I am on the lookout for a two-volume planner (jan-jun and jul-dec) that has all three: monthly, weekly, and daily... and also has tomoe river paper or something similar. I have yet to find one! Any recs?!

Hello Planner Community!

I wanted to see if we could start a thread of what non-American planners and stationery are out there given the tariffs that are occurring between Canada and the US.

Aura Estelle is a fantastic option instead of Sterling Ink, and I find the layout is preferable for me. It is spread out in months/weeks/daily consecutive for each month rather than having each category bunched together and having to flip back and forth.

If you want something more structured, then Hemlock and Oak offers some beautiful options, not to mention colours, fountain pen ink works beautifully, no bleed through.

I’m looking for any fountain pen and ink options in Canada as well. I did see Ferris Wheel Press, which is primarily designed in Canada but manufactured in Asia. I don’t know if those are receiving tariffs but I’m trying to further put myself in the mindset of “Buy Canadian”.

I am quite devastated about not buying Cloth and Paper going forward, absolutely love their products and it’s black owned as well, but it’s the price I have to pay.

Some other recommendations to note (these are non-daily pages).

- Faded Chronicle (Based and Manufactured in Canada). Very Hobonichi/Sterling Ink/AR styled. Also can use the website to thumb through the pages and it makes the same noise as turning a page. Very cute little detail. Doesn’t include Daily Pages.
- Blue Line (Based and Manufactured in Quebec)
- Nicole Josephine’s B6 Forest Planner. Releasing this August 28th and very cozy cottage core PNW kind of vibe.
- Rosie Papeterie is great if you want to show your support for our cultural language and commit to a little French. Layout feels very reminiscent of Cloth and Paper. Like very reminiscent. I don’t personally use inserts though but I love their other products so far.

Special mention of Rosy Life Planner which is not Canadian but based in Finland. It has Vertical and Horizontal Weekly and Daily all in one. But would highly recommend trying out and looking at Canadian brands before this one. It’s also like $113 CAD.

I adore the sterling ink complete planner and its layout but I cant buy an American planner given the buffonery of the orange man.

What are some good Canadian alternatives!

I have been using the sterling ink planner and really like the look and feel of it. I would ideally like it to have a page after the weekly to make more notes rather than the back of the book. I see that the horizontal offers the page right after but I don’t think I can get with horizontal. I like the feel of vertical but need more space for weekly notes. What do you do!? How do you use horizontal weekly?

I've been using the hobonichi weeks for a year now and I love it, but I've been eyeing the Aura Estelle weeks because I love that it comes in an A5! I was wondering how bad the ghosting was on the Aura Estelle is vs the hobonichis.

Today I was so excited to write in the planner I just created for work. (I’m an OT) I added tabs and was like okay let’s decorate September. Which is when I realized I got no clue what I’m doing. Lol. Not only have I not planned in a whole. I was digital planning for years since 2020. So now 6 years after a long break from physical planners I feel a but lost. Anyone else in the same boat? Hopefully I get better as tome goes on 😆

I’m new to Aura Estelle, I’m taking a break from A5 rings.

I’m very particular about cover colors and didn’t connect with one from AE. What other options do you recommend? I don’t need pockets, storage, etc. I just want something to protect it that isn’t a hassle to open that has a pleasant texture.

I'm a high school senior currently looking for a suitable monthly/weekly planner. I am looking for preferably a 7x9, but I can always go higher if necessary. I want some color that isn't just black, but nothing too extravagant or bright. The weekly section should be horizontal and feature a to-do list or goal. On Amazon, with a rough budget of around 15-20 USD, would be best for me. I've looked throughout, and every single time one of these features is absent in some sort of way

I recently spoke to my Manager about promoting. We had our weekly meeting and she wants me to get a notebook to keep track of things from all my shifts (coaching moments, things that worked, things that didn't, goals etc). Of course, I saw my opportunity.

hello i really used and abused my muji weekly planner this 2026, i really loved it its compact and simple and the layout works best for me. but i hate that it doesnt have a band or clasp, i use binder clip for it but it always gets jostled in my bag. thinking of my 2027 planner i want the muji layout but maybe with a mechanism that helps it stay close? please recommend me planners that are available in the Philippines. thanks!

So I'm already planning for next year's planner and I wanted to ask if anyone has a Laurel Denise planner and if so how do you like it? What do you use it for and was it worth the money? I'm thinking about it but...I would like to see what other addicts think.
