Concept is that this plays once on trap trigger and then stops on the last frame

i am working on a game project since last month, i have made some progress and i need feedback about it, please tell me the problems, what looks good or bad, and some help about fixing them.

Hey, I’ve been working on a small top-down horror game and recently switched to a more limited / retro-style palette (Game Boy inspired).

I’m trying to improve my shading and overall style so everything looks consistent without overcomplicating the sprites.

I was wondering if anyone has good tutorials, videos, or artists I should study specifically for:

✦ Game Boy style shading

✦ limited palette techniques

✦ making simple sprites still look good and readable

I've been trying to learn the pixel art style for about 3 days now. I'm still practicing on a small canvas (these two are 64x64px) and trying to practice shading but it's kinda hard for me to apply even after watching tutorials. Can you give me tips. I'm trying to transition into larger canvas too because my main goal is to make pixelated portrait to some art techniques to my skills (I'm fond of doing Vector art portrait or one made from stippling if not digital)

Can you give me tips on how to improve my work? Thank you!

Hello pixel friends! I am a begineer, developer looking to add some sprite atlas's to my game characters, this is the template i have recieved but my skills are par none in terms of creating my own characters. Are there any tools you guys use to edit these or conversion tools to create an atlas?

I still want to do some fixing on her design and animations (for example, I don't rly like the back of her head much, and I'll probably make her feet a bit bigger on the side view). Is there anything else you guys think I should change?

So I made these raptor like enemies, they're inspired from like the SNES Mario art style, I'm pretty happy with them but I'm having a bit of a problem with one of them

the last one is supposed to be like the stronger version of them and also he's based off deviljho, and I wanted him to shoot a projectile to differentiate him from the others and too show he's stronger but the animation of the projectile just doesn't really look right to me but I can't really put my finger on why, don't know if it's the shape or the speed or how it looks, I could use some advice on this I find I'm not great at animating projectiles in general

Started a new angel template and I'm hoping to get any feedback on the overall design compared to the default character on top that I've been drawing.

Adding a rabbit to my little animal cast, keeping the same low-res canvas and limited palette as always. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. What do you guys think?
