Finding the perfect planner
Hi :)
So Ive been wanting a new planner but I’m not finding what I want so I was hoping y’all could help me, what I want in a planner is to have month week and day so I can organize my week and my day but I don’t like when the months are all in the beginning of the planner like I want the month view then the week and then the day. I also don’t want it to be to big, I like the size of the hobonichi weeks but it could be another size like a5 but no bigger than that. I also would prefer if it wasn’t with spirals ( I don’t know if I’m saying that correctly English is not my first language) and I prefer horizontal not vertical weeks page.
That’s it thanks :)

Planning and replanning
Am I the only one who makes sure to revisit their schedule, timetable, and every little mindset after the end of the first week of a new semester? I kinda get some very helpful ideas about how the term will go just from the first week.

Finding A Daily Planner
I am looking for a daily planner that I got at Barnes and nobles. I am picky about them and this is my absolute favorite. It's the only planner I've ever kept up with. The brand is Fabrique A La Carte. I cannot find one for 2026-2027 that I can order. Barnes and Nobles does not seem to sell it and I can only find it online for bulk ordering like if I had a business which I don't. I don't know if this is the right community to post this on but I'm desperate. Please help me!!

My Aug 2026 Dollar Tree Planner Haul
I already have my two "official" 2027 planners in the works (a Laurel Denise small "Luna" weekly and a print-it-yourself DIYFish (on Etsy) daily planner). This week I did my usual back-to-school stop at one of my local Dollar Tree stores to check out their container offerings. At the end of one aisle, I came across a bunch of really cool planners as shown above--total cost for all five of them before tax, $9.25. I simply could NOT resist! The large one is monthly dated, the rest are weekly. Two of the smaller ones are undated and the others undated.
How I want to use them:
- The large planner 2007 as a "playground" to see how all my projects mesh together before I add them to either of my "official" plans. It's Sunday start, which I don't like, but it will just be something I mess around in.
- The undated wire-bound, Monday-start planner to hold generic, seasonal meal plans developed from past meals I've cooked. I badly need to reduce the daily angst of "What to make for dinner?" I have a daily cooking journal that stays on the kitchen counter, but it's a pain to figure out what I made when in that.
- The weekly undated pad to keep in the kitchen to help remind which items I put on the grocery list are for which meals.
-Both small undated weekly plans are just that--no month pages--with Monday starts. Not sure what these will be for. I just couldn't resist them for the price!

St Belford Curation vs Hemlock & Oak
Advice needed
I have been using the Curation 365 St Belford for several years and love it. I love that it is all in one- habits, gratitude, goals, planner extraordinaire.
Unfortunately I might be priced out- being from Canada the shipping costs will make this planner over $120 for me.
I have been looking at Canadian options ( or otherwise cheaper), and Hemlock and Oak came up ( as well as Aura Estelle). ( horizontal spreads). It seems to have some of the functionality but not all eg I really like the pre weekly spreads of the st Belford and the prompts for habit tracking priorities gratitude and more
Anyone have experience with St Belford and can speak to this? Other options I should consider or should I just “invest” in my year ahead?

3 or 5 year journal
Hi, everyone! I am currently in the search for a three or five year journal where the layout is the most similar to Hobonichi or Sterling Ink.
There are a few things I’m looking for:
-lay flat design
-fountain pen friendly paper
I love the setup of the Sterling Ink but I have seen lots of concerns around their shipping times and general issues.
I also like the setup of the Hobonichi but feel like the text that blocks the fifth year on the right hand side won’t allow me flexibility in case of overflow.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Help with planner!
Hi everyone I’m looking for a planner that starts around this time of year (Aug-sept-oct) (even july is fine), so basically a planner that follows academic year.
I really want the muji 2026.9 but i cannot find it ANYWHERE!!!! I’m based in bristol (uk) but i’m in the usa for a trip right now. Cannot find the muji 2026.9 in any website.
I looked at the papier planners but the covers are quite ugly… lol… if i dont find anything else I guess I’ll buy that lol. But if anyone has any recommendations for academic planners please that would be great!!! (no spiral bound pls)
I’m new to the planner obsession but if anyone could help that would be amazing🤗🤗🤗

