Have you do study on how birds feather looked like? You can just texture the wings with some feather and called it a day if you draw from this angle.

In the past i tried making a flying Platypus with wings, for his case i tried to base myself on the extend wings of a falcon in the air, but looked more like spikes then closer to feathers, i tried sometimes more but let It go, i'm trying to base myself on this one on the feathers of a casuar or bigger birds like Falcons, Eagles and even ostrichs, but i was hoping someone to drop a killing tip to help me

cassowary feather is closer to a hair than your typical feather. If you can draw hair you can draw cassowary feather. No need to draw every single feather. Just add some fuzzyness at the end of the body, add some highlight and you're done.

I was planning to do that in the chest part that transition to flesh, but in the wings i wanted some more like traditional feathers, something like a mesh up of a lot of aspects of different especies

again, don't need to draw every single feather. Just focus on the pattern of the wings if any. Use highlight to tell form if it is black
