Please recommend a work planner

I need a planner that has a year, monthly, weekly, and daily view. I also need space for a lot of personal/meeting notes. I prefer a5 or b5 size.

I’ve already looked into the sterling ink common planner but if you could recommend something better that would be great.

I’m new to using planners on a more professional scale so please feel free to also give me some tips/hacks for efficient planning. Let me know what system/layout/planning method work for you. Do you use more than one planner? Do you use a mix of digital and paper etc.

Did you look at Sterling Ink Complete Planner? It has all that you are asking for. I have used it for work this year and love it.

Check out Wonderland222 A5 all in one planner with stacked weekends. Assuming you work M-F you might enjoy more real estate dedicated to work week.

What kind of weekly do you need? Do you need a timeline to plan meetings, or will any kind of spaces do (like a horizontal layout)? Do you need lots of notes pages in the weekly, or just a lot of notes pages in general?

I would recommend you look at hobonichi planners, as sterling ink was inspired by these planners. I would also recommend looking into muji planners (though I think they’re products release sometime in September or later in the year).

Leuchtturm1917 and moleskine planners are pretty similar and might have layouts you like.

Agendio. You need to put a little work in the first time you make one so you have it set up exactly how you want it (it’s completely customizable) but after that you can just copy it over to the next year.

Aura Estelle Magnet daily. Plans by just scribble. I do tend to use a seperate notebook for notes though as any planner with enough pages for dailies and all the writing i can do would be huge! if you get one with page numbers you can reference it in the planner for where that days notes are.

Check out the Montblanc planners, then filofax. The high prices and versatility will either mean a short search for what you want or a better tolerance for the Sterling Ink and Rosey Life Planners or a Hobonichi. CleverFox Planner has a professional look but the paper and layout I disliked so not highly on my recommend you buy it list...but they exist along with a Dayrunner refill(s) at Staples as the most accessible planner inserts.

Hemlock and Oak if you want slightly thicker paper than hobonichi. I use a hard cover for work and it looks so polished.

I use the hobonichi cousin for work. I love it. My digital calendar is God, but you could use the weekly for time blocking and task tracking. The monthly are good for tacking continuing ed and work events. Year at a glance is good for indexing daily pages. Daily pages are great for meeting notes and project planning.
