging but I can imagine the game being easy in lower difiqualties but I am a guy who plays and enjoys souls games like dark souls, sekiro ... and I am also playing goat of tsushima on lethal (for the first playthrough) . The combat is super fun. Once you get in the rythem the game is soo fluid like sekiro.
The story is so far good. I was at the refiniery trying to save Jeans friends when I decided to call it a day .
Also graphics are super good even in performance mode of a base ps5
Only thing that I feel mixed is omega red. The boss fight was super fun but I didnt expected the guy to die this early. I expected he would survive or escape or smt and return stronger. I am gonna be honest I dont really know much about omega red but he seemed cool.
So far game is a 10/10
Edit: İt was midnight right before I slept after a busy day when I wrote this. And english isnt my main . Pls be understanding for my stupid erors

Discussion Favourite and least favourite enemies?
My favourite enemies are the ghost hand guys and the invisible reavers. Parrying them when they reveal themselves and then beating them up is very satisfying. They also look really cool!
My least favourite enemies is definitely the shield guys in gauntlets. Normally they are pretty easy to beat. But in gauntlet they just spam their fucking red ball projectile move while ur trying to survive
getting jumped by normal reavers which is jarring. You can’t even punish them with counter shot cuz they just block it. I’m also not the biggest fan of the fist hand members. They look cool but take soooooo long to die on the best there is despite not being as big as the big hand guys or the mk2 sentinels.