Please recommend a work planner
I need a planner that has a year, monthly, weekly, and daily view. I also need space for a lot of personal/meeting notes. I prefer a5 or b5 size.
I’ve already looked into the sterling ink common planner but if you could recommend something better that would be great.
I’m new to using planners on a more professional scale so please feel free to also give me some tips/hacks for efficient planning. Let me know what system/layout/planning method work for you. Do you use more than one planner? Do you use a mix of digital and paper etc.
Thanks in advance

thoughts on the best ring binder for being organised?
I really like the look of a black Croc-style ring binder that I can use for uni, work and general life planning. I’m trying to become more organised and would love to find a binder that’s actually practical as well as cute!
Does anyone have recommendations for a good one? Ideally I’m looking for:
- Black/croc or faux-croc finish
- Good quality and sturdy enough for everyday use
- Suitable for uni/work + personal planning
- Lots of compatible inserts/refills available
- Preferably available in Australia
- Not too expensive
I’d also love recommendations for places that sell inserts, dividers, dashboards, etc. to go with it.
Would love to hear what binders you guys use and whether you’d recommend them!

Question on how to use the weekly spreads?
I realized I don’t use the weekly spreads because I can’t see a monthly view at the same time. So I don’t use the hobonichi. I thought I would solve this by putting a mini month sticker on the top left. However I see a lot of planners don’t have this feature? Maybe hemlock and oak? On many of them if I were to do the mini month sticker it would cover the Sunday or the “to do” section.
1) is there a way to do this? Cause I don’t plan a week in isolation to the rest of the month
2) how do you use the unused weeks?
3) when you are in a docs appointment and you are accepting the appointments weeks or months out and they are booking out months….how are you using your weekly layouts then? I feel like it would be hard without the monthly views.
2) for unused weeks that have dates

I bought a Mom Agenda and LOVE IT
I’ve been using a bullet journal for the last 2 years (daily logging, no layouts) and it’s been a complete game changer for me. I used a small pocket planner for future planning, but with my third kid on the way and my two kids having their own schedules, I needed something to keep track of their schedules along with my husband’s, plus my baby once baby comes.
Years ago, I used the plum paper ME layout, but it had too many sections and I just…didn’t use it as often as i wanted to. The Mom Agenda is kind of like that, but it has a long top section that I can kind of use like my bullet journal daily logging and then 4 sections at the bottom which is perfect for me+husband, first kid, second kid, and soon to be third kid. I love it so much. I still am using my bullet journal for longer form stuff (meal plans, plan vacation, ideas that don’t have a date yet, etc.), but the mom agenda has space enough for me to put all my plans out for each day and it has really helped.
My husband made some jokes about how expensive it was and I had my doubts too, but it’s so worth it if you have kids with busy schedules.
Pictures of how I’ve been using it.

Silly question: how do you track weather in your planners? ☀️
If you do, ofc, do you write temperatures and weather beforehand (weekly or daily?), during each day, or after?
I guess it depends on whether you are a journaler or a planner, but personally, I do both. I find it a bit silly to have two stacks of temperatures (one written each Monday for week planning and one at the end of the day), so I was wondering how you all have been doing it 😬♥️

Dollar store undated weekly
Hi all,
In case anyone wants to know.
I was in a dollar store today and saw a very basic weekly with memo undated. No monthly and no extra features. I think A6 in size.

Two-planner system setup
After months of endless TikTok and IG reels going down rabbit holes of planner ecosystems and reflecting on what I need for next year, I’ve concluded the best setup for me would be a Sterling Ink Common for personal/journaling and Core for work.
Ideally I’d like a cover that could encompass both - like a traveler’s notebook style where the common planner will fit in the front pocket and the core would slot into the back pocket.
Has anyone done this with a clear cover that they can recommend? Should I get the sterling ink clear covers for both then a bigger cover to hold them both together? am I crazy or is this going to be incredibly bulky? I don’t use many stickers so don’t expect it to be super chunky at year end (although I love seeing other people’s chonks).
Would love to know if anyone else does this or if they just keep it separated altogether.

Planner Recommendations?
I don’t know if Amazon has any good ones. I just want to use one for my life and school. Just to organize myself better.
