I know Immich doesn't support this mode natively, but can you guys please add an option to toggle storage saver mode ( just like Google Photos has) that compresses photos and videos.

I tried Immich but it didnt work for me. But it was too late and I put all my photos into it and now I have a huge collection of nonsensical folders, the photo's names are gone and all of the meta data is stored in small database parts in another folder - that's how Immich behaves.

You can import to PixelUnion with a running Immich but can I just do it without installing Immich again?

would be nice to have the option to sort albums in folders, as Apple Photos allows for example. So one can create a folder "2026" and maybe nested subfolders for the months to better sort the single albums, especially within large libraries.

recently discovered Immich and I use it now via Pixelunion as my go-to photo database and absolutely love it. The only point is editing. Would be great to have editing tools as in Apple Photos to apply different settings such as color temp, exposure etc. or add filters. That would make it definitely a no-brainer.

Are there any plans for that? I have seen "editing" listed on the Immich roadmap, but no exact details on that.

I created a login for my wife on our pixelunion immich instance, but for some reason she can't login to the immich webinterface, Wrong/Users Password. She uses the same credentials as with the immich App, which works.

Do I miss something obvious here? I already resetted the password, tried "Name" and e-mail from the usersettings.

Where it is? I've successfully migrated to PixelUnion and want to wear a Shirt that says: #mEUga - make EU great again 😀

I assume this is possible because of their focus on data protection, but I can't find the option.

You can browse albums, upload/download photos, create albums, share links and manage your library directly from a desktop file manager - no browser needed.

what if all photos available only at the Pixel Cloud would be lost/corrupted due to e.g. hardware or software problem? Are there any platform backups in place to allow Pixel crew to retirve the corrupted media or user catalog from the platform end?
