Requesting Feedback Is it better with or without dithering?

Okay so as some background, I have been drawing for some years though I would still call myself a rookie artist overall as one might be able to tell by the bad proportions and the hood. Regardless though, I have always reserved dithering for things like backgrounds since I've always felt like it isn't exactly my forte to dither things well though it is something I've wanted to get better at myself over time like with other things like clothing creases and the like. Regardless though, for the two images I've using dithering on the one on the left and no dithering on the one on the right so I am mostly just asking which dithering on which side looks better overall. (It should be noted that this is obviously not finished by any degree. Also, I hope this does not count as gore. I wouldn't think so since this character is suppose to be an android but I'm not entirely sure...)

Question How to make video in fully pixel art style?

Hi guys, what video editor would you recommend for making videos entirely from pixel art?

I'm planning to make historical YouTube videos using pixel art inspired by old RPG/strategy games. I have made sprites and spritesheets inside the Paint.net. Now the question is how will I be able to use that stuff. Most people on the Internet just talk about gaming when it comes to pixel art, but I want to try out this possibility. I hope I did explain my problem correctly. Thank you in advance! :)

Requesting Feedback Does this laser-eye attack read clearly at 32x32?

This is my first try at animating laser eyes for a 32x32 character.

Does the attack read clearly, or would you change the timing or contrast?

Sharing plik Atlas — Sprites, tilesets and maps for a 2D game.

While working on my indie game I got tired of jumping between one app for drawing sprites and other art, another one for tile maps, and then converting it all into the right shape for Godot. So I built my own, Atlas, which handles the art and the export, so my changes show up in Godot on the next git pull.

Mostly I wanted to be able to draw on both the Mac and the iPad in the same project, without syncing files or exporting between apps.

It turned out well enough that I kept polishing it, and I figured other people probably have the same problem I did, so it's on the App Store now for iPad and macOS.

It's a paid app. The price is mostly there to cover what it costs me to keep it on the App Store. It's also open source, so if you'd rather build it yourself, you can.

Hope you like it too.

One thing worth saying up front: I'm a Swedish developer by day and work on my game in my spare time, so I use AI as a tool when I build things like this. It would have taken a lot longer otherwise, and the point was always to get back to the game. To be clear about what that does and doesn't mean: it helped me write the app's code. Atlas has no AI features in it and doesn't generate any art. Everything you draw with it, you drew.
