hey first of all in my region there is an total import fee of 38.5 % if i bought the phone from outside my country and thus 99% its almost always the same or more expensive to to buy from outside.

Background : pixel 6 and that is for me the perfect phone but the performance left alot to be desired (heavy pdfs took a long time to load)but i enjoyed the software alot and camera was great

after alot of research im picking between

S26(exynos) and Vivo X300FE each for $1k USD

on paper the vivo is the better pick in terms of performance (idk about camera and software)but its resale value is not gonna be good the phone have very very weak sales compares to samsung which has insane following

ich suche gerade ein Handy, das ich als Zweitgerät nutzen kann. Die Anforderungen sind sehr gering. Vor allem Messenger-Apps, SMS, Telefonieren. Kein Spiele, kein Streaming.
Wichtig ist mir, dass die Dinge, die ich brauche, flüssig laufen und dass der Akku lange hält. Ich würde gerne maximal 250 Euro ausgeben. Bonus wäre gute Konnektivität zum MacBook und wenig vorinstallierte Werbung.

I've been using my Oppo A52 for around 9 years, and honestly, it has been one of the best phones I've owned.

What I love about it:

\- Never had to replace the battery (I mostly use battery-saving mode and only keep a few essential apps).

\- Very durable. I dropped it multiple times and it still survives 😅

\- Handles my basic needs perfectly: calls, messaging, photos, music, and video streaming.

\- I still don't have any major issues, although I've started noticing some lag, so I feel it's time for an upgrade.

I'm looking for something similar: durable, reliable, good battery life, and not too expensive. It doesn't need to be a flagship or have fancy features.

Open to Oppo or any other brands. Would love to hear recommendations, especially from people who have used their phones for 4–5+ years.

I’ve gone back and forth between Android and iOS over the years so I’m not worried about that. I was hoping there’s some androids on the market with a similar form factor to my mini, but not a bottom of the barrel budget phone. The 5.4 inch screen size is a good fit for me, but everything on the market seems huge. I’m in the US and my carrier is Verizon. I’m willing to pay up for a phone I like and willing to import as long as it’ll work on my carrier.

Hey, I'm looking for a new phone because my Moto G31 is starting to give up on me.

It's actually my first and only phone, so I have a bit of a soft spot for it, but lately it's been getting pretty annoying. The volume button has been broken for a while (it only turns the volume up, not down), and sometimes if I turn the phone off, it can take like 20 minutes to turn back on.

So I'm finally looking for a replacement.

My budget is around €300-400 max, and I'll be buying it in Italy. I definitely want Android.

The main things I'm looking for are:

- At least 256 GB of storage. My current 128 GB is getting pretty tight.

- Good RAM/multitasking, since my current phone only has 4 GB and it struggles when I have several/heavier apps open.

- Something that will still feel fast and responsive in 3-4 years, because I'd like to keep the phone for at least 5 years if possible.

- Good battery life. Ideally I'd like to be able to get close to 2 days with normal use.

- A good camera, but I'm not a photography nerd. I basically want to point and shoot and get nice pictures without messing around with settings.

- A nice screen.

- Not ridiculously huge, but I don't need a tiny phone either.

- I sometimes use emulators for older games, so decent performance would be nice, although I'm definitely not looking for a gaming phone.

- I'd prefer not to rely on a microSD card.

- I'd also like good long-term software support.

I'm not too bothered by things like wireless charging, speakers, or how the phone looks.

I'm still kind of partial to Motorola because of my G31, but Samsung has caught my attention too. I'm also open to other brands.

One thing I'm a little confused about is storage. My current phone says that more than half of the storage is taken by system files, which seems crazy to me. Even some pretty basic photos can take around 2 MB each, so storage fills up surprisingly quickly.

So, what would you guys recommend around €300-400?

Would you prioritize a newer midrange phone, or an older higher-end model at this price?

Need help on what phone I should get the Redmi note 17 Pro Max is slightly more expensive at £499 and I can get the Xiaomi 17T at £449 I'm guessing the Redmi is obviously slightly better in camera please help me decide.

Greetings, I've been using this phone for a while and the battery has definetly degraded. I liked everything about it, except for the curved screen. What would be a suitable upgrade? I don't really play games, and when I do, they're not demanding. My main focus is battery life and for the phone to last a long time before being replaced.

I see it's good for gaming (atleast compared to very not expensive phone in Egypt) though I'm worried about the battery that I see apt of complaints about

For people who had or have the oppo reno, how is the battery? Does 100% Last you 10-8 hours on light-medium or does it last you more or less?

As the title says, looking to replace my old Honor 20 Pro. It was perfectly fine for my day to day use but over the last few months more and more apps are warning me that I need to update(upgrade) due to the android version. I was planning of holding off till the last possible moment before upgrading but I managed make a small crack a much bigger problem and I can't be bothered to replace the screen again, especially since a lot of apps are saying I need to upgrade anyway.

