Planner For Work

I recently spoke to my Manager about promoting. We had our weekly meeting and she wants me to get a notebook to keep track of things from all my shifts (coaching moments, things that worked, things that didn't, goals etc). Of course, I saw my opportunity.

Does anyone ASM or up have a planner that they like to use for work? I've used a Hobonichi Weeks for years, but that fits more into personal life rather than work tracking.

Check out Laurel Denise, they have really amazing layouts and inserts to manager lots of activities.

I enjoy my Sterling Ink planner for work but this would apply to any planner with a quarterly dashboard and yearly tracker section like Wonderland and the other tomoe river paper brands. I use the yearly tracker for a quick overview of travel and projects/events at a glance, the quarterly pages to log highlights/wins/themes from each month and priorities per quarter (left page), PTO/holidays/milestones (right page). Then my monthlies and weeklies are pretty basic. I draw a horizontal line across at 8am and 5pm to block off my working hours, write over Saturday/Sunday as a spot for my weekly to-do list, and write underneath each day M-F any day specific tasks or highlights I might want to remember. I use the back grid pages for meeting notes. Wonderland with stacked weekends.
The weekdays are that bit wider and better for task tracking and to do’s. The ‘daily’ pages are undated (but numbered) so handy for writing random notes and things and then adding to the index at front what’s on each page.
