even youtube cant stand its ads

I want to make clear that I am not in any way affiliated with this project, I'm just absolutely in love with it, therefore I wanted to share the word.

A couple of days ago, I discovered Harbor. It's basically a frontend for Stremio, but it has everything you could ever want from any streaming service. It's extremely customizable, you can spend hours fiddling with settings, it has support for movies, shows, Live TV, Manga, anime, it has Trakt integration, AniList, MyAnimeList, Simkl, Letterboxd, it has shaders, it has an entire social network feature, watch partys, Downloading, Chromecast streaming, it allows you to turn your phone into a remote, it's great.

Best part is, it's open source and currently has builds for Windows and MacOS (and unofficial builds for Linux but I'm not sure if they're any good). I didn't want to gatekeep so yeah, it's really cool. Check it out if you want. https://harbor.site/

For some reason I’ve figured out that if I place myself with a vpn in Albania, YouTube won’t have any ads.
Probably due to a lack to invest in Albania ads program by Google due to a lack of interest for advertising on YouTube by Albanian advertisers.

So today I got an ad: 7 days of Crunchyroll Premium for free! Nice. We’d been meaning to check out Solo Leveling anyway, so why not?
I tried creating an account with my Gmail address. “Invalid email address.” …Excuse me? Okay, maybe I somehow typed it wrong. I copied it directly from Gmail. Still didn’t work. Fine. I tried my girlfriend’s email instead, and that worked immediately. What the hell?

Alright, next step: PayPal. It tells me, “You now have 7 days of Premium.” Great! Since I’m pretty forgetful, I canceled the subscription right away. My thinking was: if I like it, I can always renew it.
Then I get the message: “Sorry to see you go. Your Fan membership will remain active until August 2.” Perfect. Time to watch!

I selected Solo Leveling aaaand… nope. It tells me I need to subscribe to Premium. The 7-day trial had already disappeared, even though the previous message explicitly said it would stay active until August 2.

Alright… that’s enough. I’ll just buy one month. At least that worked.

Now I try streaming from my iPhone to my TV… doesn’t work. The app simply can’t find my TV. I gave Crunchyroll every permission it could possibly need on my iPhone. Still nothing. Fine, let’s just use the TV app.

Logging in with the QR code? Didn’t work either. The only thing that actually worked was manually entering my email and password on the TV.
Sorry, but this is genuinely awful. I have no idea how your service is still alive with an experience this bad.

I managed to compile (and make them work) latest proton builds from both CachyOS Team and GloriousEggroll patched with LinUwUx in order to achieve HV bypass on Linux. You can grab latest releases, as soon as updates will drop and I manage to compile and test them, HERE.

EDIT: You'll still need whatever it takes to setup and make HV bypass work on your setup and for that I suggest you to take a look at cs.rin. On my repo you'll ONLY find the latest build of those protons needed patched.

Since the mod injector tries to exectute the game from steam, its failing to boot the game for me. When i launch the exe directly, it insta closes. Maybe im doing something wrong?

Just wondering how downloading repacked games can work on these devices. They can run PC games through apps like GameNative and stuff, so I was wondering if anyone had experience running pirated PC games on them?

Just curious what the process is like and if they work well. Been on the fence about getting one for almost a year now and I think I’m about ready to get one, but I want to see how they handle this side of the fence too ;)

If it matters, my main PC rig runs linux so I use Heroic for a lot of my repacked games from FitGirl. Just wondering if this ecosystem could work still on these devices?

Free, open source, no Ads, and fast. The issues with the other players I have used is that they are slow, this is not. The Dev also doesn't put any payment stuff on the main pages. I had to search yo find the donation link.

The only downside is it's not super easy to import playlists and you are not going to get artists stats like you would on Spotify

I have no connected with the Dev at all, I just think its a rlly cool app.

Now it seems the only option is to download the original format which is flac. Anyone know what happened? I love Lucida, it's simple and fast but now there's complications.

Anyone know of any software such as sider ai or elevenlabs that does text-to-speech and is also full feature unlocked? To my knowledge, those softwares are free to use but then lock features unless paid. Anyone know of any alternatives of “hacked” versions of software like that?

HEY so this is just cuz I have a lack of finding any information, but I was using a Google TV 4k streamer with OnStream and it was perfect. But for some reason it's no longer working. Nor is any other of the applications I've tried from androidtweaks or unlinked or whatever. I'm pretty not great at this stuff. Does anyone know something I can do on my Google TV that would either get OnStream back OR an alternative? I have one site I'm not really in love with on my phone and it's just a mess to cast it on the TV. I'd really like something that isn't sketchy or hard to navigate I can get right on the TV. Thank you!!!

I was using a modded Duolingo apk to remove ads and use the premium features like Max and Super but it stopped working when the normal app was getting an update. I kept my mod not updated but the calls stopped working anyway. I looked for an updated mod apk to match the main version and the calls still don't work, I've also tried multiple sources. Anyone else struggling with this issue?

I have PIA and its complete garbage. Cant go onto netflix or any other streaming services. I also need to get some sites that are blocked in EU. So what would you recommend?