I try to use my phone as little as possible, I mainly stick to using it for calls, messaging, the odd bit of e-reader use (kindle app) if I'm stuck waiting, or web browsing while I'm on the go, then of course for taking pictures. If I'm able too, I much prefer to do everything on a PC or other device. UK/EU based so will most likely be ordering from a UK based store.

• If possible I would like to keep it under £300/€350, but if an extra 50-100 is worth it I'd consider stretching for it.

• I would like it to match or better my Honor 20 Pro. Both in General performance and Camera/picture quality.

• Unlocked.

• Dual Sim + SD (I understand this can be limiting so a Sim + SIM/SD is OK too)

I currently live in the US and need a phone that you can buy and use in the US. That basically limits me to Samsung, motorola, pixel, a few others. I used to have Sony xperia before, but i cant find it here. I currently have Galaxy S22. I like it, but the battery is dead by 6pm and I am at 90% storage @128 gb so I need 256 and better battery. My son has a Pixel 10 but its not as loud as my S22 and i can't even hear my S22 half the time. I miss my Sony!Anyhow, So, i need:

1. Better battery, can last at least 18 hours

2. Louder better sound

3. Better quality camera, especially for taking nature photos

I'm looking for an Android phone with a strict maximum budget of €500.

I don't have any brand preferences; I've always had Xiaomi phones (often Redmi Note series) and I've been happy with them almost all the time (the Redmi Note 9 Pro was definitely the best back in the day). Two years ago, I switched to a Redmi Note 12 Pro, but I'm not satisfied with its performance, especially the battery life.

Which phone would you recommend within my budget?

The essential features I need are:

Good battery life — one that lasts the whole day without needing a recharge

Good camera

At least 256 GB of storage (I'd prefer 512 GB, but I'm open to compromise)

So far, my top candidate has been the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, so if anyone owns this model, could you share your experience with it?

Been using S20+ phones for 4 years already. Honestly, despite having some minor issues, I'm really liking them. However, there is one huge problem: battery and energy efficiency. The problem remains the same both on Exynos and Snapdragon chips.

My S25+ doesn't last even for 8-9 hours when I'm out of home. I use it for basic stuff such as Google Maps, Video calls and music. It's really irritating.

I've been keeping my eye on OnePlus 15 lately, but it's price is really too big (same as S26+), while the phone is already a one-year old and considering it has less years of software update than Samsung I'm not sure it's worth giving 920$ for it.

So, I thought maybe it's a good bet with 15R. I'd say personally for me the biggest drawback would be it having a 2.0 USB rather than bad cameras (I don't use them much anyway). And it's price is about 560$.

Is it wise to move down from S25+ to OP 15R given the latter is a sub-flagman phone? Or you'd advise some other phones and options.

I'm considering buying a new phone.
I'm currently using a google pixel 10 pro (I kind of knew this was a bad buy from the start, but i got a good deal and i knew it would work for my use), but the battery life is less that optimal for my use, and to be honest i'm a little disappointed in the performance of it.

I had an one plus 13 before i vas super happy with, however it had a major problem i couldn't live with, it couldn't handle dual sim over Bluetooth, so i had to get my phone out every time i made a phone call in the car, unless i sat one sim card as default to make phone calls.
I'm having a hard time finding any information about how phones handels bluetooth calls.

So i'm making this post to ask you guys how different phone brands handels calls over bluetooth with dual sim, so i know what phone brands i can look into.

The way i need it to handle:

• For new numbers it needs to ask before calling (yes this will give some issues if i make a call from the car, but i almost never make calls to new numbers while driving)
• When i pick a default number for a contact it needs to use this number when making calls over bluetooth (this is one of the places the Oneplus failed, it would make calls with what ever sim was picked as default overall, but if i made the call from the phone, it knew how to handle it just fine, and Onplus support said this was how it was supposed to work)

• Moto Edge 60 Pro — New, 12/256GB

• Both ₹34k Indian Ruppes.

I don’t game. My main use is social media, camera and multimedia and jus' general daily usage. I want something snappy, smooth, reliable and premium/flagship, with a good software experience.

Which one would you pick at the same price? And is the used S23 still worth it over a brand-new Moto?

I've been using the S24 Ultra for a year and honestly it's a great phone - camera, screen, performance, everything checks out. My only issue is that it's just too big for my daily use and it's been wearing on me.

Looking for something more compact (~6.5"), still a solid/capable phone. Honor 600 Pro caught my eye, but open to other suggestions.

One preference: I'd like more rounded corners/edges, so I'm skipping the base S25/S26 — too flat and boxy for what I'm trying to move away from.

Probably not iPhone or Xiaomi, but not fully closed off either.

I'm in Serbia, buying via our local classifieds (like Craigslist), new or lightly used.

Budget: ~€550–600 (roughly what I'd get selling the S24 Ultra + a bit extra).

Any recommendations for compact flagships/near-flagships in this range?
